We need a weapon type comparison video! There's almost no info available and I need to know which weapons I should be using. It feels like the faster attack speed weapons are the way to go
If a target is vulnerable to a certain type, how much more damage do you do? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to use weapons with lower impact but of a certain type vs a weapon with just higher impact
Can you at least tell us about gear in episodes 2 first before jumping up to episode 4 where people who work and don't have the time you have to play are at please.
Are the Hammerfist, the Bolas and the Great Hammer actual bis items for Hammermages (I'm one too), or did you just keep these because they were epic? If the latter is true, what's the bis weapons for Hammermages, if any at all? Struggling to decide on which ones to craft with Stonemason to give myself at least a nice rare set of weapons and shields for all episodes.
The obelisks in every act can be used at anytime on any gear ALWAYS . . . Take your eps 2 gear RIGHT NOW to eps 1 to the obelisk and come back to this comment and thank me later
@zometthecomet idk maybe I asked the question wrong. But when I go to obelisk wearing gear from episode 1 there is no option to allow it in episode 2 still have to grind a new armor set
It's got so many areas it hits the mark on, but the fact prior progression doesn't affect future "episode progression" completely destroys it. I love grinding but not when it's erased every new chapter... unfortunately I read the creators doubled down and are embracing this path. Idk how the OG RS creator could be so foolish....
Im confused on the factions. I chose Guardian/Nature magic. Are there certain weapons I should be looking out for to utilize that? I found a couple Hammermage only drops. But not any for Guardian yet. Or has it not been implemented?
Most of the faction stuff is not implemented yet. Main thing is that weapons with elements matching your profession (for Guardian: Arborae) will have a double activation chance, which lets you really leverage elemental advantage when you have it.
@@iGraphici I don't recall typing that you should craft a lvl 207 weapon with lvl 59 stonemason xD. but people will have lvl 500 stonemason before trading comes out and you can just buy the oranges they crraft every 10 lvls for a gold piece.
You can still get good gear and drops from monsters. But it’s far more consistent to get a rare item at your level by crafting. I haven’t seen epics from crafting yet, so monsters have that, but I’m expecting that will likely change as peoples stats go up. I assume I could be wrong. But yeah, it does make all the rares and below from monsters into money drops basically
WAit wait you're using things you got in Hopeport in these later areas? How would I do that? It says that these older weapons from previous chapters are weak in new areas
You attune them in the obelisk of the area you want to use them at. So you can just spam spars at the training area in Hopeport and any unattuned gear you can later take to an obelisk to bind them to the respective episode.
The sheer amount of people who have typed this is crazy😅 how are you guys getting to act 4 with out knowing this? Did you really grind out a whole new set every time ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
so level of the item has no worth? so my level 16 legendary staff has better stats than a level 32 blue, but its still better? i thought atleast base damage for higher level gear would be a thing. i guess its not?
Another later on weapon thing. Im staying f2p until I've had my fill of the first two zones, and keeping weapons current has been a recurring issue. Weaponcrafting is a known solution, but the armory is EXTREMELY appealing. It's a shame that a version of this isn't on the hopeport quartermaster.
IMO that's their biggest mistake.. Locking useful stuff behind paywall. Fishing, Cooking, Carpentry has made me feel like everything I do is meaningless. If they had Blacksmithing in ep1 or ep2 and paywall high end resources in other episodes it would hook a lot more players.. But instead we got professions that feel totally useless and leaves bad impression.. I hate carpentry with passion... Making unusable useless items for 8h straight..

You can take any untuned gear to the obelisk in any area to use it in that chapter. You can farm the gear in one chapter, tune it at an obelisk in another chapter, and use it there.
@@SirMoribund You CANNOT "untune" already tuned gear, permanently locking that piece of gear to a specific chapter. So yes, you quite literally need to have a set of gear for each chapter. Being able to tune an untuned chapter 4 gear piece to any chapter is great, but you still need to repeat that x amount of times for each zone.
@@Skylarkcpt according to andrew gower that is what you are supposed to do. "Therefore, we have designed Brighter Shores in a different way. Instead, it is relatively easy to progress to each new episode (breadth), but even when you have reached the latest episode you are nowhere near finished. Instead, you can at any time choose any of the episodes you have unlocked and continue to level up further in that episode (depth). Each episode also has harder 'side quests' for this purpose. These side quests are intended for the players who want to put in more hours, and give a further reason to keep levelling up your professions in earlier episodes. "3) We obviously need to better communicate our 'breadth and depth' system.
