Very beautiful bottles, I love the tiny rabbits, elephant and cat you bought. I also love Indian artifacts very beautiful. What a wonderful day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
It was a great little show! Not many dealers, but the tables were filled with lots of great stuff! I love the "smalls" they take up very little space! 😁💖
Hi Bruce, Yes! That large beehive pepper sauce bottle was a steal for $35.. (but we didn't buy it, someone else (another dealer) did. I was too slow on that one, I'm afraid. -Cathy👋😃😎
Really wonderful to see all the amazing bottles! I'm going to rewatch to see this price on the Scranton bottle, I have several different variants. Am interested in seeing value out of town ❤❤❤
Hi Angela! 👋😃 I will check the original video clip to see if I can make out the price. I thought I was showing the prices, but the sun was so bright, the white price tags blew out! Good point. Out of town prices can go either way, due to rarity, desirability, or demand. We look at past eBay auctions to see what things actually sold for. (People can ask whatever price they want.. doesn't mean they will get it).
Thanks Cynthia, Believe it or not, I was looking at that Beck & Co bottle, from the same dealer, same show, last year!! Glad we got it! And it was a trade... Even better! 😃😎👍
Thank you for sharing , the glass animals are amazing! Well done on the trade getting 125$ bottle for your collection 👏. As always I enjoy your videos, stay safe and well👍
Hi Cathy and Drew, that was fun! I like the little glass animals and the cap gun, reminds me of my childhood lol. The Cologne bottle is beautiful, so elegant. Thanks for taking us with you 😀💗 x
Hi Amanda! I love those glass charms too! ( And I did NOT alread have the tiny metal binoculars). Very pleased with the cologne bottle too! We are managing to do things "between the rain drops" 🙄☔. Drew had to have a tooth out, our vacation week! He's doing better now. Hope all is well with you. -Cathy 💖
There's hardly any bottle shows around here at all. Going through the little things is always fun! Some very wanted bottles there! Thanks for sharing, see you on the next video...
Actually, we are driving an hour or more to go to these shows.. (same with the flea markets) but it's usually worth it. Our river is just minutes away, but it's too high now, from all the rain last couple of weeks. ☔🙄😎🚣
Hello Cathy & Drew. This was a nice video to watch and it was awesome to see all of the nice bottles and stuff you can buy there. I lked that blanket with all of the cobalt bottles on it and Lew did to. I saw all of the blue insulators on one table you were looking at bottles on. Some looked like they were Peacock blue and a rarer color. I saw a Narrow Gauge train book near the book you held that said Drinking Boston if I remember right? That Narrow guage rairoad is now part of the "T" subway coming from Revere mass and into the south Boston area. There is a old railroad bridge still exsisting of it and it holds a pipe line on it now and people fish on it to,,LOL I have always wanted to explore the railbed near that bridge for small rail spikes and artifacts but haven't yet. Lew and I hope to do more digging or mudlarking soon. It's either to hot or too much rain! He works a lot to. We hope to do something with you guys someday, digging bottles, or exploring the rivers banks. (Mud larking) Hope to hear from you soon and we wish good health and luck to the both of you! 🙂 ---Jeffrey Hull Jr, (Jeff & son Lew)
Hi Jeff & Lew, We know what you mean about the weather.. either too hot or raining. The river is so high now.. it will be a while before we can go out there again. We've been hitting the beaches lately. I guess I should have looked at that railroad book, at the show. It was probably not expensive. They had tons of RR and streetcar photos there too, I started to look at. We've always done well finding bottles and insulators near old RR bridges. I hope we can break this weather pattern soon. I don't mind the heat, but the rain is too much. We've had a lot going on anyway I guess... So maybe time to catch up on some stuff around here until conditions improve. Thanks always for watching and commenting! -Cathy & Drew 👋😃😎
@@massriverpickers Your welcome and hopefully the weather will get better. We like exploring around the RR lines and mostly the abandoned ones. Take care and talk to you soon.
Another great bottle show video. I liked how the milk bottles had styrofoam balls in them to see the ACL’s so nicely. Very beautiful old bottles and oddities from your part of the county. Very cool, thank you for taking us along. I loved the enthusiasm in that young man’s table you visited.👍👏😀
Hi There! Yes, another great bottle show.. glad to take you along! That enthusiastic young man has a metal detecting and bottle digging channel : Carson City Digs I probably should have bought that pepper sauce bottle on his table. We are seeing more young people getting into the hobby, thanks to TH-cam, I think. This rain has got to stop though! We are finally getting a break, for a few days. 🌞 Beach day tomorrow! 😃😎👍🏖️
I love the cologne bottle you picked up at the end. I collect them myself. That one is a beauty for sure. Congrats on the find. You always manage to come across tiny lil pieces. The cap gun and glass animals are awesome Cathy! Great video you two.
