For what it's worth, I usually don't leave comments. However, your product review and tutorial for the R50 is what made me buy it! It is my first camera ever, and I absolutely love it! Thank you for the vids
I just wanted something better than a smartphone to start taking better pictures on holiday. After reading reviews, I opted for the R50. I searched for help on using it and you popped up. This is a great tutorial - thank you
I just bought my new camera with the kit S18-45 lens and S55-210 zoom lens. I'm excited to follow you and learn all I can about my new camera. This is my first digital camera. I have many years experience with SLR film and color slide photography. Thank you for your videos
That was pretty much the best R50 Video i have seen so far. Thanks alot and i can't wait to get my hands on my new camera and dive a bit into color grading. Greets
This tutorial is excellent. Packs a lot of info. I just got Canon R50 a week ago and this tutorial is really helpful for me as a beginner in photography. Thank you!!
I've been trying all day to sort my camera out and you have learnt me how to use it half decent. Thank you. Just need to to keep practicing with it now
Great content videos amd tutorial What is the compatible battery for Canon R50, and do i need a charger for it or it can be charged with the original, that you recomend. Thank you
i’ve been taking pictures for about 3 years on a T7i and looking for an upgrade, should i get this camera?im taking sports and portrait photos and many group photos too. would this be a good camera in terms of an upgrade?
Thank you for the videos They’re really useful Please would you advise me I want to buy a camera with a good budget to make my own maternity photo shoots also i want to record some videos for my baby’s delivery and I’ll leave the camera on tripod stand so i hope i can find one which does automatically focusing on faces Which one you recommended for me please? I’m confused now between R50 and M50
I also bought the Canon R50 with the 18-45 mm lens but the lens cannot be completely retracted so it cannot reach the completely closed original position. I don't know if my description was understandable but is that normal or is my lens broken?
I love the 50mm and 35mm . But the r50 is a apsc sensor so remember that you will be a crop on those lenses.so the focal length needs to be multipled by 1.6. Hope this makes sense
This is a helpful video, but it is extremely fast paced. For a Complete Beginner Guide, it should be way slower with a more natural conversation style, with examples for the features and differences between them. Even still, I stopped a lot during the video and content helped me to get a first glimpse of the camera.
Way to fast for me. Stressed me out. I don't like to have to keep pausing and rewinding. I'm going through the EOS R50 for Dummies. Much longer and not a video, but MUCH better for beginners to start with the simple things and build up to the complex.
I’m really thinking about getting this but I can’t choose a second lens for it - 18-150mm or a 50mm … Would do 18-150 do the job of a 50? For portraits? Complete newbie here 😅
Quick question I have the prime 50mm, but due to the crop it seems closer to an 80mm Thinking of getting the EF adapter and getting the EF 24mm lens for portrait and couples photos. Will this work or is there a better solution. I just have to get back rather far with the 50mm to get the whole scene in.
I would stick with the right focal length for the job. A common mistake is to get a wider lens instead of stepping back because a wider focal length has different characteristics. But i think you are on the right track with getting a 24 for wider shots. You might also want to consider the rf 16mm. Try then both and see what fits you personal shooting style.
Which camera will be better for filmmaking ? My confusion Canon: + No crop at 4K. Good thing ! - No audio monitoring - Questionable image stabilization vs Gyro data in Sony ZV E10 Sony ZV E10 + Audio Monitoring + Gyro data for image stabilization - Crop at 4K. A deal breaker :( - No viewfinder. Bad but manageable
I think I'm going to go for the R50 and 'cheat' with all the AI support ! Then progress. I think I'll buy the body and the 16mm lens. I have the Comica BoomX-D PRO wireless system plus I see the Sennheiser MKE 200 has a headphone jack. I guess it's limited to 720p when you live stream via the USB C port. I hope it charges the battery at the same time as I don't want to mess around with dummy batteries etc... Plenty of material here for future videos 🤣🥳
Dude like slow the heck down man !!!! I’m no novice to filmmaking or photography but in learning this specific camera im two days in . And you are rattling off facts and steps like a hyena on cocaine . If you want to do tutorials for people maybe think about explaining all the terms and not speeding through it all so fast
Ugh. How fast can this guy talk? The EOS R50 for Dummies which I have just started is so much better. One of the screens he demonstrated was already up without showing how he got there. He's pressing the buttons so fast hard to see what he's doing. Definitely not a complete beginner guide.
Thanks man but I'm a beginner, and you are way to fast. Can you dunb it for us. I try to pause and go back. But you just keep talking so dam fast. You are a bad teacher. No hate man I'm just not good enough for your nonstop aratteling on
For what it's worth, I usually don't leave comments. However, your product review and tutorial for the R50 is what made me buy it! It is my first camera ever, and I absolutely love it! Thank you for the vids
How’s it going? I really want to buy this camera but I’m thinking if i really need the flip screen, or if i need an expensive camera for my first one
This is my second just bought it monday
My first camera as well. Bought it like two hours ago. Found this video instead of flipping through a manual. Good luck on your photo journey
I’m going to get it today, but is raw… just a raw picture with no filter or anything?
No mention of external power bank charging options. It's very important because battery life is absolute garbage on this camera.
I just wanted something better than a smartphone to start taking better pictures on holiday. After reading reviews, I opted for the R50. I searched for help on using it and you popped up. This is a great tutorial - thank you

