Way back in the early 80's, I had KC Hi-Lites on my truck, two on the overhead light bar and two on the front brush bar. On the way home one evening, a car approaching me had his high beams on. I flashed my high beams on and off to get him to dim his lights. When he didn't, I turned all 4 lights on. I lit up a GA. State Trooper. I was just a short distance from home and when I pulled up to the house, he pulled in right behind me. He wasn't very happy and when he asked me why I blinded him, I told him he wouldn't dim his high beams and he was blinding me. So I did what I could to see where I was going. Thankfully, he was understanding and didn't write me up. He actually apologized. Those KC lights were awesome back then.

Am i the only one that caught the sassy the sasquatch reference?!?! "Whadiyatalkinabeet" right on the dash!! I want so bad to put that on my build somewhere and its nice to see that in other places, especially in other peoples videos that inspire my own creativity. Yall are killing it!!
Make sure you take your heat gun and melt a hole in the center of the caps back in the day there wasn’t one light in all off SD that didn’t have the centers of the fabric melted out from leaving the switch on give it the true old school look 😍😂
She needed a visor off of an old Ford deluxe sedan... bent and curved to fit the bug and light bracket welded on top of that. Light bracket needs to curved and bend to match the top too
I think I'm as hyped as you. This build is totally rad. What a fantastic makeover. Can't wait to see a video of the rig running the dunes at night. Giving this one a strong hard +10
i dig it a lot how your content bridges generations and doesnt diss any of them. i would have never thought to put a honda engine in a bug, it was turbo'd bus engines or porsche engines but a honda engine is very smart and sounds surprisingly perfect. i wish someone would chop up a lexus suv grocery getter with its schmancy interior but baja 500 the engine and suspension etc. great job. fun to watch. hard to believe its the same yard art.
The BUG BUILD looks amazing 👌. I am inspired now to build one but being up here in EDMONTON ALBERTA everything cost just a little more ! Still its an itch I need to scatch and it won't seem to go away Great video content and I can't wait to see it in the dunes !

As much as the front lifts, you might want to put a set on the front of the car pointing about 10 or so degrees down from horizontal. Maybe a nice flood, and not light a pencil-beam driving light.
I'm old enough to remember when K.C. Hilites was in Saugus, California. The story I've always heard how they came up with the company name was the letters of the husband and wife names K, C. Is that true? I can't say yes or no.
