The rainbow bracelet at 1:05 is super simple to segment knot, I did it in like 3 hours! I recommend making it to anyone trying out segment knotting or knows how to :)

Any type of "embroidery floss/craft cord" would work. Cheap brands include Loops & Threads, JP Coats, Anchor, Prism, etc. You can find this stuff at Amazon/Michael's/Wal-Mart or any other arts and crafts store.
