When was this?I know Jesse Marunde died that year in July,may God rest his soul.

..first year of brian shaw..I'm wow'd..I didn't know he ever competed against pudjanowski..incredible career duration ..almost 15 years .
.all these up n coming names. .Kevin nee..dave ostlund...rip jesse marunde..I really remember having high hopes for him .there were a couple others too .it just shows you how brutal this sport is..guys you think are the next big thing or at least worthy of a couple podium finishes just disappear, get hurt, overextended, fatigued..
..even the polynesian shark derek boyer was still competing then..!..
