I had low fps on my 4090. Found a Steam Comminity thread that talked about disabling Low Latency Mode in Nvidia Control Panel. It worked. At least for me
I have the gamepass version and it actually runs way better than I thought it would at 1080p high settings on my 2070 laptop. My laptop is old and slow yet this game is still running over 60 on high settings.
Just rolled back and got some performance back, I though later on in the game was more demanding but game is performing back to where it was before, TY!
Also rolling back made “failed to allocate video memory” crash on my setup non existent so if anyone struggles with it try to use previous drivers (I have Rtx 2060 6gb)
ah interesting, i noticed issues with frame gen but then used Special K, running the game through that helped smooth things out as well and i'm still on latest drivers 566.36
Thanks! I had this issue spent ages fixing it. In the end locked it to 90fps and it was okay. But need an update from nvidia I guess. Had same issues in forza motorsport as well
Game ran perfectly the first two days on the game pass version PC. 4090/7800X3D. Maxed out, vsync on and locked to 120 FPS which is the refresh of my TV. I also was shocked to suddenly find frame pacing issues. I can only cure it by resetting display/visual settings to default. Max out the game again, 120 FPS, vsync on and DLSS quality, no frame gen. You will notice all RT is greyed out but still on apart from path tracing which is off. They game now runs great and smooth again. You need to reset the game and reload the game for the settings to take effect. I thought it was a Windows driver issue as I don't recall updating my Nvidia drivers? It kills the game and the frame pacing is poor. Turning off all RT also cures the frame pacing issues.
Thank you! I also had the same thing with my AMD graphics card. For me limiting the fps definitely helped and also setting the Texture pool size to medium made it a lot smoother. (Everything else is still on ultra)
@@TerraWare I have a 6900xt. I don‘t know why exactly it is working better now, but the texture pool size also seems to be important. Framerate was good with it being on ultra but frame pacing was very bad. But I have only tried in the jungle area this far.
It’s DLSS that’s borked on latest driver , run it with native TAA and without frame gen and the frame pacing and stuttering goes away.... of course it needs a patch or like you said roll back. I,m waiting for patch
From my past testing(Me playing through the game a fair bit a few days ago lmao), it seems like these issues are more prevalent after I swapped to an X3D CPU, which is strange as I went from a 5700x to a 5700X3D.
It's not the drivers, or at least it is not on an RTX 4070 super where running at max RT with medium frame buffer produces a nearly flat frame time graph. Tested a few seconds ago on the game pass version with the latest Nvidia drivers.
You just earned a subscriber :) WIth the latest Nvidia drivers I now have constant crashing on Wukong, Stalker 2 (crashes while compiling shaders) and Indy would just crash randomly every 5-10 minutes. I'm now downloading the drivers you mentioned and will try all these games! My configuration: Zotac 4090, i9 14900K, 64 GB RAM. I heard Indiana Jones is much more stable on Steam than on the GamePass (for some odd reason the Destkop shortcut is in Japanese kanji, lol). I reversed back to the drivers you adviced and frame rate was definitely better but it crashed anyway after 5-6 minutes. I guess I'll have to just buy the Steam version since it's a week I'm having these crashes. Ughhh! Thank you anyway!
Lastest Driver issues I experience on Gamepass version: 1. if VSYNC is activated in Nvidia control panel = fps cut in half ingame + stutters/CPU bottleneck. (vsync ingame: doesnt work and doesnt impact performance if on or off) 2. If Low Latency in Nvidia control panel is on or ultra = same issue as vsync. No Low latency boost offer ingame yet. 3. HDR vs FG ingame: if you activate HDR ingame settings it will work well but you wont be able to use Frame Gen (search issue with Doom eternal back in the days). My settings and setup to enjoy the game until fix: 13900k/4090/LG CX 65" Nvidia control panel: - Vsync: OFF - Low Latency: OFF ingame settings: - Windows borderless (fullscreen isn't there but it will be anyways in fullscreen because windows borderless doesn't work even if is set...lol) - 3840x2160 - HDR: on - Vsync: doesnt matter it doesnt work or affect performances except sometimes I'll get over 120fps and have screen tearing) - Graphics: max - Full RT - DLSS: Quality - FG: OFF (Won't work anyways if ON because of HDR)
@SC.KINGDOM Yeah bro, someone who have a 4k monitor or tv would like to play in 4k make no sense... I think your comment is the stupidest thing I ever read in my life. Get lost dude! XD
What's annoying is that drivers 566.36 is really good for STALKER 2, resolving a lot of the stuttering issues I had with the game but is apparently not good for Indy.
