Beautiful little skirt, well done! 👌 I know many people look forward to Autumn dressing - I really don't, I'm a Spring and Summer lover. But I do love the rusts, browns and burnt orange colour palette associated with this time of year, and I recently picked up a glorious floral cotton fabric in warm Autumnal colours which is destined to become a skirt. I guess that's my concession to the upcoming change of the seasons! 😊 I love your leaf painting too 😍
I am so loving that skirt!!! It looks so good on you, especially with that cozy sweater! I too, am in the fall mood and eager to decorate and dress for autumn but here in Calgary we are having such beautiful summery warm days I hate to rush the fall season, considering we have such long cold winters.🌷❤️🇨🇦🌷❤️🇨🇦
Thank you so much Margaret! That makes perfect sense! Here in the southern USA, fall takes its own sweet time, and doesn’t last long, so I like to make my own fall, haha!
I love this idea, so inspiring! I think the patch pockets are cute and more flattering to the lines of the skirt than the side pockets. Thank you for sharing!
I think the skirt looks great with the sweater when it is untucked. Skirt would have looked cool too if you could have worn it slightly below waist line on the hip without a waist band. But then had belt loops and a self fabric belt.
Love your art and your sewing skills so much Q: how do you maintain your sewing machine? I have one almost similar to yours ,If possible can you make a video about it ? Thanks
Great idea with the skirt, though I must admit I like it both ways and perhaps even prefer it in the original way. However, I am older and so I do like the knee length better, for me at least.

Thank you so much! Great question! I just oil and clean it a couple of times a year- I’ll try to include that in a future video!
