Sublimated more than 30 mugs yesterday. Used the center mark trick on them, (to go opposite the handle) but not the same way. Your method makes a lot more sense. Thanks
Just in time! I was thinking about sublimating my first mug today. I’ve done tumblers but have yet to do a mug. Thanks for the templates! Oh and thanks for all the other links included…I’ve never really checked out the links before. 😅 So helpful especially since I’ve only been doing this a couple of weeks!
I only tape enough to keep the paper on & centered and to keep it from shifting when I remove it from the press. (I also wait a few minutes after taking it out of the press before removing the paper so as not to have any ghosting.) I’m not sure I would tape any more, even with a full wrap as long as I’m using a press. An oven is a different story! Thanks for watching!
There are a couple of ways to mirror it. One way, and the way I normally flip it is in the design program (so I don’t have to worry about mirroring the image when printing). I didn’t do that in the video, as most people mirror at the printing stage. And of course, that’s the other way to mirror it, when printing. Thanks for watching!
I was worried until I saw that the center line would be above the mug. I ruined two tumblers by just having a sliver of the guideline remain that I didn't see that I missed. Yep, pressed right onto the tumbler, and darn! it was perfect except for that line.
You're a genius! Great video tutorial! Thanks! Your wife's cameo was cute, too.
You’re too kind! And yes, I think my wife enjoys tormenting me while I’m making these! As always, thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! I struggle with positioning and keeping it straight.
I’m so glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
I wanted to thank you for the temple. I've been busy doing Xmas mugs and it makes it SO EASY. THANK YOU AGAIN
Good trick ! Ty
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for this! I’ve definitely struggled with positioning. Now I just have to see if I can use your templates in Canva Pro. 😊
Good luck!
Brilliant!
Thanks, Ken!
This is great, thank you!!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!

Now, I need a template for the enamel camp mugs 🤭
With a little work, you can adjust these templates for different sizes!
Do you tape it all around before pressing? Or does it not require as much tape as a full wrap?

At what stage did the image get mirrored?

Yeah, you do have to make sure that line is above the mug! Thanks for watching!