There's a flickering that appears in the pause menu and then tranfers to gameplay. Kind of a same thing started happening in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, except it happens in the gameplay without going to pause menu. I think 566.36 is the cause.
Thanks for this video, I've been dealing with the performance issues of this game for several hours now. I have a 4080Super and when I activate FG it seems to do the opposite. For now I'm using the settings that set NVIDIA APP to Supreme DLLS Performance, without PT, without FG and I get acceptable gameplay, although I would like to use PT and FG PS: I'm using the GamePass version
Im also using gamepass version on my 4070 ti super. DLSS balaned and FG had my usage at 60%. Turned off frame gen and then toggling v-sync fixed it and usage went to 100% It still pacing issues like the steam version
4070 ti, I set pool to ultra, ultra everything else, DLAA, frame gen no path tracing to smooth it out once I got to sukhothai. Well over 120 fps and 155+ in tombs… the issue with that is my refresh is 144 so still not perfect settings for all areas 😑
I've been going crazy with this issue on the game pass version. The only way to get it to run smooth on 566.36 was to fully lock the fps and also the 0.1% lows. The game is unplayable with judder. Will rollback the drivers yesterday and give it a go.
In my case it is the other way around, I was using 566.14 and I had those pacing problems then I changed to 566.36 and now the game runs perfectly (Game Pass Version)
In my case, I went from having 55-70 fps in dlss balanced with frame pacing issues to 90 fps with great performance in dlss quality in 1440p with a 4070 super and 12700. You made my game run as intended. Thank you so much (sadly I fixed it only at the end of chapter 2, but it is not too late though)
@@TerraWare Depends on whether you like the game a lot or not. I was able to go through it with this issue and now that you helped fix it I am in heaven and do not need more. But as you got a 4090 (still not a 4090 super), you may wait!
Got frame drops from time to time. Restarting the game is the fix, but I don't want to restart the game every hour or less. Got flickering entering the pause menu, that transfers to gameplay. Guess what ... Restarting the game is the fix. Flickering also started to appear in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Got somewhat decent performance (80+ fps) on following settings: 1440p max setting (texture pool - medium, if set to anything higher = unplayable), PT max setting, DLSS Q + FG. Config: R7 5800x3d + 4070 eagle oc + tuf gaming b550m-plus + 2x16gb 3200 MHz + 1tb M.2 ssd. Don't remember having these problems with 566.14. Think 566.36 is the real problem here!
Indiana Jones The Great Circle title using AMD GPU silicon boosted with AMD AFMF frame generation technology results in major stuttering issue as poorly optimised.Yet ,the Game is stable when native GPU setting applied with frame generation off.
thank you, it worked ! Only problem I am having right now is finding a sweet spot in the config to lock 60 fps while using path tracing with the 3080ti. Do you also get the sound muffled on the right sound ? Im on a stereo setup and character voices and sfx coming from the right sound almost at 20% volume
No I haven't had any sound issues. Tried PT on my 3080Ti though at 1440P with Texture pool on Ultra DLSS Q with PT maxed out its difficult to hit 60, was in the 50s. Probably drop full RT to medium should work ok
I knew there was something wrong! I even thought my screen wasn't set to 165Hz and it felt like 30fps even though it was saying 60-80fps. huge thumbs up!

Thanks so much for the Vid. I'm going to roll back and try this. I have the GamePass version and almost decided to delete it and buy it on steam instead because its so unenjoyable.
