There's 4th ending when Cathy is alive, mark and nicole married and have a child together and everybody just go into a school reunion and they celebrate it together with a huge smile on their faces. Then mark just says out of nowhere " I'm glad, the world hasn't ended yet "
If you want to unlock this, all you have to do is to have determination and pure imagination to accept this ending as a reality in your head.

I just cope with my headcanon😞 since they made it into open ending. And I'd say they will end up together again!! Theory below!!
Theory:
In the ending scene, we can see maria and jake together, watching them together, or lets say, they are the reason why they end up in the same cafe with their "temporary date", just a 1 step closer to their meeting. In the cafe, it's Mark's 4th date, and we all know why it keeps failing, because he is destined to be with someone else(nicole) and we can see nicole riding alone in the back of a car, this heavily suggested that nicole is on a temporary/meetup date as well. Maria and jake being there is one of the proof, fulfilling their promises that they will meet again. They are destined to meet, but maria and jake interference, rushing their meeting making the world collapse, Since they are no longer grieving over they lost, the world will no longer collapse when they meet in the final timeline. Just glimpse of each other, finding that spark, making it their destiny to be together. The name of the cafe is "tadhana cafe" or destiny cafe, also a proof that suggest that their destiny together will happen with just a glimpse, they are destined together, additionally with the assistance of maria and jake. If it was kapalaran/fate, it would've been a different story, since fate is something that we cant control/change. They have been together for hundred of lifetimes, they are technically soulmates, they will find each other, igniting that spark, and be together again.
Headcanon: they will fail their temporary date and they can easily bump into each other soon after. Glancing at each other, will make them familiar with each other, entagled with their fate to be together. Imagine if they remember each other completely, instead of just being familiar❤️. Anways, the point is, they are destined to be together.
Not gonna lie, despite liking cathy. The goodbye part made me more emotional compare to when cathy died, I just love these couple. Even cried when im trying to learn the ost "memories" by nicole lacsamana on piano HAHAHA.

From how I interpret the ending, they were always meant to end up together.
It's just this time, the butterflies let things develop naturally according to destiny, so Mark and Nicole don't end up together until they heal their traumas and found their own happiness first.
Trying to force their meeting and character development was the reason for all the reality breaking, wasn't it?
Mas magiging attach ka talaga kay Nicole at Mark kaysa kay Cathy, kasi di siya aware mga nangyayari. Mas malakas talaga connection Nicole at Mark, kasi they suffer sa same exp, and theyre a couple. Will be more impactul pag kay Cathy, kung meron kang Cathy-like bestfriend.

We thank u GLOCO to finish this game and I'm so happy since start u playing until the end, It's my first time to watch and play this kind of game (1st time buy game) but now, this is the end and it's good ending to me. I hope there a sequel about Mark and Nicole in the 1st playthrough.
Notice how Mark and Nicole's respective dates are covered when it pans outside the window and the name of the coffee shop is "Tadhana" means Fate meaning no matter what, they will be and are meant to be together, it may not be the same as the other lifetimes where they met immediately but they are destined for one another.
This time, they won't crash into each other anymore, but come to each other naturally.
@@dmin5782 Yes in fact them crashing to one another is sort of the catalyst for the ripples or alternate realities colliding. So this time them meeting instead ends that cycle and the best part is that they are still destined to be together.
There's also a piano scene in the 2nd cycle, where Mark had to choose between his mom, Cath and Nicole.
I think his mom represents the *Past* , Cath represents the *Present* and Nicole represents the *Future* . I believe this is another hint that he and Nicole are always meant to be a couple later.

At the cafe when Nicole look at the side where mark sitting his not there as we see on mark side nicole wasn't there. It means Both of them live in different timeline and they no longer see each other nor knew each other But, They both end up at the same place, tadhana cafe. Until then :> They still have each other back.
Bruh the ending really broke me. One of the best games I played in a while. I was emotionally invested throughout the entire story. 10/10 for sure.

