As a Lyft driver I picked up some people from a Jamiroquai concert in SF a couple years ago and I was like "He's still around?" and the people were like "It's like a secret club of fans". Kinda makes me think of Radiohead. All their great songs and albums coming out for decades after their one big hit and most people think they just went away long ago.
Great comparison! My husband and I are huge radiohead fans but ask us our favorite song and we say "NOT KARMA POLICE" lol Radiohead is one of thee most sold out bands of our time. And their music only gets better. It's a specific taste but man, best concert we have ever been to.

Jamiroquai was the bomb in the 90's. I'm 56 so I love the 70's, 80's and 90's music. The had real music, talent and played instruments. The visual effect always made it even better. I appreciate that you guys are opening your eyes and other young people to music.
I agree that alot of the great forgotten classics need to be talked about more, but that doesn't mean there aren't many great bands and artists these days.

They were huge in Europe and ASIA for a long time. the band did win a Grammy for that video, but they did not find the US market to be as profitable bc of the heavy touring requirements. many US Atists have pulled from their talent. The band has been a huge influence to both Tyler the Creator and Chance the Rapper. Jay has an amazing voice and knew how to put together strong musicians.! They actually dropped a new album AUTOMATION a couple years ago when they head-lined COACHELLA. . I think “Little L” is of the best dance songs ever. Also, watch his Live concert in Verona, Italy where he does a killer version of Donna SUmmer’s , “Bad Girls”. I’m a fan, obviously - they get me moving on the treadmill when nothing else does!
