Only Sonoma County residents know the true Guy. He gives of himself relentlessly and never seeks praise or notoriety from his actions both large and small that make our community better.
This “guy” has lived 10 lifetimes already. What a legend. A truly special human, born to the exact parents to let him soar as they did. A great interview as always!
Graham, you and team crushed this one. Guy is such a net positive to this world. Thank you for this interview. You know it’s a good one when it’s over and you’re sad there isn’t more. Cheers!
I have never watched a full interview of someone before until now. This was the first time ever that I had to watch the entire thing. This was amazing. Thank you for doing this
I’ve always respected Guy, in fact DDD is the only food network show I watch. (And I’m a chef) Thanks for all you have done for people. I love your positive attitude.
Guy is one of my absolute heroes and this interview really seals in why he’s my hero. What a legend, and what an amazing storyteller! I’m waiting for a Mayor of Flavortown book 📕
What any interview!!!! I love Guy and all his programs and have watched them all but what a human being. His childhood upbringing, his trials and tribulations and his success. An unbelievable story. Thank you Graham for doing this interview. One of the best I have ever watched and I was sad when it was over!!!!
"Don't put your life in other peoples hands". That is really true. Use your head and think independently. Guy is very relatable that's why people probably like him and he certainly has a lot of life experience.
Thanks Guy for the great extended interview. I worked in the restaurant business for many years but needed a Health Plan. At 25 I moved on, but do appreciate the camaraderie that it offered and took that with me moving forward. Clearly your parents kept your head on straight...good for them, and it is nice to see you are teaching your kids the same. 👏👏👏
Having been a huge fan of DDD since day one I am most grateful for this in depth, heartfelt interview. I used to think it was perhaps luck that landed this path for Guy. I am having crow for dinner tonight.
Thank you for such a wonderful interview. I am sending it to my son, who knows him. Guy has helped in years past with bikes for kids in Sonoma County and my son really speaks very highly of Guy. Sounds like he had a crazy, fun life and has always helped people so much. He has such a generous heart. I am truly amazed with all he has done with his life. Thank you, Guy for being such a caring and special role model. You are an amaxing person. 👍👍👍
I am almost at the very end of this interview and has captured my attention right from the get-go. I love how guy proposed to Lorie. Almost at the end of the interview and guy talked about how he raised so much money for restaurant workers relief funds. he got a one or $2 million donation from Pepsi company and raise a total of 26 million for the restaurant workers. He remembered his humble beginnings as a dishwasher and a Mexican restaurant. Guy Fieri is his own brand and I’m sure he is a multimillionaire, but even with his own millions, he remember the restaurant workers. He supported all the restaurant workers at the mom and Pop shops and gave five $500. Just some restaurant workers to tie them over during the pandemic.
When I tell you that this has been the most heartfelt story of Guy’s life is an understatement. It can’t get any more beautiful than him telling how his up bringing was with his phenomenal parents. It felt so good that it brought me to tears. He is as humbled and compassionate has it gets. He is the real deal of a human being. I’ve always liked him now I know why. It all makes sense now. He have the best parents that anyone can only hoped for. Much respect to you. I salute you for your service to humanity. 😊
I’m confounded at how much I enjoyed this entire interview. It’s taking me about four sessions to watch it because I have things to do. I’m an adult. But I genuinely enjoyed this. Thank you so much. Well done and kudos to both of you.
At 68 years old this is one of the best stories coming from sincerity of someone that has done well for himself. It will forever change the way and the respect I have for Guy Fieri. Sincerely Jeff Lucca
Ive watched Guy Fieri on tv for years, absolutely love Triple D. Now i dont know his chef background, he strikes me as someone who was never a fan of the Michelin star stuff, definitely knows his food, is a great chef. I always got the feeling the other "chef's" looked down on him. That said he loves the restaurant industry, he is so passionate about good food and great cooking. His working during Covid helping restaurants by doing Triple D from home getting his kids to help film come on...AMAZING. He just comes across as a great guy, so nice, loves his family, isnt after the professional industry stuff like a michelin star but is way happier getting a Hollywood star and having a msssive party with fans. Give me live music, a bar, frirnds and family, live music over some snooty meal any day.
I’ve never eaten at any of Guy’s restaurants but I love Triple D. It’s my feel good show. Positive, fun, and showcases so many great restaurants most of us can actually afford.
I've eaten at a few, all were mediocre to horrible. My cousin and his wife took a road trip across the country for their sons wedding. They planned the route to stop at as many of the DDD restaurants s they could. Two states in and four restaurants they abandoned the DDD theme.....All just OK.
I really enjoy long form interviews. This one had my attention the whole time. He may get a bad rap for the way he looks but he seems like a genuinely nice guy and enjoys what he does. Great interview.
Guy and me are the same age, I just discovered that and this interview. My father also died of pancreatic cancer, except his wage war, and he only had three months to live. Guy was really fortunate that his dad hung on for six years after the discovery of pancreatic cancer. I am only halfway through this interview, but I find it very interesting to get a closer look at Guy Fieri and his life.
Such an amazing story. Giving it back is so awesome. I’ve always love your personality and the restaurant recommendations. But dang…fabulous lessons. Bless you!
