people can you say Daumbra or just Umbra - not dorumbra or doumbra darumbra (the DA means daedric artifact) Umbra THAT IS THE NAME! it's annoying to see so many players not knowing how to bloody spell it! the quest is called Vile Whispers and the sword is only referred to by those 2 names.. it cannot be that hard people.. Daumbra is the name of the spirit of the person we kill to get the sword, Umbra her soul is literally trapped inside it! ;)
Have you ever checked out the Dark Envoy mod? It has an enchantment you can learn called Sinister Grip. Sinister Grip deals additional damage like many weapon enchantments, but its power gradually increases. As you kill enemies with weapons with this enchantment, Sinister Grip absorbs their soul, but not for a soul gem. Instead, the more souks Sinister Grip absorbs, the more the damage increase grows. And yes, if you enchant your follower's weapon with Sinister Grip, their kills add to the same count. Making you and them deadlier at the same time. Why even a mere Fork with Sinister Grip could grow to outstrip Dumbra's damage level.
Your relationship with that sword reminds me a bit of Thor and his hammer, as he describes it to Korg. She wants to have your heart next to hers and Thors hammer pulls him off.... the ground.
nice vid. Looks awesome. Problem with using mod (There Is No Umbra - Chapter II) is that it requires DAR (Dynamic Animation Replacer). DAR needs to be updated again to last AE update of Jan 2022. So, DAR still does not work for latest AE version. There is also a possibility of a future Replacement for DAR.
Little cool tip is you put soul trap on a bow and shoot it at something you think you can interact with and want to be sure well shoot it since soul trap coats an interactive thing blue you can see which items you can interact with
During my start in my official game in the bar in Whiterun you get to fist fight a big blonde armored woman (Like Brianne from game of thrones) who after I made A follower and married in order to steal her house early on in the game. (I needed storage space 🤦.) She stuck with me and upgraded a few levels as we made it to discover the dragon burial ground together along with a close structure and cave, after that we left and I brought her back to the burial ground where I relieved her of all and any of her Skyrim duties she will ever have to do. Plus I wanted her stuff and to stash the body where nobody would see or eVa find out 🙄😶😖. So here's the funny part, it has to be at least a couple months later in the game I'm up about 30 levels and as I was passing through the Tombs of Whiterun (just messing around.) I find her coffin and what seems to be a burial spot. I even went back on another game where she's alive and her name is not on that coffin it's empty! 😱 Like what, who found her? 🧐🤬🧐 Are they doing forensics, like WTF?? L❓L
Legendary, survival mode, no fast travel, no crosshair, lighting settings set to darkest possible. You can retain your current follower by asking them to be your housecarl. That way you keep them and the sword.
I have a playthrough I'm doing on xbox where I have lightsabers and use the force, It would be a dream come true to be able to fight with my lightsabers floating out of my hands like I'm using the force sort of what it looks like there, but where I can equip the weapon. To be able to throw the Saber with the force or swing it close to me would blow my mind.
I don't think I'd say that flying on a sword isn't lore friendly considering how levitation magic exists in the Elder Scrolls universe. I however do think using a sword as a skateboard is a little... ridiculous lmao.

Fixed it all u have to do is talk to lod in falkreath and find his dog than u will get the quest daedirc friend quest and after finishing the quest u can activate his shrine hope it helps

I am doing the quest "She Trusted You" and have reached the statue in Haemar's Shame but there is no action to start a dialog with Clavicus.