I'm very pleased with the cologne bottle! Nice of Drew to trade one of his bottles to get it for me! 😁💖😎 And I do love the tiny stuff! (About all I have room for now Lol)
Cathy, that Beck bottle is so elegant and there is something to the lip of that bottle that is very alluring. What an eye you have for zeroing in on that beauty. I loved the vintage doll card ephemera. I do remember a classmate bringing that set to school for show and tell. I had a cap gun when I was little but it was all black, the one you bought is so much more interesting than the black one I remember playing with. Thank you for including the other vendors details. This was a different bottle show video and I liked it! Other Vintage items were on display to bring up great memories of childhood days gone by.
Hi Rita! The Beck bottle isn't colorful, or fancy, but it's old style, and simple lines are beautiful! And it is a Boston bottle. We have both been collecting for decades, and haven't come across another like it. I wonder what ever happened to my vintage dolls of the world note cards? 🤔 I had/have a blue plastic toy gun, that shot plastic or rubber BB's. And I still have some caps, and my toy "bomb" to put them in, and drop straight down with a bang! This cap gun is a Marx miniature copy of an actual real "six shooter". Very realistic, except for the size. I try to show a variety of item I think our viewers might like (and especially the ones I like 😁) Glad you enjoyed the show. 💖
On the table with the cobalt blue glass I saw a small bottle with a eyecup on the end of it. I remember my parents had one in their medicine cabinet in the 1960's.
Wow, I didn't know that Wyeth med with the eye cup was still around in the 1960's! Those later ones, the eye cup is plastic... The older ones are glass (and are stoppers, not screw-tops). 1960's my parents had Brioski (in a cobalt bottle), Paregoric, and Hai Karate after shave in the cabinet. -Cathy 😁
Thanks for the info! Looks like different editions of the Clue game had different guns. (Quick internet research) Also, some other metal game tokens doubled as Cracker Jack prizes years ago (Monopoly : shoe, top hat, iron, cannons, etc). I have some other mini toy guns as well. I love old, mini, metal toys! -Cathy 👋😃😎
🎸 As I put my shirt up to my neck hole I salute your Cornholio Tee Cathy ! An old saying comes to mind - “ I want to party with you two” ! Which to me means that you and Drew and I have a lot in common 😊 Beer cans !! Finally some beer cans !! I knew there would eventually be beer cans ! I have every one of those cans except the last one you held up, which was an Acme flat top for $25 ,not a bad price indeed Drew I gotta shake your hand ….. You stepped up & made Cathy happy with that trade ya made - Real men do all we can to make our Ladies happy You Da Mahn DrewMeister !! Absolutely love this video. I’m going to watch it again tonight. I just went and visited mother in the nursing home - she’s actually making a very good adjustment so my prayers are answered !
Hi There! Glad to hear from ya! (When we didn't hear from you last week.. I hoped all was o.k.) and we have been praying too! 🙏 Thanks for the update! The Cornholio tee shirt is a fictional ad for "Cornholi O's cereal 🥣 with "free TP inside!" 🤣 I had complained to Drew how my great shirt was wasted on all the older people at the bottle show, who didn't get it. So thanks for appreciating my choice of attire! 😁 Humor is so important in this world... Life would be too hard without it. And YES, beer cans! The only one I actually remembered (from the 1970's) was the Billy Beer. The ACME reminded me of something the 3 Stooges might be hired ( briefly) to sell. (Or maybe it was the Acme escort service?🤔) Anyway, Glad ad you enjoyed the video! (As always, your comments were passed on to the DrewMeister! 😎👍) I so appreciate the cologne bottle he swapped for, but will have to wait for the next occasion to actually get it! (Probably Christmas). -Cathy 🙂💖
Oh I know all about being disappointed by people not noticing a T-shirt…. I went to Hootie & the Blowfish concert three summers ago and wore my brand new Kiss T-shirt. ( which is the cover from their first album ) no one said a word about it !! My buddy was like dude it’s a Hootie & the Blowfish concert. What do you expect? 😂 Btw - I spent last night watching a lot of your old videos and had a great time escaping reality …. I like the fact that both of you aren’t afraid to get a little all messy digging in the dirt. Those medals you found were really cool…. You were so proud. And tell the Drew Meister that I knew his reference when he said happy, happy joy, joy !!! Ren & Stimpy rule !!! Thank you both for the prayers …. As you know they help. 😢💕
Glad you are enjoying some of our older videos.. those medals were from the "mosquito dump" 🦟🦟🙄 We went back there recently, but no more medals. Still had fun finding bottles and odd stuff (a future vid.. don't know when it will go up yet). Drew always says you can tell how much fun I'm having by how dirty I am! 😄 ( I am not the neat one). And yes, Ren & Stimpy! Drew also said to tell you "Happy wife, happy life" haha. Going to the mucky beach tomorrow. Yay! Wish us luck. 🤞 Oh, and wearing that Kiss T-shirt to that concert.. maybe they just thought you were stoned, and didn't know what show you were at, so didn't say anything. 🥴 Haha (Just kidding). I remember what a big deal it was, when Kiss took off their makeup, for a press photo... many said "put it back on!" 🤣 Anyway, we will keep the prayers coming! Thank you for the updates. We care 🙏. -Cathy (& Drew) 👋😃😎👍
