Graig that back window with the rad in it.i think it would look cool with a louvered cover on it and if you put alot of slits it shouldnt even affect cooling ability.but would help deflect sand of radiator cause sand will just slide off,but air can still be pulled in.just a thought decided to throw out there.snooky pa.
It’s insane the work you do for someone who has taught themselves everything they know. Really impressive and amazing to watch you design and develop these custom pieces. Keep up the cool and awesome work Craig
just get an affordable bender, isn't ideal or the best, but its under 500 with a die and it will get you by pretty well. I built a whole baja bug with one. it can be upgraded with a air over hydaulic bottle jack and makes it even better.
Inspiring build fr. You can take a torch with map gas and and gloss out the rough cut edges of that acrylic for an extra touch that looks premium. But the rough cut (matte) edge will light up better because it "stops" the light
11:00 See, I'd extend the fender starting point all the way to the lower rear corner of the door. Makes it look even bigger/cooler, AND it's more (theoretically) aerodynamic.
"Cause I'm Bob the freaking builder "🤣 Craig I been watching you for years man. From back when you first started this crazy adventure. You seriously inspire me to work on my projects and hell maybe try the TH-cam with my projects too. Anyways I appreciate all the work and content you and your team produces!
With that wild wing on there, it'd be kinda cool to do a dorsal fin type thing on the roof out of the same acrylic. I'd love to do something with this on my bug, but it's a convertible convertible
I think you should take a scrap of that acrylic and sand one side with 600 grit or spray it with some matte clear coat and see how much more it will light up. Same for the edges. They should have a frosted appearance and where the led’s are mounted, polish the edges to allow maximum amount of light to enter the acrylic. It is acting like a fiber optic.
wat you couldve done on those corners is guess where the horizontal bar buts against it and transfer the circle over the point , then go to the verry rear of the corner and draw lines from the corners of the circle you drawn on there down to the fardest point and cut the triangle off the point then make the ends of the horizontal bar so the quarter circle you transfered to the corner ends up as a flap passed the cut where it gets welded to the front of the back/vertical part once you have the bottom 3/5 pipe welded you can hit and shape the flap so it fills in the triangle you cut out the corner , gives it a smoother transition fron rount intoo a rounded hexagon corner
Sorry, if i missed it, but make sure that you have some protection behind you from that radiator overheating and spewing hot liquid all over you! I remember a few years ago, that happened to a dude at a Cleetus and Cars burnout contest. They even changed the cooling in the Mystery Machine because of it.
One day you will be able to comfortably afford a pipe bender. Keep up the work buddy👊🏼🤘🏼. Ps I hate fords and am a die hard Chevy fan but maaaan I can’t help but to love your first f100 lol sounds so pissed iff
Im afraid the wing will be shattered from ture throwing stuff up during first ride. No cam gear covers give me anxiety from debris going in the timing belt 😂

The wing and fenders came out bad ass. I really like this little car.
Favorite build series!! My dream is to have a baja bug like this…keep making update videos on this bug it’s so rad!🤘🏼

Dude that back wing will be sick! Should try to have the headlights match and/or interior in that same kinda orangish/yellow color
Roge fab has a tube bender kit for right around $1000 and I’ve seen a lot of other TH-camrs use it and like it

Such a great attitude towards these projects. Love it.
Loving this build, super sick!
I’m enjoying all the VW content, it’s coming along nicely with your changes . Keep up the great work. Cheers 🇨🇦

" DO IT!!". Love that, Craig. Thanks
Retired fitter and those joints looks fantastic for what you’re using it for. 👍🏼

Favorite videos from you in a while. 👍🏻
Looks killer! Dreams into reality, unique ideas and fab on the fly is my favorite way to build. Good work!
Good work man! Really enjoying the channel, keep it up!
Not even into buggys all like that but I love me a good build video. Def following can't wait to see what it'll turn into. 👏
Yes, a louvered back window cover would look cool .Old school Louvers
this is why you went to school for 6 years and still learning. i wish i knew even part of what you’ve forgotten!
One of my favorite builds. Love it man.

The bug is sick! Playing Wreckfest on xbox it looks like Bugzilla without the spikes lol . Great fun to be had in that Bug can;t wait to see thanks
You have been bitten buy the bug(LOL) . You do these thing because it is you passion. Keep up the great work!😁👍
Put led strips on the part of the yellow acrylic that touches the body, it’ll light it up nice

I need that Holley clock in my garage, pretty slick.
I love this bug content.

Do you plan on putting lighting either on the wing or below it for like chase/brake lights?
Wazzup w the galaxy??
Looking good!
great stuff thanks, nice work on the bug
Greg got bug turned out awesome dude you did a wonderful job man keep on keeping on man I can't wait to see it when it's done
HEY CRAIG That's. Awesome great detail and thinking
Don’t even watch the video before I like, second I click it’s liked, high quality content every time!

ive been waiting for this video
A little spray paint goes a longgg way lol! My kind of build ✊🏽
Great work guys
Yes that wing is badass
If I'm not mistaken you can use a heat gun on acrylic and it'll be more flexible
Gold intake would go with gold aircleaner on the F100
...how do you remove the new rear cage? you know, in case you need to remove the motor. Nice welds!
Were is The Galaxie?
For the brake lights, you should do some type of LED strip F1 inspired.
Baja Bug time!!!!👍🏻👍🏻
Very coool !!!!
Gussets would add a lot of strength to them welded joints.
Cam Pulleys need to be gold
Leeeeetsss gooo craiiig🔥🔥
How much down force can that wing handle?
dont build the same thing as everybody else. damned right. great job
Dude!!!! Sick!!!!
Yes indeed Awesome
looking sweet
Are you gonna be able to pull the motor out without having to cut all your back half off?
" Bob- the freakin' builder". 😂😂😂 That's reaching WAY the fuck back...
Im afraid the wing will be shattered from ture throwing stuff up during first ride. No cam gear covers give me anxiety from debris going in the timing belt 😂
Badass brother
Needs a gold poly visor now to match
Do you still have those Galaxies?
Badass love it
Kevin from junkyard digs sent me!
A miter cut roll cage is better than no cage at all
Looks like there is enough room for 2 more cylinders.....
More Baja content
Wrinkle paint the valve covers and intake.
👍
Sharp edges on a bug? Come on man
Shop is a disaster.
