- Green Bertha has reached her potential thanks to proper upgrades and quality electronics. Ditto for the Talion 6s. Both are complete screamers and Crazy fun!!! Huge thanks to M2C Racing for their constant commitment to offering the best aftermarket upgrade options possible.
As much as I hate to say it, the Xmaxx look pretty awesome out there until she didn’t sorry about your damages with that truck, but it looks like it’s an easy fix the Desert racer looked dialed as always sucks about the tires. Good call on the gearing with the X max. I ran into that same problem running those bigger MX57 once again awesome run Rich, the lake look beautiful.👍🤩🚀🤘😎👊
Thanks so much Brother Aldo 🤗. I never have super high expectations with plastic fantastic, but she did great the past couple outings. I'm always happy when the chassis and crown gears hold up 😂. The Talion DR felt awesome with the new motor 😱🚀🚀. Folsom Lake is notorious for tire rips, but it's still my favorite place hands down 😍🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
M2C for me still the upgrade Kings for X Maxx .....nice to see the new parts for shocks an the bellcrank......it is so much fun see you driving.❤.....i have to go bashing this weekend😊
You are very talented when it comes to driving, fixing or anything else with an rc, that's why I love watching your vids my friend.
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Truly appreciate the kind words 😁
Yeah Baby Yeah!!! Bertha!!!!!! LoL 🤣. EPIC runs brother Rich! Bertha did killer indeed. Glad to see the bellcrank held strong. A huge upgrade for this Rig. Bigger and heavier lugs can get toasty on the motor for sure but hooks up real good out there. I've been eyeing the DR cage for some time now. Looks so good on high speed dirt rips! Another satisfying and awesome bash my friend.
Thanks so much Brother Chris 🤗. GB and the Talion DR did Killer out there!!! So fun ripping the DR with this new 1720 4082 🚀🚀. Really hope BQ gets more conversion kits. Love the cage setup. Perfect fit and super durable thus far. Truly appreciate it my friend!!! 🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
💯🤙🤟👍👌🤞as always Rich.....Total RC stress relief after a bad day... 🤙
Thank you Brother 😁🤙🤙
Awesome run Rich I based my XMAXX off your setup I have to get the M2C parts soon but I am running the Max5 HW 5687 1100kv motor and the 25/30 gearing using Hotracing gears Vitivon was out of stock but wow what a killer RC Thanks for your Awesome videos and your knowledge 👊I also changed my diff front and rear gearing from 11/35 to13/42 thing is beast👊✊
Thanks so very much Brother 🤗. Your setup sounds awesome and appreciate the details about your HR gears. Great to share feedback like that 🍻😎💪👊👊
Love your work Rich! Great advice as always.
Thanks so much John 🤗
Looking good dude. Too bad we can’t do this stuff for a full time job 😂
X Maxx may be a turd but M2C sure has maximized that platform 😍
I heard a rumor that Arrma was gonna bring the Talion back as a non EXB… we’ll see, I’d sure love to get one🤙🏻🤞🏻
Thanks so much Steven 🤗. Yeah I gotta work my real job to finance my hobbies 😂. M2C kept me from dumping my XMaxx.... literally. If it wasn't for the chassis brace, I was ready to move on. Same for the XRT before they fixed the weak stock bellcrank 😳. I truly hope the Talion goes back in the line up. Truly is the ultimate speed basher in my opinion 😍
25/30 that’s a beast setup green Bertha look great out there.
INSANE SESSION!!!! crazy airs and monster flips!!!!! thanks for punishing the parts!!!!!
Thanks so much Brother Avery 🤗. Parts did absolutely Killer!!! 🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Hi Rich ,Big Bertha is beastly with these updates 💪💯 Great work as always, great bash session I love Xmaxx, peace my brother 😉
Thanks so very much Nel 🤗. Truly appreciate it Brother!!! 🍻
What Up my friend,
What a killer bash here with them new M2C Upgrades.... I just dropped in my steering rack for the Xmaxx last night but shocks nut yet💪💪👌
Great rips and triples with easy w big Bertha🚀🚀🔥😱
Them surpass motors are a great value I have found.
