you know a player has an extremely high ceiling when you say his floor is Jonathan Toews. It seems that people have forgotten that Toews (3 time Stanley Cup champion, Conne Smythe) arguably the best player on those championship teams, was regarded at his peak along with Crosby as the best all-around player in the NHL

Not this year sadly, but he’s already reported to be refusing an extension and should be crossing over for 2025-26.

If the Sharks pick 2nd, do they go with Demidov or someone else? I love the player, but are there any concerns? I don't think i've seen any mock draft where the Sharks pick Demidov, including drafts where they pick #2 or #3.

I feel like Utah is guaranteed to get Celebrini, just because never moving up and never picking first until just weeks after the team relocates would be the most Arizona Coyotes thing ever. But I hope it's the Sharks.
Should Demidov injuries, he has sustained this year affect his draft ranking. Does it not scare you guys at all, because I thought they were knee injuries.

His most recent knee injury won't require surgery, and early reports state that he may be skating before the Draft. Overall, he's a smaller player who's extremely willing to protect the puck, so possible knee injuries may be a bit of a concern especially as he goes up against stronger and smarter players in the corners.
One knee injury and one foot injury (he was wearing a boot, so not the knee the second time). We’re not too worried about it - he’s got the puck so often at the MHL level that it’s inevitable he gets targeted. As he progresses, gets more comfortable evading checks, and is surrounded by better players, he won’t be as vulnerable to bad hits.
@@LockedOnNHLProspects how do you think his game translates to the NHL, and how quickly do you think he would be playing in the NHL. He might need a few years in the minors if he comes over straight from the MHL

There’s no consensus at #2, both Demidov and Levshunov are likely candidates for that spot
My point is that the beginning you said there are 3 lottery picks but there is only 2 draws
