Great interview as always Mkoma Andrew but in my observation it seems the many questions on his relationship with Macheso unsettled him a little bit towards the end. I would have loved some questions around how he felt about the heated music competition he had with fellow musicians of his time, like Chimbetu, Dembo, Zhakata etc. I am sure he would have enjoyed answering those questions that brings pleasant music memories rather too many questions about his relationship with Macheso. It is clear there is something unpleasant that happened between the two of them that he isn't comfortable talking about and will never talk about nomatter how much he is pressed on it. Otherwise a great interview especially because you could relate very well to some of his history which allowed you to ask the right questions.

I followed madzibaba from late 80s but the biography he had given is misleading his history. He previously used to even say Aleck muzukuru and that biography was on Parade Magazine you can check on the library and that's why the song mabhauwa till today confussed who wrote it. In some scripts he said was System Tazvida and later in 1997he said Cephas Karushanga and also can he tell us about stands issue agreements in 1997which lead him to lock his instruments and became a truck driver after the band members denied him the loan agreements. In future Pliz before you ask these artist track their previous records and be ready to ask them questions. I would like to give a task to you by checking on Parade and Prize Magazines of 1992-1999 because anotiitisa makuhwa nevapwere vemazuvano .
