The relationship between Rudeus and Elinalise is one of my favourite dynamics in the LN.
Their dynamic is literally one of the best in the series. Especially in the Bigarett continent
Honestly Elinalise relationship with Rudeus is probably my favorite non romantic relationship in the story just because of how close they are and how much they care for eachother and even when an embarrassing moment happens (Rudeus flirting with Elinalise right after the succubus attack in the Begarit region) they can still joke about it with eachother and go back to normal immediately

That's tragic in its own way. On the one hand, if that's how the author wants to depict her fate, it is a respectful way to go. But if she seeks another, then that's understandable as well.
She'd mourn the man who's likely the love of her life and then try to move on. She did eventually move on after her first husband was murdered. Well, she pretty much had to, since the curse took over.

From what I See from Other Anime Elf that live very long time change partners when their beloved one Died. But they Stay Loyal when they still Alive. Elinalise herself already have multiple Children just like Sylphy Father.