They both have the issue but Nvidia dropped a driver hotfix addressing this. 566.45 I made a post about it with a download link or you can find it on their website. I've been using it, it does fix this issue but you can check part 2 of this video for a different solution that doesn't involve any rolling back or look at the comment I have pinned. It works.
@@TerraWare Thanks.. I just tried the Hotfix driver.. it helped a bit but didnt fix it for me. I tried locking my fps to 120 which the game easily is siting at so it cant be my card. @@markanthony5531 Well you could maybe be running out of vram if that is the case. What resolution are you playing at? Lowering Texture Pool Size may help if you are hitting vram limitations with Full RT it could be possible.
@@TerraWare True.. I usually play on my 4K ultrawide and dont really have much issues with other games. With Black Op 6 for example I can max out 4K ultrawide with frame generation Ai and get about 110 fps no lag. I guess Indiana is more demanding or their frame generation isnt as fluent in this game. Ill try and lower and fiddle with some settings some more.. Thanks!
my suggestion would be to check nvidia profile inspector. AFAIK profile changes nvidia makes for certain games would be reflected there, so you should be able to then either revert those changes or just delete the profile to run the game with the 'stock' config.
I did play around with it for a bit. Tried to delete the profile changes but things didn't change. I've also heard the changes could potentially revert after a PC restart but am not sure.
@@TerraWare well thats annoying! okay few more ideas: based on your footage the varied frametimes are coming from a CPU bottleneck, as your GPU isn't quite fully loaded in those scenes (Path tracing will have a CPU cost too, maybe the ceiling with PT on a 7800x3d is around 80fps). makes sense the jungle scene would be GPU limited too as foliage heavy scenes are typically GPU intensive in any game engine. You might be able to help this a little by enabling low latency mode, or prefer max performance in NVCP (basically force your GPU to max clocks all the time, good in CPU limited senarios where it may downlock when waiting, somtimes causing frametime spikes when it has to clock back up when the CPU is done). Also maybe just play with DLAA and FG, which will shift the load back onto the GPU. the last option is just using RTSS or Special K to put an abritary frame cap in place, looks like without FG an 80fps frame cap might do the trick based on your footage, or maybe 100/120 with DLAA+FG.
I dont have access to frame gen or any of the RT settings Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I am using the 4060ti on the GamePass version of the game. I tried 566.36 and 566.14

I've been having exactly the same issue on amd. RX 6800 XT. Turning off vrr or freesync seems to help for the most part but it can still be a little choppy here and there.
Of course I had the same problem but I thought my 12gb vram was a problem so when I turned off path tracing it was all ok,no problems. So with old driver I can run path tracing now?Interesting
New to your channel. I think I’m on an older driver. Is there a way to select which driver you install? The Nvidia software just always wants to install the latest.
Thanis for this. I thought that I was going crazy when my gamepass version started suddenly to stutter like hell. I had a week okd W11 install and I tried everything else except rolling Back drivers becouse game ran perfectly fine with those drivers a day before so how could anyone suspect drivers. It is good to know that these kind of "shadow updates" do take place on the drivers side.
Yeah that was my experience too. Steam had pacing issues and GP did not on the same 566.36 driver and than a day or two later GP started having same issues so putting this and what I found out on Twitter together makes me think its some sort of a driver profile related thing.
No it still happens but check pinned comment if you want a quick easy way to fix it without having to update the drivers. Ill be uploading a part two showing this as well later today.
It appears to be a driver issue at least from what I can tell and presented here. The game ran pretty smooth on my 7900XTX and runs pretty smooth on the previous Nvidia driver as I show in the video.
Turns out the Latest Nvidia app is causing frame pacing issues with UE5 games I have noticed worse performance in Black Myth as posted below Yet another annoying issue on Nvidia fgs
I've been playing with a 60fps lock because higher FPS and Gsync cause major VRR flicker on OLED displays. Guess that's why I never noticed this issue. I was surprised when I saw this video cuz I was like what issues?? Lol
Ultra low latency halves my fps. Swt it to on, rathwr than ultra and set vsync to triple ingame. If using frame gen or fg mod, set vsync ro on in nv panel.
