Thanks Tony. CyberPanel should automatically renew the SSL certs. The redirect in the htaccess file can be selected in the template drop-down menu as well. And the SSL cert for the main CyberPanel url can be installed via SSL > hostname if needed.

This works if you are doing it on a clean install OS that has no websites on it already. In my case, I tried to just throw this on in a server that already had an nginx server serving websites using the same domain I want to use for the email server, and although emails do work now, my websites are fubar. Since there is no tutorial for how to throw this on in conjunction with nginx already using the domain, Ill just have to do a clean install again, put my sites back up, and then do some third party service for emails. This is worth mentioning in case it wasnt already.

Thanks for this video Tony, good job explaining how configure that on Digital Ocean, however, I will try install that manually on Debian, but this video help me to define my decision to use this over other similar solutions.

I don't think you can install Cyberpanel on Debian. I think only Ubuntu or Centos. But I don't know for sure

i did almost the exact same steps as you, my domain name also pinged to the correct public ip. but all i get is a /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi redirect. and it is impossible to fix because i have no ideA Where went wrong

Tony I am facing problems I migrated my wordpress site from cloudways to cyberpanel but the old urls are showing 404 errors and when I create new post it was working fine that what could be the problem
Please compare the URL with the 404 error to the URL of a new post and see what the difference is

I don't think that's necessary unless the og admin account has been compromised

yes with OpenLiteSpeed. no with LiteSpeed Enterprise.

For DNS, you can add a DNS A record for your domain that points to the IP address of your server

Hmm I never saw that one. Maybe try reinstalling WordPress... go to Dashboard > Updates > and hit the re-install button

Using Litespeed Cache. No thanks, their code is flawed. Be prepared for multiple redirect errors. Sending people to your website from email won't work. Their fix for their lousy written code is to add code to functions php file.

Can I install this panel on basic 5$ droplet? Will that resources be enough?
Minimum system requirements for CyberPanel are 1 gig of RAM and 10 gig hard drive, so yes the $5 droplet will be sufficient

How do I uninstall cyberpanel from ubuntu/lubuntu?
I'm self hosting, not using a VPS.
I have not personally uninstalled CyberPanel. The official documentation does not mention how to do this. Perhaps you can take a look at the installer script and reverse-engineer it to uninstall the packages you don't need anymore cyberpanel.net/docs/installing-cyberpanel/
@@TonyTeachesTech I checked out the documentation. That's certainly announced that they didn't include documentation for uninstallation. So I just wiped and reinstalled my OS.
