I just switched from doing afterschool daycare where we watched a movie and went directly outside with kindergarten-aged children, to a daycare facility where I actually get to play teacher with toddlers. While I definitely need the challenge, I definitely need help knowing exactly what everyone is expecting from me. This is SO helpful!!!

My experience.I was very happy when I found there is a free blende pre K school near my house . I joined My baby who just turned 3 . During orientation I was walking with my kid. The principal and asst principal were greeting everyone, when I was next on line , both principal and ass Principal turned in different direction and looking their phone .it was just a start. I didn't mind that. I walked away to the next booth Pickup drop information. I sent my kid just turned 3 to the blended pre school nearby in USA . Almost all teachers were polite and kind. I was very curious and see group app pics that day to see how my kid was doing . All kids pics except my kid .i asked teacher where is my kid and whether my kid is ok.I know my kid is quite but she participates in class works interestingly .But Teacher said it is kids responsible to come and sit. (As if 3 yr old shud be very responsible?). Also she secretly bullied me called me names hungry ladybug.also next day holloween craft she cut like a middle finger paste on paper and draw "U" in the border and make my kid to hold with that picture while other kids holding pumpkin photos and posted on group app. After she abused my innocent kid like that and She set my kids iPad password as "sheep". She insulted me in the field trip. Point is I am old and smart enough to know I was being bullied by a racist psycho teacher.. Even tho other teachers are polite and kind, and not aware of knowing this .I stopped my kids school and homeschooling my kid. I am typing this to lighten my heart. The terrible thing is other kind teachers might not know the truth or wrongly informed. It is always good to hear the two part of story and decide. For example . If a person point out an apple and say it is a pear, no one is fool enough to believe it blindly. At least they use their own conscious to just see it. One thing is for sure. If only the head is straight, then a tail will be going in a right direction. If a head itself in a wrong direction, then the tail will be in wrong direction inevitably. Even though I like to send my kid to free school, I am really scared . Becoz of some gossiping teachers ,this incident affected my other kid who is in same district connected school .where her class teacher keep giving her whole month lunch detentions for no good reason in the end of year and mentally torture her. In repot card she put ( Positive relationship with school-NA means not improved ) Mental abuse of the kid by a teacher to take on their parents is also a sin. Poisoning other good teachers by gossiping is the disgusting behavior. Point is , if someone gossip, it is foolish to believe it right away.and take revenge on innocent souls. Everyone must understand. Plz don't think just becoz you have power , you can do anything you want and no one is watching . I 100% know there is GOD and he is watching and waiting for the right time to teach a lesson to the vengeful ones. Thank you
ravi kumar I’m so sorry this happened to you, try a Montessori or private preschool. The way they teach the children is brilliant. I can’t stand racism as I am from Chicago and see all types. But I would NEVER let it into my classroom or disrespect a parent no matter how much I dislike them. You and your kids deserve better, good for you for not taking their shit!
Just an observation but they look like they are too young to learn days of the week and months of the year. They are not even singing to those songs because it's too complicated. They learn that stuff in kindergarten nowadays and again in first grade. It's good that you do these videos; it's easier to sit back and observe what works and what doesn't. You guys are very good teachers though. Keep making the videos.
its a montessori school i believe.. and there class includes 3-6 year olds so there probably is some kindergardners there.. they didnt do very good with days of the week but i was suprised how they did with the months
I am in a private preschool and they force it into our curriculum. As a teacher for 15-25mo, my kids don’t need to know the days or months but you know until I write my own paycheck, I do what they ask me to.
Actually there's nothing wrong with singing those songs at that age, they will eventually learn them. They're not being forced, just going over them daily
Her hair looks fine. Maybe it's just frizzy. I've seen videos of preschool teachers wearing sweats or short dresses. Pretty sure you'd rather have the ripped jeans.

they really are having difficulty with the signing.. i think they are mainly having issues because it is fast, might leave that off with my kids