I have a 1580kv I think in my Outcast 6s XL.... And had one in my Mojave before I let her go😢
Good to see you still rocking the xmaxx... I still like her for what she is... And my Maxx handles like a brick but is as tough as one😂💪👍
Some killer sends my dear friend,
Glad you got some time with the Misses this weekend 👌
Thanks so much Brother Dennis 🤗. Green Bertha did great out there. Huge thanks to Mitch and Avery for their innovation. The Talion DR did awesome too. The 4082 1720 has wicked power 😱🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Greeeen B in the house❤❤. Havnt touched mine for sau 6 month, but getting there. It looks dialed as few brother Rich❤
Green B did pretty good out there dear Brother 😍. M2C bellcrank hanging tough so far. XRT needs work at the moment 😂. She's been sounding rough lately. 🚀🚀
@@richduperbash2966 sounds ❤️. Just finished XRT a few days ago. But finaly ordered alu fr and rr diffhouse covers, incl spurshaft cover in alu. ❤️
Excellent bash👍
Thank you Brother 🍻
Loved the session! Great job! Is the new 6s motor still in testing?
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Yes the motor mount is still in testing at the moment. Shouldn't be much longer though. 😎💪👊👊
That 3 peace center drive shaft set-up is what the xmaxx needs from factory. I couldn't get 10 foot of air without bending my stock rod when I had a xmaxx. If that was available then I'd mite still have the xmaxx. But I just couldn't keep it together to finish a set of lipos. Never got past halfway through the packs before I'd break it. Lol i run a 4092 1730kv rocket motor in my typhon v3 for street bashing. Great bash as always bro!!!❤
Thanks so much Mike 😁. Yeah the XMaxx absolutely needs several key upgrades to stay together. Guys that claim it's tough out of the box don't do big airs or high speed hammering. Your Typhon must absolutely rip with the 1730 😱🚀🚀. Rocket and Hobbystar motors are such a killer value overall. Happy bashing Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 ya I did 90mph with it and had more to go but ran out of room where I live. Ended up hitting a curb an breaking a front knuckle. Still broke with the part to fix it sitting on top iI. LOL 😂
@@mikellewis2346LMAO 😂. I do that too Brother. Reminds me what the heck I need to do later 🤙
It’s a bird, it’s a ✈️ no it’s Duperbash 🤣. Next time I’ll have the ramp 😉.
Nice rip bro👍🏻👊🏻
The talion is a very fast beast💪🏼🚀🚀🚀
Thank you Brother 😁
Another awesome bash as always with your videos man! Man traxxas rigs just don’t seem to hold up to the hardcore bashing, not anywhere close to Arrma seems like it! I thought about getting an x maxx but I think I’ll hold off lol
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I would definitely hold off unless you're willing to upgrade like crazy 😂. No joke. Maybe a used roller cuz everything else needs replacing. Green Bertha has been a love/hate relationship since day one testing M2C upgrade parts. More busted chassis's, bulkheads, and blown gears then I wish to remember. Took forever to get this truck even close to bash worthy. Appreciate the kind words Brother 🍻
Thanks for the response brotha love your videos for sure I’ll definitely stay subscribe to your channel! Got an Arrma outcast exb love it so far what would you recommend upgrading right away with the outcast?
@@gsxrfun7774awesome to hear Brother 👊. The main thing I'd recommend early on is the M2C chassis brace rod ends. The plastic ones can let go with hard enough use putting the chassis at greater risk for bandage. Also consider putting Carbon fiber tubing over the front upper chassis brace. Amazon carries 12 x 14 x 500mm tubes you can cut to fit. www.amazon.com/ARRIS-Outer-Wrapped-Carbon-Surface/dp/B00TF8V4EO?pd_rd_w=7nMh2&content-id=amzn1.sym.aceb1e77-290b-4abc-bb35-33d198615ee1&pf_rd_p=aceb1e77-290b-4abc-bb35-33d198615ee1&pf_rd_r=4NA8V4T8QF72QBSM7PQJ&pd_rd_wg=5g4Nw&pd_rd_r=ad0f6d44-c365-404d-a325-ad0f5f670068&pd_rd_i=B00TF8V4EO&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_m_grid_dv_rp_0_37_i
That’s for the reply brotha I’ll be ordering those from m2c thanks tons man! Keep the videos coming your one true honest rc basher that’s for sure!
awesome ma bro
Awesome bash as always! 👍🤙💯
Thank you Brother 😁
Sweet bash bro! 😎👍
Thanks Brother 🤗
Hope the bell crank works out, my biggest problem is servo horns
Hello Rich...