The more I find out about Guy the more i appreciate him i also am self made my parents weren't hippies but poor musicians my folks weren't as productive on basic living strategies as Guy's family. I learned to cook beyond what my mother showed me when i was a butcher in high school and college my knowledge took off 🚀 I grind my own beef and sausage one can control quality this way buy bulkier cuts vacuum pack n freeze ...
It’s so fascinating because I’ve seen what supportive parents can do for a child. I had the most terrible zero support parents a person can have. I’ve seen first hand how that affects a person. On the other hand I couldn’t have been more supportive to my kids. And they simply couldn’t care less … But when you get supportive parents with a kid like him who has ambitions well you get what he has for a life.
I love that Guy honours his father. I praise God every day for my father. Find a way to serve, make someone else the subject of success and journal your story. That is how GOOD beats evil every time.
❤❤❤❤ From Trinidad and Tobago! This was an awesome interview. Loved you already and we love u now even more. Layers to this guy. Ive never listenes to anything so long on you tube🎉
I love DDD, and I was beginning to wonder who this “Guy” was. Perfect timing and very interesting. Congrats to a California son making good. Nice insight on his upbringing and work ethic. Didn’t know he himself was a chef, just knew he could charm anyone and he is an expert on food. But dude is so much more. Best wishes
Guy your a down to earth caring human being who is totally inspiring. I watched this interview today and it really touched me. You are right resturants are community. God bless you. ❤ 🙏.
One of the best interviews I've listened to! Many people think Guy is some hippie reject that happened upon his success! This interview proved everyone, who thought that, wrong! Guy Fieri, you rock brother! "The tree only grows tall by the strength of it's roots"! God bless you Guy! You are a standing oak tree for our humanity!!!
You’re lucky your mum still has her facilties. My dad hung on to her with cancer and fell over in the hospital when I was checking him out and passed. Left me with sorting her out with a bed as she had dementia. Then there’s the siblings and working it all out. They lived 6hrs away and now mum is safe in a home but hard to visit her as so far away and costs a lot. Love from Syd Aus. ❤️
cant help but also cry when he tells the story of asking his wife Lori To marry me....Guy is a man ive loved and adored all thru his career... thank you so much for being as down to earth throughout all the years
I love guy shows like diners, drive-ins, and dives. I think it's the best but honestly, I wasn't really a fan of him just I've seen him in a few things where I thought he was standoffish and not really great person but this open my eyes to him. I'm much bigger fan now, I love it. I love the sounds of his father and his relationship where his dad would be pointing out things saying what does that do how does that work? Absolutely love it not only that I just feel like I've got a new perspective on his personality and he may come off a little different standoffish whatever Can tell he's a good man. He's there for his family and close friends/partners in business not employees. I love that attitude too.
When he first came on the scene, I found him likeable and interesting. My wife, not so much, because there was a bit too much "bling". After this interview, it's clear he's an individual that is more interesting and a positive person that I would have ever understood. I'm so very glad he's doing what he's has been doing. Keep at it Guy and thank you Graham!
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Right on, Guy. Any kind of help. John Wayne on the big screen, doing it all by himself and walking away unscathed is a fantasy. Reality is, we all need each other.
The wife decided we were going on a Carnival Cruise with Co-Worker's, first thing we did was go straight to Guy's Burger Joint - We were hooked the best hamburger I have ever had. Now I find myself wanting to go to Guy's Restaurants across the Nation.
Also, everyone might think the ultimate goal is celebrity...I think the key is having a management team and agents. Why don't more people have agents not just entertainment or athletes. If we all had agents and a team to support our dreams the sky is the limit. @guyfieri open a management agency...and support people who are not in entertainment or athletes.
The best burger I ever had was at Guys restaurant in the Villages in Florida. We was visiting and I ask where to get the best Burger. A lady said Guys place. I didn’t know it was Guy Fieri restaurant. It had melted Blue Cheese, Pickles, Onions, on a toasted bun, with a Sweet Thai Chili Sauce to pour over it on the side. OMG!! I have ordered that same Burger a hundred times at different restaurants, but it’s never the same. We live in Indiana and I will Fly to Florida just to eat that Burger from Guy’s in the Village’s. Not sure why it taste so different, but no place has been able to duplicate it. I never dreamed Sweet Thai Chili would work on a Burger. I think it offsets the Blue Cheese. If you order a Blue Cheese bacon burger, order Sweet Thai Chili sauce to pour on it. It will Change your life on a hamburger. No other cheese, just Blue Cheese.
Hey @Graham Beninger, I owe you a huge apology. I made a comment about having to watch this interview in bits and pieces. I thought you never posted a full interview. I'm really sorry man, I'm a total moron for not looking before I made my comment. This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen. I'd heard a lot of negative things about Guy over the years. This interview proves that he is 100% down to earth and a very good human being. Thank you and Guy for bringing this to us. His house and the car collection are beyond amazing. I'm always very happy to see anyone have great financial success. It makes me even more happy when they turn out to be quiet giants like Guy. Cheers, and again my bad for not doing the work before making a snide comment. You're really good at this stuff. You allow your guest to speak their entire thought without interrupting, That's a rarity these days.

