"I'm grateful for no longer being the reason my mom cries" Man that got me. I'm so proud of him to turn his life around and I'm happy that his mother gets to have her son back fully whole.
I legit go back and watch Alberto Del Rio entrances just to hear Ricardo announce him to the ring. The music, the announcing, the car, everything comes together perfectly. Goosebumps everytime.
Ricardo, if you look at the comments at all, just know that we're all behind you in your fight, you have so much love that you may not even know about in this world. Your career was memorable, and such a good memory for so many of us! Glad to have you in Lancaster!
I think he did a good job. He had to take a back seat. But he did it. And he was successful at the job that was asked of him. Wish the guy nothing but success.
Definitely didn't see the direction this one went. It's awesome when you do interviews with the people that don't always get those opportunities and you learn a lot about someone. He seems like a very genuine guy with an amazing story to tell, and you gave him the platform to tell it.
I got the opportunity to train at Three Legacies Wrestling for a while and I cannot express how amazing Ricardo is. The encouragement he gives you as you make your way through the process is nothing short of amazing. One of my favorite humans ❤️
Ricardo is one of those wrestlers who may not get the serious push however, they are always the ones who creates the best moments that stays in our minds forever. everytime i see Ricardo on tv, im glued to the screen
I could not stand this guy when I was 11 years old when he would announce for Alberto Del Rio but hey, he did his job, that is what he was supposed to do.
I often talk to my fiancé about how some of the wrestlers and workers are supposed to be annoying and stupid. I know she gets it but it’s funny to me that she’s constantly complaining about Dom and Liv lmao
@@PalmTreePunklol instantly thought of Dom before I got to the end of your comment. That's normal tho, a non wrestling fan would be like why do you watch this guy
Wow, this has to be one of Chris' top 10 interviews! These interviews are the best when the wrestlers are out of character and share their pain, struggles, and triumphs. Ricardo Rodriguez has an amazing story.
I loved this interview. I always assumed Ricardo was someone Alberto brought up with him and you find out he was just thrown in the fire and had to just roll with the punches and he honestly excelled good for him
The is the first interview I watch in its entirety. Instead of just clips. I always thought dude was very entertaining and haven’t seen much of him since he left WWE. Glad dude is doing good even tho he went thru depression. Hope him and his wrestling school thrive. Seems like a good genuine dude.
I severely struggle with the alcohol and depression and the problems Ricardo is talking about. I’m glad he got the help he needed. I’m still working on mine, but hours of CVV a day has kept me distracted pretty well. 🙏🏼
Thank you Ricardo. I'm from PA near you and hopefully this will help. I'm trying hard and feel so vulnerable. I have a child and need to be there for her
Guy runs a wrestling school in my town. Does awesome work with the community and puts on some awesome shows. Got to see RVD and sandman on the same show because of him. All the best to him.
I came to reminisce on the times I'd watch Alberto and Ricardo on the Mexican channels. I didnt expect to laugh so much remembering these moments. I even got teary eyed with the last gratitude statement. Thank you Ricardo, and thank you CVV.
I like Ricardo Rodriguez. He did his job, and did it well.. hope his wrestling school continues to strive and we get some future stars from his school.
Ricardo talking about emotional nights made me remember Wrestlemania 29. The pyro, the music, the way he announced. It was so amazing. Being in attendance and having my Mexican mother next to me finally understood why Pro Wrestling was important to millions. She cried so much seeing the Mexican colors and seeing Alberto wrestle was a huge core memory for her. To this day she still brings it up and asks for me to replay that match every April.
I didn’t watch when he was on WWE but I’m glad I decided to watch this episode! It was one of the best and most inspirational videos that you have done!
The addiction segment really hit home. Uncomfortably similar route to 4Lokos and that floored me listening at work. Thank you for your words and what y'all do.
i didn’t know about his addiction struggles. powerful stuff to hear and i’m extremely glad he got out of the cycle. thankful for the entertainment he gave me as a kid and thankful that he’s in a great position now
Exactly man. Thankful for these podcasts giving us an insight to the person. Didn't think anything of Del Rio back then but always loved Ricardo, he was that good
Ricardo is filling the Shoes of men like Afa Anoa’i by continuing the progress and spread of knowledge of pro wrestling in Pennsylvania and ultimately for the whole business. Central Pa and Pennsylvania as a whole is chock full of wrestling history and it’s awesome to have Ricardo and 3LW as a part of that.
Damn didn’t think the addiction segment would hit so hard. Same thing I tell myself when buying a beer or 2. Didn’t follow wrestling during your time but thank you Ricardo for being so honest about it
Such a beautiful story. I loved the talks he had about perception and mental health. I love that the comments are filled with positivity! Hope you continue your journey Ricardo 🙌🏻
It's cool to see this guy again I was a bit young when he was in wwe with Alberto, and I can imagine the trauma this guy went through I remember how they would humiliate him nd u can see it took a toll on him as well. Glad to see him over come and having what he has now his own wrestling school keep dat head up keep pushing karnal
We would've never known about how bad his struggles with addiction was. We're all happy Ricardo made it out safely is such a blessing 🎉 I honestly didn't like Alberto growing up but LOVED Ricardo Rodriguez, if he wasn't with ADR then it wouldn't have worked, much blessings to you CVV for this great interview