If you intend to use (Frame Generation) make sure to go to control panel , manage 3d settings , program settings, select indiana jones and put low latency mode on off this will reduce the stutters (frame generation and low latency dont work well togheter in every game engine).
Chipset's up to date but those stutters are completely gone on the previous driver and they don't happen on my 7900XTX either so cant really be a CPU related issue.
Do you also have super high input lag? It's annoying me as heck lol 😂 But I guess that's something with idTech and how it uses present from compute or something like that 🤷♂ I even disabled mouse smoothing in config ini, ultra low latency mode is on Ultra in Nvidia app, I also turned off Vsync.. it still feels wonky.. it's more laggy than a game with frame gen on.. lol Edit: just a quick question 🤔 I noticed your render/output res in Performance metrics is 21:9.(3440x1440, etc). but the video appears to be displaying the game at 16:9 😲 Is it cropped or am I missing something? 🧐 Edit2: I think the in-game fps limiter has poor frame pacing.. it's all over the place, it even induces VRR flicker on my AW3225QF so I use RTSS
I've seen a few comments complaining about lag. I've been using a controller and am not the most sensitive to a bit higher input lag personally but yeah there's others pointing this out, something must be going on. As for the video yes I've editted my ultrawide footage to fit in a 16:9 (4K/60) format, it's whats most presentable.
No surprises to me, I thought the game wasn't running well even when I had high FPS Had issues with some other games also on my 4080 Super, was really winding me up🤣 So just put my 7900XTX back in and that's how i've been playing indiana Jones at Native TAA 4K Maxed and it's smooth like butter on AMD drivers Not to mention running out of vram, no Ray reconstruction to help reduce vram either Immersion breaking ain't even the word for mel LOL I was also trying to play black myth without those horrible stutters and it wasn't possible when enable FG or path just a waste of time tbh I just find i've been wasting too much time on Nvidia trying to fix problems over actually playing the games so that's it for me atm, going back to AMD lol Add Stalker 2 to the list as well with those big fps drops, I'm expecting issues in every game atm with Nvidia drivers and it's not funny
This game is unplayable and I have a 4090 and 7950x3d Another instance of not trusting journalists because their reporting on performance has been terribly dishonest
@@fifty2eighty248 I have been watching many people play the game without issues. If you're experiencing issues, it doesn't mean everyone else is dishonest when their game is working fine. Use your head.

Make sure to disable Ultra Low Latency mode in the driver. it massively degrades performance in this game. I got another issue making the FPS drop to 10 FPS every few seconds when Frame Generation was enabled. The solution was to delete the Game Profile in both the new and the old Nvidia App. I added the game manually on release to try out some driver settings as i was getting massive VRR flicker on my oled. but after deleting those profiles, frame gen now works without stutters and the framepacing is fine and also vrr flicker is gone (at least with FG on)

I had low fps on my 4090. Found a Steam Comminity thread that talked about disabling Low Latency Mode in Nvidia Control Panel.
It worked. At least for me
This is for sure a clear instance of "coffee was empty".
Thank you!!!! Now Im playing with my 4070ti super with Path Tracing ( without RT reflection) at 70fps 4k Dlss Balanced. Its amazing
Thank fook i have a back catalogue. takes about 6 months before i get around to new releases.
Before starting the game In nvidia control panel try to change gsync from auto to always on and give it a try.
i would have never thought that drivers could make such huge differences.
Thanks! I had this issue spent ages fixing it. In the end locked it to 90fps and it was okay. But need an update from nvidia I guess. Had same issues in forza motorsport as well
Interesting. I was playing a bit of Forza last couple of days. It ran fine for me.
The only AMD card I have tested so far in this game is my 7900XTX. It was buttery smooth. I did a video on it earlier in the week.
