Bhai Baldeep Singh sings a rare Dhurpad in a unique version of Raga Desi Todi as sung and taught by the legendary Ustad, Sangeet Samund Bhai Batan Singh of village Mehli, erstwhile principality of Kapurthala. This composition was taught to him in 1995 by his luthier mentor, Gyani Harbhajan Singh of village Dandian, Hoshiarpur, who was the youngest student of the legendary maestro.
This is an impromptu session and only the first time that the Manganiar musicians actually heard this Dhurpad composition from Bhai Baldeep Singh.
