I’m so happy that my Archmage Ant-Onidas card got a laugh out of Rarran. Who knew that something I made 4 years ago would bring me joy again.

I'm glad so many people liked the card, I saw people ask what is the flavor so I will leave a detailed explanation on both the flavor and the reason I made the card the way it is:
Naxxramas is a floating necropolis, controlled by the Scourge who is led by the Lich King. Kel'Thuzad, a necromancer resurrected by the Lich King who he now serves, got dominion over Naxxramas. It is filled with the like of undead and necromancers , so I decided to make the location necromancy themed which is why it resurrects minions. The class that best depicts necromancy in my opinion was Warlock, so I chose that class for the card, and since Warlocks are known to sacrifice their own minions for their own benefit, I included that in the card as well.
this was one of two cards that made me say “this is a mtg card”, u play mtg? great design tho

I absolutely lol'd when I saw "Normal Human Man". Fits the humorous side of HS perfectly. It would be a crime NOT to add it into the game

I still think the renouncer is still my favourite. It's basically a 1 card deck, and I would totally play it for fun!

I think the format of "king of the hill" favors cards shown later, because chat is going to just naturally get bored of what's been on top *eventually*
But can't complain, always love custom cards regardless
Yeah, I didn't like the formatting much either. I'd have to see how Trump does it (if it is still streamed that is) because I vastly prefer a long standing view on a card than a versus battle between a decent card and flavorful mid.
7:15 Too Long; Didn't Read would probably be really frustrating to face in certain combo decks. This could replace effects that are meant to balance an overstatted minion with taunt. The Darkness is probably the worst offender, but there are others.
I was happy to see a Fin Fang Foom reference in a hearthstone custom card, and it was so subtle.
Kind of weird that Normal Human Man got so far without anyone mentioning that it's just Wobbling Runts cut in half? Almost feels like it should be veto-ed for the same reason as Tomb Rager, pretty much the same idea already exists in the game
Think I'd have to give it to one of the more creative ideas that appeared along the way, Dr. Murkenstein was a really cool one that I could see getting printed

Miss Spelt is such a good card. Even the Spells it creates are different tot he original one. Amazing!

You cant change the 3 hp on the normal human man because it’s 3 murlocs under the coat
Also can't make it a Murloc because that would mean people can see through the disguise, which contradicts the flavor text that came with it
I think the pup is better than both, however, after a certain point all the cards are phenomenal and it’s just about preference.
Side note -
After a while, I feel like people watching the stream just want to have something new on top of the hill and that can sway their votes and create a bias over which card they actually prefer. The order in which cards were shown could’ve potentially changed their opinions on the cards.

I like the Normal Human Man. It just feels like a Hearthstone card
Note: the problem with too long, didn’t read is you just draw the darkness and then it’s broken

Nah, rotgill has shown that turning the super aggro version of mrrglshaman into a somewhat more tempo oriented deck by adding some top end is actually really valid. And this would fix that awkward 'running out of mrrgljuice on turn 5 or 6' problems you ocassionally run into when your refresh fizzles. I think this would be a very welcome addition and would diversify the murloc decks a bit more.
It doesn't give away board for a turn because you still drop a 4/4 and get armor, and really, in a chaff deck like murlocs, you can never have enough refreshing resources. That's why we play underbelly angler, even though it _never_ hits value.
This is a very fun and nostalgic video, but I feel like looking at best all time isn’t the best way to do this, since a lot of the top cards are quite outdated. I feel like it would it be better to look at the top cards in the past year, as those would be much more relevant to modern hearthstone.

arcane barrier can be way more th 7 armor too. since its and arcane spell and is effeted by spell damage you could board clear and get like 3 armor thats sick for mage

Normal Human man would have been better if they gave it the 'Human' Tag. Obviously this would have 0 synergies outside of generic tags (like nzoth) but it wouldve added to the flavor. If it had that it wouldve won in my book, otherwise yeah the naga wins

The living mountain in priest would be awful to play against. Based on wording poison would be the only counter, especially after the hp starts ramping up
24.20 How is Living Mountain an OTK? It’s just a 3/15 Taunt.
And a destroy effect is an effect that sats “destroy” I don’t see how that’s confusing.
24:07 "OTK if it survives one turn" uhh excuse me? Can you even read? This is nothing more than a low attack tank that prevents you from taking swing damage for a while... It's also worded very clearly... Horrible bias against this card

Mr Rarran, I know this isn't supposed to be a super serious video but if you always match the same card against a new one that's a really bad system for finding the best card. A card that comes all the way at the end only needs to 'win' once, while a card that shows up early would need to win against a shit ton of other cards
You should do the custom cards more often or make it a series it was fun

I made a custom card :3 Murmur. Mage 5 mana 5/5 elemental legendary Start of Game: if all spells in your deck are even, your elementals have echo.
Ok but put clever salesgoblin in wild that would solve the issue of it not being beginner friendly and would open the door for straight to wild cards
Rarran !! I think i have found a fun little idea for you, can you try to win a game in the wild format with decimator olgra? Idea is pretty simple if there is a literally full board you play wihrlwind (1dmg to all minions) and then battlerage to olgra. I think 9 mana to deal 16 dmg to ALL enemies and not dying is pretty fun.

Normal human man may be a great card, but the lack of a rarity is a simple design flaw that makes the naga much better and the best custom card, as it feels like its part of heartstone.
Amazon shipping should be a beast card called carrier pigeon which should be a one cost 1x1 pigeon that-Battle cry in two turns draw 2 cards
im not sure what the confusion was on the living mountain. if the card says destroy on it, it cant be destroyed by it
My problem with these cards is that no artist is given credit for the art itself on some of these cards

Last resort, Discover:Discovers! Start with discovering among Spell - Minion - Weapon ie ...then if Spells, discover Schools, then actual spells. Minion > discover among types...and so on...would totes play it

Any card saying "If you’re holding a dragon" would work if you control this minion (even if you are not holding a dragon). Same for elemtals last turn

Some cards have "if you are holding a dragon" or "if you played an elemental last turn" as a condition to activate their effects, Clever salesgoblin causes the effects to activate even if you do not meet the requirements

I don't think "too long, didn't read" is actually a balanced card, there are quite a few low cost, high stat minions that have card text for a downside.
Normal Human Man winner of the last two by far. Coral Armorsmith is a generic "Yeah, that's fine" card. Pup should have won though

I don't think you accounted for balance enough. For example, the sneak attack card, 0 mana spell that deals 2 in rogue, to anything, is so horribly overpowered it's ridiculous. If you can cast it after combo it's even worse. Rogue has way too many spell, combo, and 0 cost synergies for something of that calibre to ever be printed. Also light bow, giving HUNTER of all classes a 3 mana fireball (granted its on a weapon) is a terrible idea, not to mention you can run two of these, giving hunter a 5 mana pyroblast with 2 damage to spare, also its a battlecry, its a spell, its weapon synergy, just no. Liked the vid but holy you gotta consider what cards do to the classes. Flavour isn't everything.
Another thing about sneak attack, you have TWO OF THEM. Imagine rogue a couple of weeks ago with two extra 0 mana do nothing spells, insanity.
