With how often Rarran has pulled "the change is that this word is **Bold** in the real card" I don't think he has room to complain about the italics.
Havent watched the whole thing yet but i finally have to leave a comment on this channel. Please please please do more with leo, that guy is so likeable and the chemistry between the 2 of you is insane, such a pleasure to watch videos with the 2 of you.

I like that Leo had more unchanged cards than Rarran normally does and it messed with him so badly.

difference between "can't take damage" and "immune", is that immune also prevents you from being frozen, for example when hitting a Water Elemental...

Question 3 had at least 2 answers: the other is Galakrond's Awakening - no murlocs, but there is a paladin dragon giving them divine shield. I thought that was heavily hinted at with "give a murloc (blank)".

I thought Bogshaper was wrong because it has the elemental tag but other bog beasts don't. So I looked it up and the Hearthstone wiki specifically called this out as an inconsistency as well
It’s pretty all over the place with bog creatures. In hearthstone, most notable elementals are derived from earth (as in rock) water, fire, air (plus storm). the flora looking ones, with exception of bogslosher, bogshaper and canal slogger which are labelled elemental, are more so just considered big ass sentient plants that should also be elemental, but just aren’t
@@coatsman5471 I think the wow creatures are considered to be elementals, so they should be elementals on the card.
Bogshaper was the only answer that I was 100% sure about, loved it in Hagatha decks back then. #1 Bogshaper stan right here

I actually got the fossilized one bc I looked through the cards when dual types were updated and I noticed it changed to 'another' and realized the logic for it. So when I saw it in this video I immediately knew it was wrong.

What's extra funny about the astral tiger is rarran used it in a previous one with gallon and got him with the exact detail that tripped rarran up this time.

@2:55 I didn't know they were SO many skins these days. As you were puzzling it out, my brain was on Rogue or Paladin for 2nd solely because I remember Maiev and Liadrin being among the earlier skins. Then I was questioning maybe Shaman because Thunder King.
But they've gone through so many cycles of shop skins and preorder bundles that I wouldn't have been surprised with anything.

For question 2. The card I managed to think about that didn't have "legendary" tokens was the Dragon Soul weapon for priests that summons 5/5 dragons

Looking at Bola Shot's art. It has the spiky balls for the other minions, and rope for the main minion.
But in the end spiky balls will hit target anyway because of how bolas work.
My reasoning was "wait that's just the dino bite spell, it's got to be different".

Honestly played along for the fun of it. Honestly surprised by how well my subconscious can remember these cards.
My brain feels big sharing this but Blur could be worded the way it is because things like Freezeage effects can still cause freeze status to the hero.

You can't target things with immune, so giving immune to your hero with blur would prevent you from using targeted battlecries like heals on yourself, which would feel really bad to lose because of.
You can still target friendly immune characters. It's the same as stealth in that way.

2nd most skins my guess was Paladin so at least I was close. I knew it wasn't rogue though. Rogue has barely any.

I actually got the Junior almost immediatelt. I don't know why I know it so well. Did I open it in the packs and thus saw it a lot in my collection? Did it show up in Discovers a lot? I don't know
I 100% thought Druid would have the second most skins. That’s crazy.
This was even funnier than expected. Loved it.
That Astral Tiger question was evil, because for all of my memory of trying to make the card work it was NOT a beast, and that made it so much more obnoxious to make synergies for it other than goofy oaken/grizzly/nzoth stuff. Had it been possible to clone it with stuff like Menagerie Warden or get a draw off of it with Mark of Y'Shaarj, it would've been nice. Considering its also a card that absolutely did not see play much even during its time in standard, brutal trick.

in gwent there are cards that let you "discover" and you choose beetween 3 cards. they released a card which i thought was just ok because it had the same wording as discover would. it turns out that card can choose any other class legendary to play and it was broken af, not only beetween 3 and i avoided using it for months until i realised that
that shaman totem situation reminded me of it
The funny thing about Devilsaur was I thought "hey, doesn't that just basically read 'gain taunt'." But because it was the same as the original text, I didn't realize that was the mistake.
Respect Leo with the melee setup in the background
A good example of question two is the 3 mana 3/4 death knight legendary for triple unholy rune. (bloghtfang I think) it creates 2/2 zombies with taunt that don't have the gem because they are basic
That token is also from Tomb Guardians though so they couldn’t make them legendary tokens
ysera’s dream cards also don’t have the legendary dragon effects.

It feels consistent, though, since the wording is 'discover a spell OR pick a mystery choice' so it makes sense that it does the 3 as per normal discovery, but the 4th is the mystery choice.

I was thinking the overwatch card back doesn't have the hearthstone logo either
So, I decided to flip through my collection out of curiosity about which sets had murlocs vs which didn't. Had to stop flipping through because there is actually a SECOND right answer to that question. Galakrond's Awakening, which IS listed as a separate set from Descent of Dragons in the Collection, has no Murlocs, but has Scalelord for Paladin, which gives all your Murlocs Divine Shield. Someone probably already commented this when the video came out, but I figured since I just discovered it, I'd throw it in too lol.
