You don’t have to. In my opinion the timing is more strict going from forward to down forward. Double dash is more consistent for me but whatever way works lol

That first combo you did, ya you have the max wall carry but after ewgfs b22, twin piston then wall combo is 94 dmg so not the max one

The clip in concern is not explaining max damage. It’s explaining the wall carry aspect of the cancel. If you saw at the end of the video I did b22 then Df 1,2 (not twin piston) after the electrics. Appreciate you’re input tho and thanks for sharing
