So I stumbled upon the hanon book and fell in love. Once I bought the book I them went in search of a doll to sew for. I ended up with a recast iplehouse lonnie kid. Once Lonnie arrived I noted she is 13 inches tall, sort of in between the medium and large pattern sizes. Any tips on how I make these patterns work for her. I’m just obsessed with sewing from the book more than obsessed with the exact doll. Any suggestions appreciated. New to doll sewing, but I have sewn.
Yay!! I'm so glad you liked it and that makes me so happy to hear! I know it always drives me crazy when videos take forever to explain something that should take two seconds hahaha. Thank you so much for watching
I have the Japanese version also hahah! I think they only came out with the English version recently! My Japanese version has light English translations though, and the pics are super clear!
The book is in Japanese, but the pictures are pretty easy to follow I've found! One of the projects was a little difficult to understand, but I was able to figure it out eventually hahaha
Oh! That’s an ironing Mat! It’s like a big thick felt pad, my ironing board takes up too much space and since I generally just do tiny outfits I got the felt pad to make ironing easier!
Good demo. Thanks
Thank you so much!!! I have wondered how these were made. I love your videos thank you so much Maile! :)

Hello :) I was considering buying the book you recommended and I was wondering if it was in English or easy to follow?
The book is in Japanese, but the pictures are pretty easy to follow I've found! One of the projects was a little difficult to understand, but I was able to figure it out eventually hahaha
Incredible!
can u also do this with a hair straightener?(just a question XD)
LOL actually yes Hahahaha, I’ve used my flat iron in place of a real iron in a pinch Hehehehe. Works fine and also made me feel like MacGyver lol
lol thank u
Did you just iron on your cutting board??? :0 I did that once and it warped my cutting board!

@@MaileLani thank you!! I will look into this, it's such a hassle to move the mat on/off the table 🤦🏻♀️
how do you do this on floral patterned material
You would do it the same way you would probably just have to measure if you don't feel comfortable eyeballing it! ^_^
Hello, I don't know how to sew😆 how do you do this with a need and thread?
You can do it exactly the same way! It just takes a lot longer to hand sew things 💛
Great job, but my only suggestion is that the music be just a bit softer. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt it competed too much with your voice.
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion! I'll look into it for my next one
Those are some tiny pin tucks!
