After using an Epoxy to seal the wood, it is advised to use a two component varnish. This is our Poly-urethane Clear Gloss. In the video about two component varnishes this product is explained.
If the epoxy is well cured, cleaned and sanded, Rapidclear can be applied. Clean the epoxy well with Acetone and sand the surface with a 180 grit. Then it can work. However, optimally is always to seal an epoxy with a Poly-urethane.
I have some park benches that I stripped down and applied a penetrating epoxy sealer. Which varnish should I use to finish these benches?
