This should be the definition of "it was worth the wait". Nice to have you back Dan, amazing video and the music with no talking gives it a totally new dramatic effect. By the way, LOVE the new intro. As a side note, I don't see the car on the fast list, but it would also make it easier to find if the tested car was a different color for that specific week.
Francois Boisvert Thanks for the suggestion. I updated the Porsche, the weekly color will be neon green. My plan is to do this style for all the acceleration videos going forward.

If anyone ever driven the previous gen Boxster gts with a manual or even pdk... Trust me it is one of the best Porches ever made. It is as raw and as fun as a gt3, but there is one but! It needs to be driven on tight curvy roads

Thanks man. That’s a great idea. I’ll definitely look into getting that integrated. The fast list spreadsheet is just a temporary work around. I want to build an app for iOS and Android so people can just pull it up on their phones quickly as well.

One of the best 981 videos out there! Lots of talent in cinematography and post-production. The only enhancement would have been to see long flowing hair dropping out as the driver removed their helmet!!

Not bad for a N/A motor. Keeps up with somenof today's stuff. If I remember, the main competitor for this car was the 4C back when it came out in 2015.
Um, this didn't come out in 2015 and the main competitor wasn't a 4C. I say this with confidence because I just bought a 2013 981 Cayman S and was looking at the real main competitor- the Jaguar F-Type. The 4C is more of a competitor to the Lotus Elise, it's more focused on lightness and isn't such a great daily.

Not gonna lie though, I hate yellow cars but this Porsche yellow really does pop and isn’t like that taxi cab yellow.
This is actually the flat 6 brother. Next week I’ll explain why it’s not the new 718 gen with the flat 4. The redline is about 7600RPM but the car shifts around 7700-7800 RPM but those shifts are quick even if they don’t sound like it. I’m going to do these more cinematic bits with little or no talking because frankly, that’s what I always wanted to do. I will mix it up with straight up reviews though. You’ll see next week like I said.

911 Turbo or bust. Wouldn’t sleep on those, especially if modded. But it’s gotta be a 911 or newer.

I love 981, but 982 are on another lvl when it comes to speed and handling.
Yes it is only a 4 pot but that does not bother me a bit.
And turbos are not overrated when it comes to performance, 60-130 in my 718 gts takes 10.7 sec
So it effects the performance slightly.
My friend has a Turbo 2017 ND Miata with 320hp that would most definitely smoke this thing lmfao. The price difference 😂
Well, the one in the video is actually old, previous generation (2013-2016) Cayman S. The 2017 Cayman S is with 350HP and it'll definitely smoke the Mazda on track or 0-60.
But it is a Miata.
It's slow, long geared (6MT) and down on hrspwrs/trqs. Speaking from ownership experience. Nowadays, a $*!t box can have 350hp. Nice production though
