I love that Bo staff from KarateMart. Jake is right at first the weight gives you a good workout. As a pilot I travel alot and it is easy to break down and put in my bag and reassemble at the hotel.

Can you do a video on fancy weapon displays(example: do you think doing fancy tricks with nunchaku for example would be effective in you winning a fight.) Are fancy tricks necessary in self defense or they are no more than just that-fancy displays?
Also does the Steel Bo Staff have a hollow core? If so could one cut an end off, fill the staff with lead shots, and then weld it shut for a heavier staff for intense strength training?

I use a cold steel polypropelene staff and its heavy as well. Id definately favor a bo staff for zombies. Im decent with a staff but not as good as you. My staff is also in an octagonal shape and is slightly tapered so one end is a tad bigger than the other. hard to notice. also harder to freestyle and spin than the ones you use because of its octagonal shape. you should try using one. Its by cold steel

is that bo staff good for Wing Chun or should i get a longer one?
Get a longer almost pole like staff. Wing chun practicioners use a Bo that's extremely long and butterfly knives. Look up some videos you'll see.

Make sure you're skipping with both hand facing up, then skipping again when your hand is facing down. I made the mistake of just skipping on one hand turn the first time around. Good luck!

I also practice Shoai jioa, Wing chun, and bak mei.
Fought and defeated 1st through 5th degree kenpo, aikido, and taekwondo black belts.
Those are only my martial arts acheivements in the past 9 years.