For those who only see 25 and 50 fps you have to go to the wrench in the settings and swap from PAL to NTSC
Thankyou!
Thank you. I figured it out a week ago. I literally used to think that my R50 software is messed up for not having 4k 30p. 😅
Thanks, man 🤝
That was pretty much the best R50 Video i have seen so far. Thanks alot and i can't wait to get my hands on my new camera and dive a bit into color grading. Greets

Amazing explanation
Just bought R50 a month ago, its a great value for money. Need suggestion for a good portrait lens for it.
I love the 50mm and 35mm . But the r50 is a apsc sensor so remember that you will be a crop on those lenses.so the focal length needs to be multipled by 1.6. Hope this makes sense

I agree, I need to replay again and again to catch what he says. Nevertheless, I appreciate the tutorial 😊

You can slow down any TH-cam video. I thought the pace was perfect and I’m a complete beginner
Thann you so much for this

Both are good just depends on ur bduegt

Great video 😊
For a beginner is ok the lens 18-45 that came with the body? I mean.....can i use it for starting photo?
its decent enough to get started. but also look at the black stm primes from canon simply for the faster aperture
hi, where is the free guide mentioned in the video?
on automatic settings, background blur can be adjusted even with kits lens limitation?
I’m really thinking about getting this but I can’t choose a second lens for it - 18-150mm or a 50mm …

It's rounded up, it's the same fps.
Thanks River you're a stone cold G.
Thank you for posting ... wannabe ninja here
Any time! You will be a ninja soon
I don’t usually leave and watch movies but i might
Excelente tutorial, he visto varios pero este es el mejor
It's tiny! I'm considering an upgrade from an EOS5Dii. My hands are large so this camera will just be too fiddly.
love tutorials but my camera was not showing shutter and aperture, or anything on your camera screen so I was lost right off the bat
make sure you are in Manual mode. or hit the display button
Ah ok thanks
he doesnt start at the beginning
Too fast explanation for a beginner
really? 🙄
Servo!
Your sound is too low make it higher so that i dont skip your videos
I read selection of lenses are inferior to Sony 😮
good video, but you talk really fast.
11:21
Bro is Using The R50 to record his other R50.
PLEAS TRY TO TALK THE NEXT TIME SLOWER. i FIND YOUR TALKING TO FAST i CANT HARDLEY FOLLOW . THANKS
His talking is so comprehensive and at an amazing speed, there is however a button to slow down the video
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not because his talking speed is perfect 👌