Whats your brake Setup on the ESC...in%?Are you running 100% Brake?
Thanks for the awesome Content🙂
Greets and have fun!
Hey brother 🤗. I generally run my brake setup around 37%. Much stronger and you'll nose dive trying to modulate the brake when jumping or even roll end over end from over braking on the ground.
Great video as always. Do you like the 57’s over the back flips?
I love both wheel sets. The MX57's are faster with great long term durability being belted. The Backflips are more forgiving during wrecks and a little easier to stunt and flip with. Can't pick an absolute favorite because they're both great options.
@@richduperbash2966 nice. Have you ever broke wheel hex? They make me nervous.
The original MX57's with non removable hexes yes. The newer Raid style removable hexes no. They're super beefy. Very impressed with Proline for the new large scale wheel hex design 💪
Good morning rich, I was shown your channel by my local hobby shop they said you may be able to give me some input on parts to order just ordered all m2c stuff for xmaxx build maxx5 850 kv motor.. so was curious on what diff gears to use and what you feel has worked best for pinion and spur. Thank you
Good evening Brother 🤗. Gearing can take experimentation based on desired speed and wheel size. I've had great luck with Vitavon mod 1.5 gears. 25/30 might work well depending on desired speed. You could go up with the pinion, but would have to buy it separately. Saga Custom also makes great hardened steel gears including mod 1.5 ones. I'm thinking 28/30 might be the sweet spot with an 850kv. I'm still running stock diff gears, but bought some Vitavon spiral cut ring/input gears to try in my XRT.
just savage my brotha! love it
Thank you Brother 😁
Hola no veas cómo sumba los bichos ke flipada de 10 👍💪🏎️🏎️🍻🍻
Nice Rich 🤩🤩🤩
Up , up , up , and away . Yep ...
between xmaxx and sledge, which do you think is more durable?
The Sledge is more durable overall, but requires an upgraded motor mount like M2C Racing. The stock mount was horribly designed and blows through gears rather easily due to flex and poor ability to hold gear mesh.
Hey Rich/ do you run the stock plastic hex wheel hubs or aluminum ones? I put aluminum ones on with the m2c wide kit and its doing great/ im just curious on what your running.
I'm running the +15mm M2C axels with 24mm alloy hexes. So far the Proline plastic wheel hexes are holding up. 🍻
So stuck between the xmaxx and the kraton 8s!!!
The Kraton handles 100% better and can take huge power 😱. I like my XMaxx, but it's often frustrating to work on, has very weak gears, and took a TON of upgrades and modifications before it could handle harder bashing and not fall apart. I honestly have a love/hate relationship with Green Bertha and my XRT 😂
@@richduperbash2966 I ended up picking up a Kraton 8s EXB with a Max5 and 800kv already installed 😍🤤
@@sickduck66 that's awesome Brother 😱!!! 1/1 gearing or even higher works awesome with the 800kv 🚀🚀
Is this spot out where the pump track used to be off richards blvd ?
The first spot is in Lincoln off 12 Bridges near Walgreens. Richards Blvd is under construction unfortunately.
What packs do you run usually in the xmaxx? That gearing is pretty nuts!
I'm running ZEEE 6000mah 4s packs at the moment. Was running Hobbystar 7200mah, but lost a cell. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 You must swap packs out pretty often too then, considering the speeds you run. I use CNHL, Liperior, Lectron 5000mah 4S packs and if I'm running it pretty hard, I only get 10-11 minutes, but usually get 14-15 minutes. Longer when I run with other people because I watch them as much as I drive mine.
I ran 5 sets of packs through my xmaxx last Saturday, I was on my own. The lectron 5200's only got 9 minutes. The rest got between 12-14. Was contemplating stacking a couple and using a parallel connector... but I think that will add too much weight which will result in more damage when crashing...
Anyway, thanks for the info.
@@olds97lss yeah I think 6000mah is the smallest I'd want to run in the 8s rigs. Many run 8000mah. I'm fine swapping packs. Gives the electronics a chance to cool and time to pull rocks and crap out of the chassis bay.
