Fight Night Champion is a boxing video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fifth entry in the Fight Night series and was released on March 1, 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game takes a drastic turn from its predecessors, depicting a "grittier", "darker" setting with animations and player damage that "truly conveys the brutality of the sport of boxing." The violence and strong language in the game's story mode earned it a Mature rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board, the first and so far the only EA Sports title to do so.
The game was officially revealed on 7 July 2010 at an EA Sports studio showcase. The game is the first EA Sports game to feature a full Hollywood-inspired story mode, called Champion Mode. The story follows the career of Andre Bishop, a talented boxer, who is forced to overcome great setbacks including a prison sentence and a corrupt fight promoter. Champion Mode is intended to further convey the brutality and hardship of the sport of boxing.

But I will say even though you use tyson, you fight sim, and that's something you have to repect. Your not a spammer and you make it close to realistic, those are the type of people I like to fight in this game.

This game is 9 years old we’ve went from ps3 to ps4 to ps5 and we still don’t have a new boxing game
Look at the landscape of boxing at the time and years after the game came out. It was about as low it gets. I mean Eddie Chambers and Sergio Mora are in fight night for f#**s sake. No disrespect to them but that shows you were boxing was at. Mayweather was the only name that EA could’ve used to push a new FN but he declined any involvement in FNC. Now is a much better time for a new game.

Hey man. Don't normally comment on TH-cam. But I've been a fight night enthusiast sense the fight night started and my biggest flaw in playing champions is the fight night 3 effect. I was so used to jumping into a fight with Roy Jones and just freaking pounce on every opponent for 500 fights strait no matter the skill level my downfall and I took me a a decade to learn what i was doing wrong and I've been listening to you. I'm not throwing 700 punches a fight anymore. I throw about 2/3rds as many as I used to always working off counters. You gave me hope in this game after 13 years lol
Lx Darksniper makes videos to expose spammers but goes like 70 % of the time with the same blows and right directs like any other spammer x)

You guys should do DLH vs. SRL at welterweight, the fighter's are so close in abilites it allows your skills to shine through without being too dependent on tyson and marciano unique abilites that may give some an edge when practiced on it so much.

This what happens when guys rely on the slide 1pko ... when it gets neutralized, it shows up when a fighter knows how to keep the head off the center line, stick a jab as a tactic even if it doesnt score, land real combos . Real boxing! Props to snipe for never giving in tho. Kept his plan to the end and was tryna get the ko till the final bell

i just started playing this game and theres so many clowns out here...alot of boxers rated like 83 overall but have no record...how is that even possible? idk why people have to ruin the game like that....you beat them and then they disconnect and you dont get credit for the win and sometimes dont even get the experience like whats the point of playing? i mean really what do you get out of it? your boxer gets no better neither does the guy youre fighting so why even play? much of this game is fun but those peopel ruin the game or make it unfun by ninja logging or whatever they do and theres people that are rated like 80 and have 120 wins....like how is that possible also? i dont get it..and my guy cant seem to ever get up once hes been knocked down twice rarely ever but i knock other guys down 4 times and they still get up so idk how to improve that if theres a way ive lost so many fights by just shit ways...i mean im nto the best at the game but my record should be better than what it is wins i blew cutting a guy on both cheeks then all of a suidden he knocks me out wiht one shot like wheres my chin? my guy has a glass jaw ffs he gets ko'd steadyand i land so many power shots on other guys and seem like it does nothing i lost to a guy who never landed any power shots and i landed 45 and i got ko'd like wtf? this game makes no sense..its ok but minus all the cheaters. i should have at least 10 more wins then i do atm
If you add all the Athletic boost medals, the boxer will be 83 rated. They may also use xp packs. I have never used them personally

Yeah search TH-cam for EA Server fix. You have to start up a different game by EA. SSX snowboarding works. Then go back to FN.

I never understood the hype with LX Dark Sniper because he wasnt really that good IMO. Maybe xbox players arent as good as playstation players? i dont know but i have fought some really tough guys on playstation 3 that put in the work. I guess LX got exposed.
Lx is certainly a solid player I take nothing from him. I agree in terms of skill PlayStation players especially the sim ones are a lot better in terms of overall skill and just being well rounded. That’s also because the ones who still play are really dedicated. Don’t get me wrong I fought some really good Xbox players as well but yeah ps3 had/has the better players.
Played on Playstation for 2 years. Came to xbox this year and man it's night and day. I can back walk the hell out of a Playstation player but the same cannot be said about Xbox they are good at cutting you off. I mailed ali on Playstation and tried here but I end up staying in the middle of the ring cause range just doesn't work on these people.
