Hey I just bought the remote an it seems like I have way less power when I'm using throttle is it because of the stops that are behind it?? I saw u removed them when u was switching modes,is there any programming I can do to fix that or should I remove the stops???
I have a dx6 also. now that you've had it opened I noticed there is an antenna wire going into the little snub antenna. What is the other thing with the 2 antenna wires on it? is that telemetry?
Did you really think over that - only the software can be changed from one mode to the other - but how will your throttle stick (hardware) move from one side to another (one side with the spring other side without)
yes you can do the same with DX9 or DX18 We have a changed DX9 and a DX18 too. We are flying all our TX with Mode1 and throttle reversed (We pull throttle)
I accidentally swapped my sticks over in the settings (right stick is now throttle!) and I havnt a clue how to change it back. Can't fly the plane because I don't know how to change them back. Any idea how to do this? Much appreciated
Good video, especially liked the no music and talking bit. All info was written into a small box on the screen when it was required. Simple and efficient.

How do you tell which mode to set the sticks to
The mode depends on the pilot - All is possible from Mode 1 to Mode 4 - We fly Mode 1 with Throttle pulled.
My Dx6i is NOT the same.
Obviously, cause this is the newer DX6 and not the DX6i! There's a big difference and nobody talked about the DX6i here.

Actually did the same as you. I noticed it can be done without opening the radio😅 juat need to pull the rubber grips off and there is holes to adjust

Yup a towel on the table would of stopped all that and protected the radio from scratching and sliding around :P

I have a DX6 G3, its springs are set to mode 2 but it's in mode 1
I guess i just swap the poti and springs
today's models have a back switch for this right?

Thanks for the video. Basis the same steps, can I do the same for the DX9? I asked as there seem to be additional 'cages' to the gimbal area

Most of the Transmitter can mode 1-4 (Graupner, Futaba, Jeti)

I would say Google it. It would be the quickest way (I don't know how to)
