    I'm not Chinese, but, despite the avalanche of anti-China propaganda, I feel as proud of China as I was. A country that in less than 40 years lifts its 1 billion citizens out of misery and become the number one economy and tech lead.

    Every Neil deGrasse Tyson interview had been extremely informative, interesting and draw you in into his history. For someone that smart, he conveys his messages so well that even a normal person can understand it really well. It is a joy listening to his story.

    I'm a fan of the straight talking Mr. Lhatoo. I've seen other interviews conducted by Mr. Lhatoo on politics. However I'm pleasantly surprised that he interviewed one of foremost astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson. This was very stimulating and fun. Nice job.

    Great to see international co-operation and intellectual sharing. We all need to respond, when asked who we are, "I'm a Human Being" and when asked, where do you come from, we respond "Planet Earth". We need to unite and stop this ongoing division of people and countries around the world. We have far more similarities than differences.

      US to NASA :stop working with China and don't share ISS with China.
      China :No problem. we will figure it out and build one.
      US to Google :stop doing business with Huawei and kick them out of Google Mobile Services.
      Huawei : No problem. We will figure it out. (Harmony OS)
      US to TSCM : stop making Kirin chips for Huawei. Surrender your customer trade secrets data to the Commerce department. Move your manufacturing facilities to Arizona.
      Huawei : No problem. We will find a way to make our own chips.
      It is too obvious that US is using the unfair practices to destroy the world supply chains.
      The world will eventually wake up to reliaze that America technology, products and services are not reliable.
      Why?
      Because you never know when they will sanction you for using US technology and services, including USD and SWIFT.

    Neil is a great person with wisdom he doesn't like taken side. He only want the advancement of humanity to work together but we have forces out there that want to divide and taken side. This is why I like Neil deGrasse Tyson and watch his StarTalk channel.

    For the record, In the top 100 STEM universities In the world, Chinese universities are ranked higher than US universities. The US is still ranked higher in the number of top ten universities in the world. But China is aiming at those.

      In the U.S they rely on administrations, that's why when you hear about government programs in the news they usually say..."the Bush administration, the Obama administration, the Biden administration, etc"...they put the emphasis on the team and not on one man, It's a more democratic view of things. As for China well... these seem to be the remnants of the cult of personality and it's only getting worst with the current president, I wouldn't be too exited about that.

    Not even sure if the US can compete with China in space the same way they did with the Soviet Union back then. The economics are completely different. If today's China wants to accomplish the same thing as the US, they could do it at a fraction of the cost. It won't even be an even competition.

    One question Yhoden did not ask Neil: since Neil forms his beliefs and wisdom from evidence-based science, (a) does he acknowledge that there may be evidence of life after death that human currently have not yet devised a tool to measure, and (b) what may be some of the forms that those evidence must take in order to be definitive that life after death exists or at least may exist?

    American science and technology have been built by countless students from all over the world who went to the US after often studying in their home countries to further their studies. After their studies, due to the high wages prevailing in the US, they stayed in the US. In this way, America has been hijacking the best brains around the world. This scenario is unfortunately no longer the only way for those students to earn their living. Increasingly they return to their home countries where their families are living.
