True ending is kinda good and bad at the same time cus pres and Cathy survive but Nicole and mark did not end up together which they are happy I prefer more first ending than the true ending I'm kinda selfish but that's my opinion

The fact that Cathy loves rain and she knows that Butterflies can't survive in the rain, yet she dressed as one on prom and went out to the rain makes it more sad, since she wants to unalive herself due to her toxic parents 😢😢
There were tons of hints that Cathy was hella suicidal. Obviously the hints were Cathy not wanting to go home and the scars all around her body. But there is also these hints: First - The rain (always shown throughout the game) always means as a bad omen. It can also mean death and disaster. Second - Cathy is a Pluviophile (A person who enjoys the rain). Cathy was willing to get the bad omen, and in the end, when she tried to reach out to Mark, her bad omen arrived causing her death. Depressing detail, but really fun to analyze
I'll just add some more details if I may: -Her always wanting to stay with her friends, even eat sardines with Mark even though they have the same food at home means she doesn't like in their house -Her always wearing long sleeves, Mark asked about this when they were at Thriftita, to hide her scars.
This game perhaps teaches us that we always have to look for each other as louise and mark ponder about the quantum thing that when we lost sight of someone and when the rains come that someone is liable to disappear. Mark shows that he failed to look after cath as he look after cath very insufficient he sometimes overlook cath. which is also failed to resolve whats cath going through and mark failed to notice it which is again he failed to look after her. " i was around " "But it was enough?" this dialogue implies it. and the whole idea of this story revolves around the quantum thing. I want to share more but i dont want it to be sophisticated.

The incredibly sad music that made Mark feel like "shouldn't I have noticed this sooner and intervened?" reinforce, plus the sequence of images and Mark's thoughts. It's just too real and I can never keep myself together watching this scene. The remorse and guilt you carry around with you. Especially with Cathy, who cares so much about the well-being of her friends, always tries to be there for them, to cheer them up and not to be a burden for others and not to carry the pain within herself. I think that's why Cathy is so desperately looking for a partner like Louse, Jaggy, Kate or Nicole so that she can feel loved, which she doesn't feel at home. I can understand Mark's feelings. My friend and classmate didn't actually commit suicide in front of me, but at some point her parents exaggerated and killed her. But the feeling of not having paid enough attention to the wounds, bruises and swelling beforehand is similar, I guess. A friend once told me "The quiet ones are the ones who have suffered the most pain." And somehow that's true.

My heart sank when Mark confided about losing his mother. It brought back memories of when my own grandma passed away. I couldn't accept it and started to imagine she was still with us.

Just watching Catherine die made me emotional, it feels like a rollercoaster full of events. The story was very well made! Thank you developers for making such a wonderful game😢😊

However, I've started to regain control over my life and I've started developing a game with my friends, and I'm starting the work on my story's script this fall. I realized that Cathy's explanation on how a butterfly dies under rain can be a foreshadowing of her own death. Since the details of her death are similar to how a butterfly dies under rain. Cathy's death made me cry and I rarely cry because of media.

The chills of the first ending huhuhuhuhuhu I'm happy that i still have a week of vacation because i can binge watch this~~~~~ Cathy's death is the saddest of it all since at the very end, you can easily see that even though she's a goofball and a rambunctious one, she has that "behind friend" energy where that friend of yours is always at the back, quiet and will mostly observe everyone in your group I didn't think that i'll get this hook to the characters even though sometimes they aren't even the main focus Hope that in this new timeline or new memory, we can see everyone, especially Nicole and Mark (Cathy as well), get that Happy Ending that they deserve Thanks for playing this again Gloco, play more of these in the future if you can still find games like these
I'm amazed that kuya Gloco did not cry while looking into all the Missing reports about her mother and Messages that mark sent to his missing (prob dead) mother, I'm so amazed of his professionalism, and on the other side, look at me, I'm A mess, I'm crying Nonstop. And I'm crying for a "Fictional" characters, it just shows how much of a Masterpiece this game truly is.. Fuck I'm crying Nonstop. Edit 2, Catherine's death Destroyed me, I've been crying until the end, specially when Mark played the missing voice recorded by Catherine. 78.4% of this 3hs and 38mins video made me cry.
Just finished watching your gameplay for the 1sy cycle and it was a 10/10 journey for me. Rollercoaster of emotions, kilig moments, and confusing theories but overall it was so Good. and I cried on Mark's backstory about his mom ( which i didnt expect) but MOSTLY CRIED ON CATH'S ( i got spoiled by this but still 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 ) before, during, after Cath's event i just cried then after then. Even after watching this playthorugh i cried too. Made me realized that i am grateful for things and i have more things to do P.s. shame on Cath's family tho they suckk
I can feel your emotions in this ending. 😅 They really did right with the characters in this story. I really felt how young yet mature nicole and mark was, especially with cathy as well. I can feel that their experiences and backstories really make who they were and not just a filler like anything I've usually been seeing these days. But man do I hate sad endings man. Though I admit that they really captured how to make us feel sad. I've never been so invested in such a story before. Loved the playthrough.🥰 It's been a journey. The rain part in the beginning is about her mom not Cathy's and the racing part it's a replay he let mark win not an AI UNTIL THEN is Cathy's tagline right from the beginning.

dude, the realisation i got when Louise messaged Mark. (hypothesis) ig the loop explains how the "deja vu" or "deja cu" thing works, so basically the reason why Mark feels they already know some characters (like Nicole), is bc it's the 2nd time you're playing as Mark Borja, and you alr know the characters inside the game. And maybe that's why the devs didn't reveal the answers to the mystery of the memories and shi.
Thank you for playing the game Gloco. Among all the characters, I resonated with Cathy so much. On the outside all smiles and laughter, but on the inside its all pain. When Cathy died, I cannot stop crying as if it felt like something inside me also died. Kudos to the developers.

Cathy's death is the saddest of it all since at the very end, you can easily see that even though she's a goofball and a rambunctious one, she has that "behind friend" energy where that friend of yours is always at the back, quiet and will mostly observe everyone in your group
I didn't think that i'll get this hook to the characters even though sometimes they aren't even the main focus
Hope that in this new timeline or new memory, we can see everyone, especially Nicole and Mark (Cathy as well), get that Happy Ending that they deserve

Edit 2, Catherine's death Destroyed me, I've been crying until the end, specially when Mark played the missing voice recorded by Catherine. 78.4% of this 3hs and 38mins video made me cry.
Just finished watching your gameplay for the 1sy cycle and it was a 10/10 journey for me. Rollercoaster of emotions, kilig moments, and confusing theories but overall it was so Good.
and I cried on Mark's backstory about his mom ( which i didnt expect) but MOSTLY CRIED ON CATH'S ( i got spoiled by this but still 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 ) before, during, after Cath's event i just cried then after then. Even after watching this playthorugh i cried too.
Made me realized that i am grateful for things and i have more things to do

They really did right with the characters in this story.
I really felt how young yet mature nicole and mark was, especially with cathy as well. I can feel that their experiences and backstories really make who they were and not just a filler like anything I've usually been seeing these days. But man do I hate sad endings man. Though I admit that they really captured how to make us feel sad.
I've never been so invested in such a story before. Loved the playthrough.🥰

ig the loop explains how the "deja vu" or "deja cu" thing works, so basically the reason why Mark feels they already know some characters (like Nicole), is bc it's the 2nd time you're playing as Mark Borja, and you alr know the characters inside the game. And maybe that's why the devs didn't reveal the answers to the mystery of the memories and shi.
Indeed when a player plays it all over again it becomes a dejavu to the characters but different plot and new path