You can use river tuner to lock the frame rate as well
You can. I mentioned that as one of the options. Its a pretty good one I use it a lot too.
It's not the drivers, or at least it is not on an RTX 4070 super where running at max RT with medium frame buffer produces a nearly flat frame time graph. Tested a few seconds ago on the game pass version with the latest Nvidia drivers.
You just earned a subscriber :)
WIth the latest Nvidia drivers I now have constant crashing on Wukong, Stalker 2 (crashes while compiling shaders) and Indy would just crash randomly every 5-10 minutes.
@@FabrizioBortolussi can you share your review now .. after rollback to different driver and which version are you using?
Lastest Driver issues I experience on Gamepass version:
1. if VSYNC is activated in Nvidia control panel = fps cut in half ingame + stutters/CPU bottleneck.
(vsync ingame: doesnt work and doesnt impact performance if on or off)
My settings and setup to enjoy the game until fix:
13900k/4090/LG CX 65"
Nvidia control panel:
- Vsync: OFF
- Low Latency: OFF
ingame settings:
- Windows borderless (fullscreen isn't there but it will be anyways in fullscreen because windows borderless doesn't work even if is set...lol)
- 3840x2160
- HDR: on
- Vsync: doesnt matter it doesnt work or affect performances except sometimes I'll get over 120fps and have screen tearing)
- Graphics: max
- Full RT
- DLSS: Quality
- FG: OFF (Won't work anyways if ON because of HDR)
4k 😂 What a stupid choice. My pc is 7000 USD why would one play 4k I don't understand 🤔

@@MeanMachineRAF Very good build 👏 I apologise
Hello. Thanks for the video. Do you also have the stutter when the game autosaves? Thanks
Yeah it's normal and can't be avoided at the moment.
@@NeovanGoth thanks. It kinda sucks
Have the same issue with rx6800xt, very strange
Did rollback worked for You?
What's annoying is that drivers 566.36 is really good for STALKER 2, resolving a lot of the stuttering issues I had with the game but is apparently not good for Indy.
There's a flickering that appears in the pause menu and then tranfers to gameplay. Kind of a same thing started happening in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, except it happens in the gameplay without going to pause menu.
I think 566.36 is the cause.
Solved the issue for me. Thanks!
I enabled dlss and it got rid of the frame pacing issues for me . Hope nvidia fix this soon . Great vid cheers
Thanks for this video, I've been dealing with the performance issues of this game for several hours now. I have a 4080Super and when I activate FG it seems to do the opposite. For now I'm using the settings that set NVIDIA APP to Supreme DLLS Performance, without PT, without FG and I get acceptable gameplay, although I would like to use PT and FG
PS: I'm using the GamePass version
Im also using gamepass version on my 4070 ti super.
DLSS balaned and FG had my usage at 60%.
Turned off frame gen and then toggling v-sync fixed it and usage went to 100%
It still pacing issues like the steam version
4070 ti, I set pool to ultra, ultra everything else, DLAA, frame gen no path tracing to smooth it out once I got to sukhothai. Well over 120 fps and 155+ in tombs… the issue with that is my refresh is 144 so still not perfect settings for all areas 😑
I used full path for game prior to sukhothai, but that regen started maxing my gpu and shadows were going nuts on trees
I've been going crazy with this issue on the game pass version. The only way to get it to run smooth on 566.36 was to fully lock the fps and also the 0.1% lows. The game is unplayable with judder. Will rollback the drivers yesterday and give it a go.
Feel free to share your thoughts, experience and any suggestions you may have. Thank you.
I love to see Intel b580 undervolt
In my case it is the other way around, I was using 566.14 and I had those pacing problems then I changed to 566.36 and now the game runs perfectly (Game Pass Version)
In my case, I went from having 55-70 fps in dlss balanced with frame pacing issues to 90 fps with great performance in dlss quality in 1440p with a 4070 super and 12700. You made my game run as intended. Thank you so much (sadly I fixed it only at the end of chapter 2, but it is not too late though)
@@lucasperez-lozanaalonso3107 I'm debating on waiting to play through it once we get another update or two and ray reconstruction.