Only Sonoma County residents know the true Guy. He gives of himself relentlessly and never seeks praise or notoriety from his actions both large and small that make our community better.
I seen that during the pandemic guy paid all his employees really cool guy.
This should be mandatory for every high school kid to watch….so very positive on so many levels.
I never watch anything for THREE HOURS !!! I enjoyed every minute of it... Thanks.
And you still haven't, this was 2 and a half.....

Thanks!
What a great interview!!❤!!
I challenge anyone to watch this and still hate on Guy. Amazing guy.
Guy is a complete doucher
I don't think its hate. His shtick \TV character is like nails on a chalkboard to many. I like Guy when he's just talking, but I can't watch his show.
Unbelievable interview, thumbs up! 👍👍👍
Great interview ❤
One of the best interviews I've listened to! Many people think Guy is some hippie reject that happened upon his success! This interview proved everyone, who thought that, wrong! Guy

Fantastic interview! It was interesting to learn how Guy moved through the different phases of his life. Thanks for sharing.
What a cool guy!! Great interview
Great talk - I watched the whole thing. Speaking of watch - he didn't mention his raging watch obsession.
Seems like a good guy who deserves all his success!
Love Guy’s stories ❤🎉😂🎉❤
Great interview. Gained tons of insight into what makes Guy tick. Increased respect for him amc what he does for others.
Legendary Guy!
This made my day
This guy is an amazing human
A great interview of a great human.
Holy cow!!! Guy is amazing person.
@guyfieri says a lot when you mentor your team and they thrive to the point where they go out on their own. That is your legacy.
Great interview. Guy is a Gee!
Best interview ever!
Man i had no idea nothing but mad respect.
Guy is right. Everyone has God given gifts. They are talked about in the Bible. God Bless!
Guy is taking his ‘gifts’ to Bruce Jenner his new girlfriend/boyfriend!
I love Guy Fieri
Love this interview and I wish I had more restaurant experience
This dude has had a life! Wow - he should write a book. awesome guy
The wife decided we were going on a Carnival Cruise with Co-Worker's, first thing we did was go straight to Guy's Burger Joint - We were hooked the best hamburger I have ever had. Now I find myself wanting to go to Guy's Restaurants across the Nation.
I’ll tell ya…..there are far better burgers than a Guy Fieri burger joint on a cruise……
@secondbest2877 they were unimpressive.
A cruise with your wife's co workers..where the fck they work
Guy might be the living embodiment of “inspirational” and “amazing character”
He seems like a great guy

Lots of great nuggets Guy. Such Wisdom.
Awesome 👏

Google Ferndale Ca… I know times are different but it was a upper middle class community years ago
What Guy does outside the cooking world, no other chef does and this is why he is the best. He thinks of others before himself.
0:29 so weird to see him older I loved his show as a kid
Amazing Human ❤❤❤
"I was stirring the Kool Aid with my arm because the dog took my stick" is probably my favorite story bit in this entire thing.
