@@connorsoftley4285 it's not sign posted mate but if you follow the signs for valley of desolation u'll come out into an open area before you head off into the forest area,keep an eye left and there's a path drops down follow that & it leads straight to the waterfall 👍

Started off good. Then cloud. Then moon. Photos were good though. Then the cold and what a sunrise 🌅. All in all a cracking camp. And that makes a good video. I’ve tweeted you a solution for your wind troubles. All about the views uses the same thing. It works. I used to have one too. Atb

Really good quality Andy. Loved your choice of music and video footage on this one, and even a bit of humour thrown in. Good job you didn’t strip off, it wouldn’t be very impressive in those conditions! Or maybe that’s just me. Did you sleep with one eye open just in case one of those deer goes for a jog over you tent. You have inspired me to get out and do one, I am going to have to dust off Grandad Kieth and drag him out. Superb stuff ... a great hike and camp, and excellently filmed. It certainly looked a cold one, but as long as you've got the right gear I reckon the cold, clear ones are the best ... can't beat a frosty tent on a morning like that :-) Here's hoping we all have plenty of those this winter. ATB

I was also on Place Fell on Monday 29th October. Must have just missed you. 360 degrees of stunning scenery and would highly recommend the walk to anyone. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your adventures with us. Keep that camera rolling and look forward to your next video.

@@lewisjones2838 well thanks for the comment Lewis & reply..I used to have a vango bag the green one but not used that for a long time now it wa knackered..I do have an osprey bag a 48 litre exos which I've used all summer.the bag in this vid is the low Alpine 65 which I've had since last winter,bit bigger bag to get the xtra warm gear in over winter..tfw pal..Andy.

Thanks for sharing. Great views. Place Fell is one of my favourite destinations. Not as popular as Helvellyn but usually quieter.