@@TerraWare Depends on whether you like the game a lot or not. I was able to go through it with this issue and now that you helped fix it I am in heaven and do not need more. But as you got a 4090 (still not a 4090 super), you may wait!
so the game ready driver is worse than the one before got it
Got frame drops from time to time. Restarting the game is the fix, but I don't want to restart the game every hour or less. Got flickering entering the pause menu, that transfers to gameplay. Guess what ... Restarting the game is the fix. Flickering also started to appear in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
Got somewhat decent performance (80+ fps) on following settings:
1440p max setting (texture pool - medium, if set to anything higher = unplayable), PT max setting, DLSS Q + FG.
Config:
R7 5800x3d + 4070 eagle oc + tuf gaming b550m-plus + 2x16gb 3200 MHz + 1tb M.2 ssd.
Don't remember having these problems with 566.14. Think 566.36 is the real problem here!
Can confirm. DDU'd the .36, installed .14. Game became smooth.
Running through SpecialK also fixed it for me.
Holy hell thank you man. This game has been great but I cant do microstutters. Cheers!
I knew there was something wrong! I even thought my screen wasn't set to 165Hz and it felt like 30fps even though it was saying 60-80fps. huge thumbs up!

I have fhe gamepass version and it has issues alot of screen tearing in cutscenes with FG on and alot of stuttering have to consistently go into setting and change them as im plaging rhe game
This started to happen to me when i updated to 24h2, before that was running like butter.
I have a rtx 4070 super but its hard to tell what exact settings run optimally as the xbox version of the game wont even show up in Nvidia App. How do I find the Nvidia Inspector Profile ?
Hi, silly question but how do I roll back the driver? Having this same issue and just built my pc. Thanks
I think 24H2 the problem. Runs fine with latest driver 23H2 rtx 4090 and 5800x 3d

@@allofyourdreams Thanks. For frame generation, make sure you have hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling enabled. For some reason, mine was disabled. Anyway, that fixed it for me.
I've been having exactly the same issue on amd. RX 6800 XT. Turning off vrr or freesync seems to help for the most part but it can still be a little choppy here and there.
Interesting. You are the second person to mention stutter with 6800XT. May have to take a look at mine.
Are you using 24.12.1?
Try AMD Clean Up then install 24.8.1
Of course I had the same problem but I thought my 12gb vram was a problem so when I turned off path tracing it was all ok,no problems. So with old driver I can run path tracing now?Interesting
Try Windows 22H2 and for AMD GPU Users try 24.8.1 Driver as well.
Mine started lagging with fram gen. But as working for a day or two and suddenly , boom
Thanks for this.
New to your channel. I think I’m on an older driver. Is there a way to select which driver you install? The Nvidia software just always wants to install the latest.
I don't think you can select an older driver through the Nvidia App but you can download previous versions of the driver from Nvidia's website
in Egypt chapter even locking the frame at 60 doesn't help
Thanis for this. I thought that I was going crazy when my gamepass version started suddenly to stutter like hell. I had a week okd W11 install and I tried everything else except rolling Back drivers becouse game ran perfectly fine with those drivers a day before so how could anyone suspect drivers. It is good to know that these kind of "shadow updates" do take place on the drivers side.
Yeah that was my experience too. Steam had pacing issues and GP did not on the same 566.36 driver and than a day or two later GP started having same issues so putting this and what I found out on Twitter together makes me think its some sort of a driver profile related thing.
i had smth like this
i think i fixed it by turning on Vsync in nvidia app settings
but im not sure if it works as it should lol
Does the new patch fix this issue with the latest driver?
No it still happens but check pinned comment if you want a quick easy way to fix it without having to update the drivers. Ill be uploading a part two showing this as well later today.
is this an Nivida only issue)?Im playing on AMD GPU and CPU and dont have any issues, its buttery smoothe at 110+ fps in ultrawide
It appears to be a driver issue at least from what I can tell and presented here. The game ran pretty smooth on my 7900XTX and runs pretty smooth on the previous Nvidia driver as I show in the video.
