- The 0-400-0 record comes down once again after being broken just a month prior on 10/1/17. The Koenigsegg Agera RS, equipped with Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and driver Niklas Lilja went 0 to 401km/h and back down to 0 in just 33.87 seconds.

Thanks Michelin for putting it up out that silly background music. Awesome tires you made there that hit 284 mph and were still well within limits and going strong at the end of the day. Heard that the whole speed record and this 0-400-0 was all done on the same set. Bravo!

Those brakes were struggling once it got below 100mph. Can't imagine the friction from 400kph to 0.
Bugatti tests their titanium brakes at 250mph I think itll be fine
@@jayy7712 i mean, Bugatti's are a good bit heavier and have more body roll than Koenigseggs due to their shapes and height. It's only logical that they have to have better breaks. Koenigseggs on the other hand don't need such tough brakes, but i guess their brakes are also elite in the car world.

Could be lower down force at lower speeds leading to lower traction and lower maximum breaking force

My toyota camry, 4th gen, CE, auto, took about 15 seconds to get from 90-100 mph, my 88 camry with a 5 speed manual, also a base model is around 8-12 seconds. This is ridiculous.
If you had to drive this road for hours, what would your prefered cruising speed be?
I think 100mph/170kmh is fine. If you go above 130mph/200kmh it becomes too stressful.

I think they take it easy in the beginning to reduce the heat build-up in the engine.

If they were going for the 0-60 record they would have used different gearing. Speccing the car for the best possible 0-60 would have hurt the record they were actually going for