Im curious how long and high do you jump the xmax it looks far in the video. What's the farthest and highest you jump.
She's probably been 40+ feet up off my buddies Mega ramp and distance probably 130+ feet. I typically don't measure these things, just send them wide open geared up on big power. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 ok thanks that helps me judge how big I can go. With all the nessasary upgrades ofcourse.
is that a stock center driveshaft bro?
No I'm still running the M2C Racing center driveshaft setup. It's been awesome 🍻
Also, did the basher cage go discontinued??
Kimberly is waiting for more FS Racing cages I've been told.
@@richduperbash2966 thanks for the info. I've looked for one while back after watching you drive the talion with it on an couldn't find it. I'll keep my finger crossed 🤞
@@mikellewis2346www.arrmaforum.com/threads/talion-basherqueen-cage-body-kit.60345/page-4
What kind of speeds is the XMaxx getting with that motor setup?
Probably around 60 mph. Fast enough for what I do anyways 🍻
Yea that’s plenty fast enough, would you still recommend that motor or is the 5690 better?
I haven't tried the 5690, but it would probably work fine with the same gearing.
You think the 56118 or 5690 would be better and max 5 or 6 esc, I’ve never ran these motors so don’t know anything about them.Appreciate your help.
The 56118 is way too big for the XMaxx. Go with the Hobbywing 1100kv. 5687 is perfect for this truck. Max5 provides better power and runs cooler than the Max6 overall.
Mx57 프로라인타이어
안터집니까?
No they don't explode, because these are belted.🍻
what diffs you got in the xmax
I'm still running stock diffs in Green Bertha with upgraded HR and Vitavon gear covers. Also running HR tie bar plates under the front and rear skids. I bought a set of hardened steel spiral cut Vitavon crown and input gears to drop in my XRT, just haven't installed them yet. They fit the XMaxx as well. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 idk why my truck likes to blow stock diff gears lol but I ordered the vitavon diff gears I pray the hold up
@@CYBERbacon2025 yeah the stock gears are kinda junk monkey metal 😂
Just saw kevin talbot has the outcast 8s rtr v2. SOOO I'm just gonna call it now.. he's going to send it 40 feet at the skatepark and purposely fail a landing, then insinuate it requires full m2c to even be a viable basher. Then he'll say xmaxx is still king 😂 just calling it now, we'll see 🤷
LMAO 😂. Heavy rigs demand respect and some sensibility with their operation. I'm glad Kev loves his XMaxx, but mine took a butt load of upgrades just to stay in one piece. We'll see carnage of some sort purposeful or not 🤣. Whatever gets the views I guess. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 update lol he tried killing it immediately and failed, sent it 30 feet at the skatepark and nose dive into the ground. Then he says the sun was in his eyes so he couldn't see to correct it.. 😂 pretty much what I expected. He broke his servo, but immediately m2c'd everything on the truck and never mentioned the xmaxx. Now his outcast is in &1600 and not stock, he doesn't have to talk about out of the box value comparing them. You really can't make this up, super predictable.
@@smoothwookienookie5912LMAO 😂. Appreciate the update. I'll have to give it a watch later 🍻🤙🤙
I found that m2c driveline to be a pile. Went back to stock.
That's Crazy 👀. The center driveline is one of the best upgrades ever for this platform. What was the issue 🤔
@@richduperbash2966 The adapters kept beaking. Both front and rear. Seems they are too thin and brittle. Stock shaft works much better for me. Before you suggest landing on throttle, that isn't the case. I was especially careful of that after the first adapter shattered. Kept happening so I went back to the stock shaft and just keep spares when they go bad.
@@buddyeast1928damn that sucks Bro 😕. Sorry to hear. I've had solid luck with mine. I did foul the driveline bearings on my XRT, but replaced them with greased rubber sealed.
🚀🪂
Would rather you focus on Arrma. IMO Traxxas is second rate stuff, but I see you’re trying to appease the whole RC community. I don’t watch your Traxxas videos.
Thanks for the feedback, but I told Mitch and Avery I would help them test upgrade parts for both brands and I'm a man of my word 🍻. ARRMA is my favorite hands down 😍
Nobody asked you
Thank you for attempting to destroy your trucks for our amusement.
