Exactly!!! Andy has professional integrity and respects Ronnie’s talent and contributions to music, but also he’s not a fair-weather friend! If he knows you’re actually a good guy, he’s not gonna stop being your friend bc other people don’t see that. He didn’t hop on a bandwagon for the sake of it and backstab his long-time friend and I respect the hell outta that. I already loved both of these guys before I knew they were friends, but knowing this now just makes me so happy!!! They’ve been two of my faves for so long and they both get so much unnecessary hate… I’m so glad they have each other to lean on and really get what each other are going through in this crazy industry, and this crazy world! It’s like the vibe of when middle or high school sucks and everybody’s out to get each other but you got that one friend that knows how you feel and you get each other through it.

I am getting a bit tired of people complaining about Ronnie. The "issue" with Ronnie is that he interacts with hate and is very confident in himself and will absolutely share his opinion. I personally don't have an issue with his outspoken personality, but I get that this kind of person is not everyone's favorite guy and that's fine. But please keep it to yourself and don't ruin the fun for everyone. Ronnie has done nothing wrong, he just speaks his mind and the amount of backlash he gets is comparison to the "issue" is just insane. They are now trying to cancel Andy for being on good terms with Ronnie, as if a lot of artists aren't on good terms with him!
Asking a band to cancel their shows because you personally don't like an individual they are touring with is actually insane.

@@Benlovescheesethere are plenty of people online that don't know Ronnie in real life making up fake claims on him and everyone just goes with it and believes it without even doing the research for themselves so I don't agree with you at all. Ronnie admits he screwed up in his past. No one is perfect. People online are pathetic id like to see them see him in person and say half of the crap they talk online about him they wouldn't because his haters are pathetic and need to get a life because they aren't perfect either. Leave the man alone he is just a human being like everyone else. I'm tired of it. I've been a fan of Ronnie since he started his career and I will always stick up for him. People need to grow up and spend less time being keyboard warriors and get a life. They also need to stop acting like they know him in real life because they don't.

The thing is, Ronnie constantly talks shit about other band members for literally NO REASON, but yet someone criticizes him in the slightest and he starts throwing a hissy fit. The issue with Ronnie isn’t that he has a “different opinion” it’s the fact that he spreads misinfo about trans people when it’s very clear that he knows nothing about the topic and hasn’t done any proper research. It’s literally like saying “2+2=7, but that’s just my opinion bro” like no, you’re just wrong.

Soooo... you'd rather have an artist not play at all and lose any chance of seeing them live than see them play with a band you don't like? Maybe just try not buying a ticket to the show, and you'll spare yourself this devastating moral conundrum. Glad to see Andy speaking up for himself. @@Milo-it1tf Considering his Instagram account has been cancelled twice and videos of his have been removed, I'd have to disagree. I think that the point I am trying to make is that many artists do not express their true thoughts and feelings the way that Ronnie and Andy do to avoid arousing controversy. You don't have to be cancelled as such to self-censor, which many artists are in fact doing. Self-nullifying behavior is antithetical to art since art is quite literally a medium of self-expression. I'm not quite sure if I am responding to your statement, but I hope I have clarified my position to some extent.

The entitlement from some of these fans is insane. To expect an artist to drop off a tour just because you don't personally like an individual on the bill is so self-centered and delusional. Attacking either artist in this situation is a problem, and it makes you apart of the overall problem. You don't actually care about either individual or either band, you're just looking for another reason to get mad. And if you're genuinely offended by anything said by either artist, then don't go to the show. They will do just fine without you. I refuse to believe anyone who is actually mad is past middle school. These two literally wrote music together and Andy was in the Bad Girls Club music video. All the bands commented on the great energy, the impressive number of fans who turned up to a show in a small state when they weren't expecting that big of a turnout! It was flawless, Ronnie is an incredible showman and his band backed him up like the pros they are. Black Veil Brides were fantastic as always, and we in Idaho were excited to learn that there is a native in the band! (I don't know how I missed that all these years!). FIR had a similar look with the big hair look back in the day and their style and uniqueness drew me in and I've been a long time fan of both (even when Ronnie was in ETF). this tour is gonna be so cool and I'm excited for the stop I will be attending. much love to both these guys and I'm glad Andy is speaking up and Ronnie is defending him and both of them are defending each other and staying true to their long time friendship. you don't turn your back on someone you've been friends with for as long as they have been.

The hate for Ronnie Radke seems hilariously astroturfed by social media. People will call people like Mostcritikal someone who goes with the safe opinions from Reddit, and imply that everyone must have a stance or a political activist opinion on everything (even stuff they aren't informed about), just to then get mad at Ronnie for having a stance on things and daring to push back against the hate. I'm sure he has a sense of self awareness, which wouldn't make him a lolcow.
The only bad thing he did was claim that streamers could have his music in the background, just to then copyright claim Brad's video reviewing one of his albums. I could understand if Brad was just playing the entire thing back and not saying anything, as that's not transformative enough for fair use, but yeah, people will pick at straws to find anything to write someone off.

This is because Brad did not do a very intelligent review of Radke's work. He started off with personal attacks and juvenile name-calling rather than review the work. Andy and BVB can tour with however they want, and actual fans will support that. theyre both great bands that have absolutely killer songs.
if people dont want to support a band touring with one you dont like, just dont go to the shows. you dont need to go and the band has no obligation to bow to your demands. theyve got families and lives outside of the rock/metal world and their music supports those families. by creating a stink about this, you're giving it more attention, which'll mean more people are likely to buy tickets to see the shows. the action of bitching online only increases the visibility, so its a losing battles.

I have a *theory* that I like to call the Ronnie Radke Filtering System. My *theory* goes as follows: Bands tour with Falling In Reverse to get rid of some of their more obnoxious, opinionated fans. I've seen it happen with other bands. I love it. The Karens announce their departure from the fandom, and the rest of us get to actually enjoy the music. Of course, the fact that FIR is one of the biggest bands in metal right now certainly doesn't hurt for the openers either.
As a side note, I really appreciate Andy. I may not like his music, but he seems like a cool guy. We aren't going to see this tour because the tickets and fees are a bit too much for us given that we only want to see the headliner, but hopefully we'll catch the next one.

As someone who has been in the arts her entire life (my parents are actors, I'm an actress and stage manager) I can confirm what I am about to say: sometimes an artist HAS to take work that doesn't entirely (or at all) mesh with their own personal values or beliefs. Trying to survive in this capitalist system by only work on projects that absolutely follow your values is impossible, especially with the economy being the way that it is. No matter what, you need money to not starve or loose your house. Every artist has had to make a decision like this at some point in their career, especially if they want to grow their platform. it sucks, and we don't particularly like it either, but it's a decision we all have to make.

But this doesnt mean we should try to shut someone down for speaking their mind. We should actually encourage more people to speak their mind and live without a filter so theres less snowflakes in the world. At this day and age everyone is to sensitive. I checked out the Watch the World Burn video out of boredom about a month ago and it was NOT what I remember FIR being(emo really isn’t my thing). I went down a rabbit hole with them and I was surprised how much I enjoyed their more current stuff so much so I bought tickets for their upcoming Boston show. I can see how Ronnie can rub some people the wrong we he speaks his mind and sometimes says what people are thinking but are afraid to say. Do I agree with everything he says or dies? No of course not but I also don’t think he’s this super bad guy like some people portray(he’s definitely made his fair share of mistakes and fuck ups in life). After seeing Andy’s response and how he handled that situation I’m definitely going to give BVB a closer listen in Boston in September.