How is amd even relevant? Amd doesnt even have the full rt option in this game
With 566.36 ,Gamepass versión run like butter
I gave up on trying to find what was causing this…
What software are you using to measure the frame-pacing?
MSI Afterburner
Turns out the Latest Nvidia app is causing frame pacing issues with UE5 games
I have noticed worse performance in Black Myth as posted below
Yet another annoying issue on Nvidia fgs
Only way to make fg n hdr work together is by locking the fps..need to lock it below 0.1% low
@@BT_01 How did you do it? Could you explain which game options you modified?
I've been playing with a 60fps lock because higher FPS and Gsync cause major VRR flicker on OLED displays. Guess that's why I never noticed this issue. I was surprised when I saw this video cuz I was like what issues?? Lol
so, what now? i am not rolling back the drivers... cant be bothered to tinker with that. how do we raise awareness to the developers/nvidia?
Devs are already aware and working on a fix that's going to come this coming week
@leodaweeb6969 ok cool
Ultra low latency halves my fps. Swt it to on, rathwr than ultra and set vsync to triple ingame. If using frame gen or fg mod, set vsync ro on in nv panel.
Another issue they should fix is HDR only working in windowed mode
This game doesn’t have a Fullscreen does it? It’s just borderless or windowed
@@asdtyuv The Steam version has Fullscreen as well as Borderless and Window. Game Pass only has Borderless Window and Window
24h2 and nvidia new app and driver are the problem and tbh this driver make every game has frame pacing issue not just indiana game
So, i had this problem. And it was super simple to fix.
Just Turn off the DLSS,, DONT USE.
For me it worked
960p with a 4090!! Damn!!!
The stutters are annoying but the games great though like a interactive movie.
If you intend to use (Frame Generation) make sure to go to control panel , manage 3d settings , program settings, select indiana jones and put low latency mode on off this will reduce the stutters (frame generation and low latency dont work well togheter in every game engine).
the stutter is so frustrating
There are always a bit of stuttering... did you try updating amd chipset driver?
Chipset's up to date but those stutters are completely gone on the previous driver and they don't happen on my 7900XTX either so cant really be a CPU related issue.
Do you also have super high input lag? It's annoying me as heck lol 😂 But I guess that's something with idTech and how it uses present from compute or something like that 🤷♂ I even disabled mouse smoothing in config ini, ultra low latency mode is on Ultra in Nvidia app, I also turned off Vsync.. it still feels wonky.. it's more laggy than a game with frame gen on.. lol
Edit: just a quick question 🤔 I noticed your render/output res in Performance metrics is 21:9.(3440x1440, etc). but the video appears to be displaying the game at 16:9 😲 Is it cropped or am I missing something? 🧐
Edit2: I think the in-game fps limiter has poor frame pacing.. it's all over the place, it even induces VRR flicker on my AW3225QF so I use RTSS
@@TerraWare ah thanks for the info and clarification! keep up the great work, hope your channel grows 😉

and nvidia wont fix it until next month lol
No surprises to me, I thought the game wasn't running well even when I had high FPS
Had issues with some other games also on my 4080 Super, was really winding me up🤣
So just put my 7900XTX back in and that's how i've been playing indiana Jones at Native TAA 4K Maxed and it's smooth like butter on AMD drivers
Not to mention running out of vram, no Ray reconstruction to help reduce vram either
Immersion breaking ain't even the word for mel LOL
I was also trying to play black myth without those horrible stutters and it wasn't possible when enable FG or path just a waste of time tbh
I just find i've been wasting too much time on Nvidia trying to fix problems over actually playing the games so that's it for me atm, going back to AMD lol
Add Stalker 2 to the list as well with those big fps drops, I'm expecting issues in every game atm with Nvidia drivers and it's not funny
