- On May 12, 2016, I visited the residence of my uncle, Sardar Hardial Singh IAS (Retd.) to sing for the well being and speedy recovery of aunt Bibi Pritpal Kaur. I sang the shabad in Raga Malhar, an original of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Maharaj, set in Chartal, and followed the same shabad with this composition in Raga Bhairao, set in Drut (speedy) Chautal (12-beats), aka Yakka, in Punjabi.

{PS: The young Hargeet Singh is the son of my long time associate and tabla maestro, Dr. Paramjit Singh, who serves at the Music Department, Punjab University, Chandigarh. Rajinder Singh you are nobody to judge whose style is best. You can have your own taste in music but you cannot criticize an artist just because his art style is not your favorite. I ask humbly. Can Narayan/Krishna be identified with the akal purukh ? Asking as the Granth Sahib seems littered with addressing the divine in Vaishnav terms.

‘Go’ is not ‘cow’ but Brahma -Akāl Purakh. Gopal, Gobind and others aren’t Krishna names but yes, Vaishnavites have appropriated these ‘Karam Nāma’ Of Parmesarā for their own deities.
@@bhaibaldeep bhai sahib scholars like pandit tara singh nirotam believed these terms were used for bhagwan (sirgun roop of akal purkh) and what about other references like dhan mata devki ..............or kehet maa yashodh jise ........ moreover the idea that akal purkh is only nirgun not sirgun was in early 1900s by neo sikh like sahib singh before that there are depictions of various devtas in birs of guru maharaj including damdami bir of guru gobing singh ji
