TY for sharing your Family, Animals and Farm with the world to see.
Amen, very well stated! I am a bed bound quadriplegic and your vlogs bring me so much joy, while my 12 and almost 14 year old sons are busy with school.
I could listen to Mary Carl talk about chickens and birds all day long🦜. She is so sweet and so knowledgeable.🐣Thank you very much for taking us on a field trip with you guys today.🦆
Thanks for taking me to a Chicken Show. I really enjoyed seeing the different breeds and colors of these beautiful birds. MariCarl is a great instructor on the finer points of these noble fowls. Best of luck to the new couple and my they produce many little ducks.
Dolly and June are beautiful. Venus and Mars would have been my first thought. Moonpie is a southern granny’s favorite thing to call her sweet grand babies. Loved seeing all the beautiful breeds at the show. Thanks
Thanks y'all. I really enjoyed the bantam show. We didn't get to see it even though we're within an hour's drive. The weather was to cold and rainy so we stayed home. Good luck with your breeding of the Hookbills. Much Love
Thank you for sharing the trip and seeing all the beautiful chickens and roosters. Marycarl will have an awesome time helping increase the Hookbill duck population. Love from the mountain in middle Tennessee, Fran
Faithful viewer, first comment. I absolutely loved going to the chicken show with you! I've been a chicken fan since I walked amongst my grandmother's chickens as a toddler in 1952. I have never lived where it was possible to have chickens so I get major thrills watching your videos and podcasts. I'm one of those viewers that is with you every day. Great videos, enjoyable content!
Another fine visit with the Cog Hill gang. And a road trip to boot! Nugget should be paid more for being Sheriff AND food inspector. He is doing double duty.
..what a treat, all those chickens! I used to have chickens but My favourite one, BlackBeauty, died of being egg bound, even the vet couldn't save her, and I was just so anxious for my other ladies, I passed them on to my more knowledgeable, robust, friend to care for.
Wow!!! I don't know how on Earth you choose from all of those beautiful chickens!! I never realized there were so many different breeds! Each cage you passed I found myself thinking "now THAT one is gorgeous!' No wonder you have so many and Mary Carl is so intrigued. I learned something new again!
Good Morning Cog Hill family. I come from Petaluma, California which was the Egg Capital of the World during the late 1800’s. You can still see some of the old chicken barns.
I have never seen so many different breeds of beautiful chickens! That heritage breed chicken is striking. I’m so happy Mary Carl got another hook bill duck. I have been wondering if there would be one fortunate enough to find its way to Coghill and Mary C. You are going to hopefully going to be instrumental in preserving this breed. That’s something to be proud of. Thank you and thank you for taking us along so we can see these beautiful birds! Thank God you all are all right. Prayers going up for all those who have been affected by the storms. God bless everyone.
Good morning y’all! Seeing how I can’t get out much anymore, I live vicariously through your videos. I actually feel like I’ve been outdoors after watching. Love them, keep it up. Enjoyed seeing all the chicken, they were beautiful.
Thanks for taking us to the chicken show! I live near cackle hatchery in Lebanon MO. I get to see all the chicks. There is also a cackle identification group on facebook that is interesting. Mary Carl has fancy birds. I just have back yard varieties. I've tried to get a variety of egg colors, but don't have any greens or blues yet. I like the dark browns that the French black & black copper marans lay.
Mary Carl is like my Grandfather who was born 1898. He loved raising unusual breeds of chickens. In the decades of 1910 to 1928 he developed unusual chicken breeds. He had poultry shows to see his fancy breeds. He said he had to get another livelihood when the Great Depression in America desended on America.
Wow I have learned and still learning about the different chickens which are beautiful to say the least it makes you really appreciate God's creations just amazing... great family channel to watch!!!
Those were some gorgeous chickens! You showed one and I thought it was the prettiest, then you showed another, and I thought that was the prettiest. What fun for MaryCarl to now have a pair of hook bills and hopefully will get some eggs to hatch. Thank y'all for taking us along!
