Of all of the astronauts I have had the high privilege of meeting, Captain Lovell and Pete Conrad were two of my favorites. Both men came across as being completely unaware that anybody might consider them to be heroes and Jim made you feel like you were the only person in the room when he talked to you and that you could do anything he could do. Pete was just having the time of his life and genuinely felt you should be too.
I am in awe of both of them as men and then as my astronaut heroes.

You can scroll to any point in G.E.T. that you want, and can isolate which loop you want to listen to. Don't think TH-cam let's us post links, so Google apollo in real time.
It might play on the phone, but to get all the interactive functions, a pc or laptop is best.

What an honor to hear him today as if it happened just yesterday. I was there and watched with the entire USA and the world. I was really young, but he is such a hero, a legend and an icon! Thank you Mr. Lovell for all that you gave in our journey of reaching for the stars.
