    MS2 here. Just a piece of advice. While it is important to be productive, please be sure to take DEDICATED time for yourself. You can't enjoy the beach or a walk if you are flipping cards. You will be much more focused and enjoy your time off much more if it isn't tainted by flipping cards. It took me a long time to learn that.

      Yeah, I know you’re right about this. My breaks don’t even feel like breaks bc I try to light study during them too. I need to get better at defining my time off as actual time off 😄

    You are such an inspiration to me!! I’m a non-trad (social worker) beginning my pre-med journey.

    Congrats on your admission - you’ve worked so hard to be in medicine! I wouldn’t stress about Anki, just do what works best for you! I personally found Anki a time sink for my medicine program and that I could just be more efficient without them. Either way you will find your groove and what works best for you and your program. Congrats again, huge accomplishment! ☺️❤️

      Thank you so much 💛 yeah I’m still figuring it out and messing around with the whole concept of anki. Right now I can tell you i have a lot of cards made and not a lot actually reviewed, so already not a good sign😅 but I’ve been prepping for a couple quizzes that will be today, and after that I can hopefully catch up on anki the rest of this week

    Have you considered using pre-made decks (Anking specifically) instead of making a bunch of your own? That saves me BUCKETS of time! Good luck :)
    Edit: I used the Michigan deck for anatomy Anki studying and they have practice quiz questions as well!

    • @finance2medicine
      @finance2medicine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I did in the beginning:) a couple of my classmates and I wanted to use Anking, but unfortunately the way my school breaks up the curriculum, it would take me a lot of time to go through the decks and unsuspend the right cards. We’re not broken up as much by disciplines (ie patho, histo) as we are by parts of the body and all the disciplines in relation to that part. So using the premade decks and even resources like uworld would be challenging😕
      Anatomy might be easier to figure out- I was thinking of using pre made cards for it, so I’ll look into the Michigan deck, thank you for the suggestion!

    Can you do a video on how you use notion to export into anki cards? Never heard of this before.

    Does your school have pre-made anki cards or notes?

    • @finance2medicine
      @finance2medicine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think there were some anki cards passed down by the classes ahead of me, but idk where they are or if they’d cover all the info I need 😕
