Millie you need to come to the south and go camping with us in the mountains. It’s dark and you hear all kinds of noises in the night. After a couple weeks in the woods camping you’ll not have so much fear.

You know, I was thinking the same thing! I’m not usually a gun person, but this video makes a great point for having one.
OR, moron, people can simply use the _weapon_ they are driving! 2,000 lbs+ can break bones and rend flesh quite easily.
If she had pulled a gun on 5 men, she would have been killed instead of just robbed.
Don't even need a license to have a sidearm in your vehicle since its considered your property. In my state at least.
As an American we know not to stop for a body in the street unless you have a 2nd Amendment 🤫 in your car or multiple people. It could be an ambush. That also depends where you are too. We would call the police 🚔.
Unfortunately, Denise Marcus is one thousand per cent correct. Our country has become so violence-prone. If we see someone in apparent distress we call authorities--unless we witnessed said event--then we may stop and help. It is very different from other countries I have been to.
Lets not also forget that if you try and help and you accidentally hurt them you'll get sued. So now we do the bare minimum to avoid liability.
In the first video, I'm not sure I would have even slowed down. Anyone stupid enough to ambush a vehicle risk being plowed down, and I would have hit the gas and charged the clown.
Yeah my immediate thought was there could be others lurking in the dark and she's just the bait. IT'S A TRAP! But of course we don't always assume someone's out to get you. And i'm guessing he'll have took a bit of a look around to make sure it at least looks safe. And of course put on the sirens so if there is anyone, they know its a cop. And he may have also mentioned it on the radio before getting out also.
I came on a wreck scene in the Adirondacks back in 1979. The girl driving had been ejected or stumbled out and died on the shoulder of a nearly untraveled stretch of dirt road I used as a shortcut.
I had closed up the bar and was driving home. Nasty icy January nearing three am and well below zero F.
I got out and checked in the hope that I could maybe help. She was already long gone.
I set flares and went back to the bar to phone the state troopers then went back to make sure they found the accident.
One of the troopers told me a few weeks later that the time of death was before midnight when I was still working.
It's a different world now. You have to worry about highwaymen and whether you'll get sued for trying to keep someone alive. I can call the troopers without getting out of my vehicle so that's what would happen.

What got me in that clip was the shadow to the clowns right rises up from the pavement, but then goes back down when the car reverses. I kinda thought of an ambush, but when the car drives by, the shadow seems paranormal.

You guys are so adorable!!! At least, watching these types of videos teach us valuable lessons as what or what not to do. As for clowns, sorry but I would attempt to run them over if they ran towards my car. LOL

I remember one night around 3 am I was leaving my girlfriends house and driving back home. I only lived a few miles away but while I was driving I came to a sudden stop because there was an old lady in the middle of the road with a blanket over her head and pushing a shopping cart. It wouldn't be strange if this had happened in a city or somewhere well populated, but I lived in the middle of nowhere surrounded by miles and miles of corn fields. I remember calling my girlfriend after encountering this person in the middle of the road and she was freaking and saying that she had seen the same person a couple nights before.

3:25 In my opinion if you have a good vehicle like a truck or SUV, I will say get low and go full throttle through the roadblock. If you hit someone then it their own fault for being in the way. Going in reverse has a lot of danger as you have to stop for a second and then go in reverse. Also, its slower which make you an easier target.

The guys with the brief cases was found to actually be part of some promotion for like a album release or something like that.
My dad has a joke he plays with my mom while watching movies where he’ll cuddle up to my moms shoulder during “scary scenes”, I did the same with a friend of mine and she died laughing cause I did it while watching toy story. Millie leaning on you reminded me of that lol
Millie's reactions to the scary things happening were great.
I'm a cult survivor and I work with an NPO that offers help, guidance, resources, etc. to survivors or people trying to exit or families. I certainly can't speak on every cult out there, but the raincoats in the tall grass struck me as a few steps too far. That seemed more like a low budget film project than literally any cult I've got knowledge of. I could totally be wrong, but that's just sort of how movies tend to portray them not how most of them work in reality.
Yeah I agree that most cults are not like the movies at all. One example is the NXIVM cult. They were a sex trafficking cult and nothing like typical movie cults. Most cults are just people brainwashing other people and teaching them how to devote their whole lives to religion. However, it is the darker cults that u don’t know of because they stay hidden. For the reason in my last sentence, this video would make sense as a cult. If it was a movie, why would they all be running and why would the directors not come out and said it already?
It seemed to me to be like a group orientation, like for a fraternity or other social group, not quite hazing but similar
Yeah, that looked to me like either a hoax (the driver was in on the joke) or a prank. I mean, it's exactly the kind of prank I would have got up to when I was in high school and college. My best guess though is it's a hoax with the driver in on it, which does not preclude the involvement of high school or college kids.

In the US, the clown craze came to an abrupt end when several clowns got dogs turned out on them a quite a few got beatings!

When I was in high school my Dad, a friend and myself were returning home from the Friday Night Football Game. We were on a dark country road and all of a sudden in front of us all you could see was two glowing dots. Our friend was driving and he started slowing down. At first we couldn’t figure out what we were seeing. Finally when we got close enough we discovered it was a cow that had gotten out of their pen and was standing in the middle of the road. The glowing spots were caused from our headlights reflecting off its eyes. It was creepy at first and then hilarious.
A black or dark colored cow, bull, or steer can be very difficult to see at night.

These videos are so creepy. I've watched so many of them late at night, because I apparently don't like to sleep peacefully. The doorbell cam videos are super creepy too.
You don't stop...you run them over if you have to. Most of the time its just punks pulling pranks. But you never know when that one person in that one incident has a weapon and is off their rocker. As a former undercover operative I've seen a lot of weird shit. You can never stop and negotiate or talk to them....that's when it gets dangerous. Do you have any idea how many people come up missing in the United States every day?
I used to routinely drive home after work in the middle of the early am hours, through the countryside, seasonally in the fog to boot. Good thing I hadn’t seen this video back then...

The lady in the parking lot made two mistakes: 1 - she rolled down her window in a situation where she had no idea what the *five* guys around her are doing (talk about naive/ignorant!) ... 2 - instead of 'opening up' by rolling down her window, she should have started her car so she could get away quickly 'just in case' of necessity, which turned out to be the case!
Plus I would've honked my horn.
Seems she didn't realize they weren't harmless till they were up on her.
People: daylight doesn't neutralize bad people with bad intentions. Drug addicts, and seriously mentally ill aren't vampires.

People forget that they have a 1 ton weapon that can be used to kill. I always have my gun on me and had to use it one time when a man tried to carjack me. Common sense will also go a long way.

When you see the clown. You immediately reverse and then accelerate exponentially forward. Always works for me.
