They both took around 11 seconds to load up (from the first Windows splash to the desktop). The motherboard's POST and Windows login screen made 98 seem much slower.
@@AdhamOhmHow did you get 11 seconds from 98? I got 25, counting from splash to first frame of login screen + login until desktop fully loads. For the record 95 is 15, starting from "Starting Windows 95" until cursor becomes normal
Not always, it depends of the computer, I have 2 devices with win 95-98 and the win 98 boots first, since the device makes less checks, and win 95 pc made less checks which makes it faster to boot
Win 98 was definitely the better o/s, as it fixed some of 95's shortcomings. Plug and Play and driver support was also much better

They added to many features. Win98 looks to shiny and that's why it's so slow. The 95 is better. Trust me it's not worth upgrading at this point.
