For people confused about why you only control 1 character now: the director of DA 1-3 games Mark Darrah explains on his TH-cam channel that less than 1% of players ever used the tactical camera in DA:O after tutorials - it was only added to DA:I to avoid negative press. I have ~200 hours in DA:I and I could count on one hand the times I've controlled the rest of my party outside of selecting a few spells. The party tactics and command system was incredible.
@@alsaiduq4363 No, the tactical camera less than 1% was in DA:O, I'm making the analogy for why they, in turn, by now removed the ability to manually control every member of your group - without a doubt the metrics showed that absolutely no one used it, and from my extensive experience I can say that I never did either (same for all my friends).
I like it when the devs have the data to back up their decisions. People like to complain for things they don't even care about. Instead of great RPG like Dragon Age origins or DA:Inquisition we got bored adventure with non binary characters, black elves and stupid story. I tried it for 8-9 hours and uninstalled, lucky i did not buy it.
Dragon age's combat has always been the weaker aspect of its enjoyment and to be honest while I enjoy origins original use of the tactical combat it's really never found its footing after origins. Moving to a more active focused action while having kind of BioShock 2 and 3 party abilities I think is really the better way to go because it's something that can be more interesting to play with on your own while hopefully still having the really good dialogue interactions with characters

That’s going to become the norm in a dialogue heavy rpg with character creation, so you might need to play a different genre. BG3, Starfield and Hogwarts from last year all had pronoun options.

That's probably true, Bioware probably didn't create a good combat encounter since Throne of Bhaal.
But the solution is to make good combat, not just give up and make button mashing filler.
>keep playing bg3 on loop.
No, thanks. I adore the combat, but I find the tone of it rather annoying. I will probably play some fan-made Solasta campaigns instead.
@@Rzepik maybe go out and touch some grass lol
Looks like a cartoon not the dragon age I remember. Similar to fortnite
Dragon age: god of war
dragon age : saints row
Dragon Age: Fraggle Rock
Dragon age: kingdom hearts
Arekz gaming review is what ign and kotaku fails to be. Stating the facts and covering the actual gameplay without an agenda.
???
looks like Dragon Age Inquisition Multiplayer
Is it co op?
No. Dragon Age has always been single player.
@@NiaMariaePlays I see thanks 🙏
Why does mage look so bad compared to previous games
apparently, it's kinda eh in the start, but later on you get a bunch of cool spells you get to use and combo and stuff.
@@xyr3sYou only get 3 spells
@marcogiordanella7795 3 spells u can have active. Apparently there's a big skill tree system to vary builds and stuff as well.
@@xyr3s +10% to fire damage or +10% to necrotic damage is nothing
I’d rather have like 10 abilities to choose from
@@marcogiordanella7795 keep playing DAO then, it hasn't gone anywhere.
I will not support Biowares DEI/woke agenda.they added pronouns to the characters also watered down rpg mechanics
And you went out of your way to waste energy to comment this.....why?
@@TheSuperdarkfox I never seen a game until this one were you can choose your pronouns it's a video game not a bi sexual night club simulator
@@danlovallo497 well hey I recommend RuneScape seem more up your alley
That’s going to become the norm in a dialogue heavy rpg with character creation, so you might need to play a different genre. BG3, Starfield and Hogwarts from last year all had pronoun options.
@danlovallo497 I'm not sure, but... Hogwarts Legacy as well
So is there gonna be a pvp if anyone knows?
It was confirmed back in 2022 that this game will be purely single player
no, thankfully it's single player only
get that bag but its a skip
from T scars, androgynous builds of all characters, no ability for boob/butt, pronoun, and obvious tone and vibe of the game mcu-isms
its just not dragon age, its a watered down sanitized game for broad appeal
so many coddle mechanics makes it impossible to truly challenge, why struggle when options in menu make it easier, game tells u of weaknesses, puzzles can be ignored, combat adhd design than strategic, its all so weak
just a ESG/DEI/BRIDGE game pushing those agendas
Wait, what's esg and bridge?
This needed to be open world
absolutely not
I don't want another Hinterlands situation.

MEDIOCRE AT BEST - BUY WUKONG OR SPACE MARINE, YOUR WELCOME
I can't wait till this game comes out and people get they hands on it. What will the player base do. How will this go over. It's going to be a good few months if everything goes downhill.
Another Failure.
woah man don't be so harsh on yourself
Access Journalism, writ large. This reviewer has no integrity.
This game will forever be known as the top surgery scar game..trash
Snowflake ❄️
everyone forgot the they/them pronouns in bg3, they'll forget this one too since it's just another choice. Go get butthurt for something more relevant.
You're like the guy that was asked to try a meal made of dirt and everyone's like, yea this tastes like trash and you're like...ah yes I detest dark wines and couldn't stand how they paired it with a merlot. Like huh? Bro just don't drink the wine. That's got nothing to do with the fact the meal is made of dirt.
Im worried about the story and hate the name of whatever her face is. ''the veil jumper" sounds like some corny ass american super hero. Also the qunari sims style smooth head is fucking weird. Yeah im gonna wait until people play this and rate it or ill just pirate it.
Just don't bother playing at all why waste your time if you're not going to enjoy the game anyway
Ubisoft rpgs can't be good
It's made by EA. Wow, such in-depth knowledge.
@@Alex_DonnovanI thought I heard paradise said it's ubisoft but he didn't, this game can be decent then
I getcha man but this is made by bioware, give them a chance