Just wanna share my thoughts about the game. When Louise sampled the strange phenomena in the multiverse via ping pong balls, those multiple universes coexist in harmony not until for an unknown reason they all collide and you know what or who collided? Yes, in the hallway, Mark and Nicole and that's the best example of collision or unknown reason Louise is trying to say and the more interaction/memories Mark and Nicole made, new universes were born and it gets denser. It's like portraying that the universe doesn't want them together at all but at the same time I believe in red string theory that whatever hindrances they face, if they are meant to be they will find their way back to each other no matter how many multiverse it is. They're against all odds tbh (that's my personal interpretation, they ended up together haha)
I have so many things to say but I'll settle for this na lang 🤣. Kudos to the devs for this outstanding game. Ofc, THANK YOU SO MUCH SENPAI FOR PLAYING THIS GAME! "As Mark's date went unsuccessfully, he sign as he exit the cafe, suddenly his phone rang and he pick it up as to find out it was Cathy asking if the date went well. Well of course after he said that it didn't went well, he received a bundle of teased and laughter from Cathy when suddenly Mark's phone got skillfully robbed by a snatcher. As the snatcher sprint towards the opposite direction were Mark walks, He also follow the thief which is a meter away from him, he ran as fast as he can to catch up. A flash of unfamiliar memories of him running in the hallway suddenly came to his mind... A memory that he didn't experience came to him... like it was happened before. He rapidly close his eyes as get rid of it and focus on the running snatcher, the snatcher skillfully avoid the people on his way while Mark just swiped away all the person on his way a yelling "snatcher!!!!!! " (Magnanakaw!!!).
A loud noise came on her attention as person running towards her, shock, as she can do is to closed her eyes, the person successfully avoided her but the other person who also followed crashed to her so hard the point she flew and land violently.
As they crashed each other, a reaction of bumping hard to something came to their pride and ready to clash a large amount of complains of running and getting in the way. Agrily they got up and ready to complain, but as their eyes meet a rush of unfamiliar memories suddenly came to them... A memories that they didn't know but at the same time it was real... like a Dejavo. A warm familiar felling came to their chest like the warm tears fell to their checks, endlessly as they look each other Renaissance the unfamiliar but warm memories that they didn't experience." As the camera came to a close and flash the message "Until then".

The end is up to our interpretation Kuya Gian, I'd like to think that they both flopped their dates and ended with each other because well they're literally soulmates, they've lived their lives with each other for lifetimes. Also there are two black butterflies at the window it could mean that Mary and Jake lead them to the cafe to meet with each other.. Plus the cafe's name is "Tadhana" which could mean that Nicole and Mark is fated or destined to really meet one another.. That is mostly the headcanon of every players 😆.. I also prefer it that way.. Not gonna lie, I felt betrayed and broken. After seing Nicole and Mark being soulsmates during 100 lifetimes, that last scene felt like they were cheating on each other by trying to date someone else. It was just painful to watch. This was my first impression when I saw the ending,
Now I'm just convincing myself really hard that their date was shitty, and that they get together afterwards.
After playing that game for 20 hour, I'm just reading comments sharing the same belief to cure my depression...
Regardless, I really enjoyed playing that game 9.5/10.

Man fuck that ending man, i mean I'm glad our girl Cathy is alive but at the cost of losing Nicole. Mark and Nicole should be the one's dating not those NPCs, even if they don't remember each other its better for them to start all over again to know each other again, the devs completely miss the mark on that one. Wtf are doing devs you made a spectacular, masterpiece of a game but you cant let our boy mark and Nicole stay together in the end. Im calling bullshit on that one.
It's an open ending. So you're free to headcanon their dates failing, and they end up together once again.
Plus, the cafe's name even means "destiny", I'm pretty sure.
I am extremely grateful to GLOCO for creating such a wonderful series and I am especially appreciative of the efforts in giving each character voice lines to make them seem more lifelike. God this ending broke me. As someone who suffers from depression myself, especially after all I've gone through, the line about just wanting to be understood hit hard. What Mark said about wanting to understand what Cathy's going through, just hit me hard, because my best friend is like that. As a victim of familial abuse, Cathy's experiences throughout this hits home.
As the game said "just accept it and let go". Now I'm overwhelmed with emotions even from the past episode.

Ahhh the feeling of emptiness and melancholy at the same time after watching/playing a peak videogame😌

Through the beginning until the end this game has been absolutely CINEMA!
This was been a hella ride binge watching the videos in one go. It was just been such a good story and amazing development through the characters.
The story really hits hard so much seeing Mark journeys and every other characters too through the story is just soooo beautiful. This game after watching it gives me a different way view on life and learned some things from here and there.
I suddenly remember I used (still now from time to time) experience this kind of things because of a certain traumatic experience and got me felt so guilty about the accident which lead me to some similar situation where I see myself seeing through worlds that looks the same but feels different and odd seeing each moment and experiencing everything as if as it really was my memory, I forgot how many times it happened but it also lead to seeing the world get slowly destroy as it looks so distorted and started to collapse and I ended up getting sleep paralysis as I was stuck in a void but then suddenly I wake up feeling exhausted and out of breath like my life force is getting drained.
And then those dreams memories I thought was weird started happening in reality too which at first I thought was just a coincidence but feel like was not as I feel like I'm experiencing once again this "memories" of mine and started to be super forgetful and man it just feels so weird as its almost the same as Mark without the actual repeating of days.
But then a girl appeared on my dream during 7th grade saying that she already forgive me and no need to feel guilty anymore and she almost looks identical to the person who got into an accident because of me back then and what's worse is her name is also Nicole. And after that the "memories" started to lessen appearing on my mind, it still does happended like predicting my future and feel like things already happened hundred times lol.
But that aside the game truly truly changed me this was just such a wild ride of experience and emotions, such a good game man.

I kinda thought of something, just imagine this:
they'll accidentally bump someday then they're gonna ask if they knew each other, they might think that they're both familiar with each other because their eyes met at a cafe, not knowing they already know each other in the every timeline and shared memories together.
