This version…, after listening to the HR’s album cut for years, is a textbook example of why I have a deep connection with raw, honest songwriting. I LOVE the album cut, but This is just downright f**king beautiful 🙏🏼❤️🩹❤️…Thank you @westernAF for these vulnerable captures. John, you and Benjamin make one hell of a pair🤟🏼🔥🙏🏼❤
Johno Leeroy was such a gem, and sucha pleasure to see live- Coleman and I had a beautiful conversation about his dear friend in Portland a couple months back on their tour. What a beautiful friendship and a beautiful human! It was a treasure! Thank you for sharing his music with the masses!
He didn't cause thier pain he wanted to help them find the truth but they just passed the blame he never imagined or thought they actually wood but they did so he just embraceed all the pain they brought on themselves and took it all with a smile most of the time because he truly loved everyone inspite of all the pain he didn't cause he only embraced them and prayed most of the time sharing and feeling the pain as his own because he new they was all alone with nowhere to run so he just stayed and told them when I'm gone when your all free and im wraped in chains all over Glory to God not men and that includes me remember please forgive yourselves and follow Jesus Amen
It appears that your mother had a considerable influence on your view of your father. It is indeed tragic how often such situations arise. She may not have been aware of the emotional pain she caused you through her animosity towards him. My two sons also experienced the repercussions of their mother's disdain for me. As they have matured, they have come to recognize the extent of her dishonesty.

I identify so much with this. I won't miss my father when he's gone.
This is SO DEEP. To the writer, bless you. I hope this act curbed your anger and helped you find something to keep pushing on.
