Do you recommed this printer? I'm tempted to take advantage of the Cyber-Monday deal but would had to scrap my reliable old HP printer for an Epson with problems. Thanks.
Hello, I am trying to print designs in A3 format but my prints keep coming out cuts out from the sides. I set up my printer setting as A3 and I have Epson ET8550. What should I do?
This is the same problem I having and I'm wasting so many films! I cannot get it to print a whole 13x19 sheet and when it does it starts to only do half and cuts off part of the image.. the only time it prints a whole image is if it's super small I'm trying to print out a whole film (like I used to with cadlink)
Your max print size is 12x17 if you took the rollers out. Try printing on normal paper in the rip, if it works then you have to clean your paper feeding rollers
AWESOME this helps me make a better choice in printers. Does the settings have a place to chose manual feed or auto feed or maybe auto detect ,for the film to be feed in
Yes you want to have it set to manual and rear feeder. Auto feed probably won't work because you need to be there to put the paper in front of the film when its going in.
th-cam.com/video/WmLn5FDxZtA/w-d-xo.html That's One way of shaking the ink and the easiest. No and i don't print everyday. Yeah by people that don't have the printer or have never used an ecotank for DTF
@@Blqman989 Great, I haven't had to do any besides the regular printhead cleans and the printer has an advance print head clean I did that function 2x. Its been about a month.
Yes i have, however the issue can be caused by various reasons, communication between the pc/rip and printer, film, settings, etc without troubleshooting, I can't say for sure.
@@HangryMuscle it has to be a film issue. Because i can print perfect on A4 sheet. But when i use the roll the paper is a bit thinner and only prints down the middle
Sure, in Acrorip make sure you have the correct printer selected in the printer tab and also that your channels are set correctly in the color tab. In white tab make sure 100% white under any color object is selected.
Hello, I’m having problems with my white! I have it set up Kwcymw and it’s not printing white. Do you have social media, it will be easier to message. Please help.🙏🏼

best solution to this problem is to clean the rollers, and blow the dirt, if you dont have a blower like me, use the natural blower (your mouth) works perfectly fine.
I wish I had seen this 5 headaches ago!! THANK YOU!!! almost sold everything ! lol
7 mins and still watching the printhead go back and forth for 63% of the video!
I tried to put a piece of paper on bottom edge of dtf film and it works.
I have a paper jam and my ET-8550 with Cadlink just prints about and inch down the middle of the 13x19 sheet
Same. U find the fix?

how you solve the problem?

@@HangryMuscle do you have a video on how to clean those? I removed the rollers but I'm not sure where the paper feeder rollers are
@@diazwifeyy8316 I don't, but the problem may actually be the paper width sensor and that's located underneath the printhead.
Miracle for sure!!!! Thank you Thank You!!!!!!!!

wow, this is awesome but how do you shake the ink? Do you get clogs often with this printer? Everyone told me eco-tanks couldn't be used for DTF

which printer do you recommend the epson xp 15000 or the ET-8550?
Et-8550
@@HangryMuscle what other printers work for dtf, I am unable to find an ET 8550. Do you know if Epson P7000 works?
Yo! My man is fire 🔥😁😄
thank you
How is the Maintenance with an Eco tank, since there isn't a cartridges to shake?

Are you doing print head cleaning everyday?
@@Blqman989 no I've only had to do 3 or 4 so far
This works but it messes up your fil a bit everytime u do this method
Did you find another way to solve this problem?
Use tape or clean your feeding rollers
so,is this same problem that ive got? where the printer just crops the image to just a slice?
Yes, its Acrorip could be the cause.
@@HangryMuscle seems like a compression issue to me unless ..can i sennd you the same file and see if it prints in your software?
Have u found a solution? Mine just prints the slice in middle

How many breathes does it take? 🌬😄

Great.
It has black smudges on it. Horrible printer
The smudges are from the paper not the printer.
