Pennzoil is the king. Not only the better engine sound but also the temperature control. My GM engine got better temperature than other two brand Mobil and V brands.
Whoever made this list has no idea what's going on. 😂 The Penzoil Platinum is the best oil on this list. If you don't have a modified engine, ANY oil is going to protect your engine just fine. Just remember to change it every 5k, or 3k if you do alot of short trips and/or idling.
Pennzoil Platinum/ Ultra Platinum cannot go wrong. Unbeaten for performance/protection/value. Used over 10yrs now in my vehicles. 5-6k mi OCI w/ OEM Motorcraft filters in my high tech twin turbo V6 (GTDI) engine in '22 F150 Tremor 4wd truck & '23 Lincoln Nautilus hybrid AWD SUV. 💯
I used Castrol conventional oil for over a decade. 10W-40 and 5W-30. Changing your oil between 5,000 and 6,000 miles with full synthetic is the solution. You can get an extra 1,000 miles from using full synthetic oil over conventional oil. Get a good oil filter to get that extra 1,000 miles. That's really important. Wix, and Fram FE Series premium filters are capable of 5,000+ miles before oil changes. Among some others. I like the Fram FE Series oil filters advertised for 25,000 miles. Do not change your oil every 20,000 to 25,000 miles. Regardless of what the advertised oil filters claim they can achieve? All the oils mentioned in this video are quality engine oils..
Depends the engine. If GDI/ GTDI engines then not good enough. All in the specs! Brands names are marketing hype. 5k mi OCI from modern full synthetic oils at minimum. They very robust. GF-6/SP is new standard.
It's simpler than that: IF you have a GM car that requires "Dexos2" IF you have a VW that requires "505.01",For BMW LL-12 if they are prescribed,MB 229.51 etc... NEXT important action is to change MORE OFTEN than the respective manufacturer prescribes in cases where the manufacturer says 24 months OR more than 15000km... and DON'T forget the gearbox, they need oilservice as well...
5w-50 or 0w-50 is the types of oil most used in high end super cars for the street. Why do you think that is? Because they offer better performance under both cold & high temperature and high load conditions! So if you do not subject your engine to any stress, not to mention high load & high temperature conditions, maybe you can get by with 5w-20...
Amsoil is good, but i just can't justify the price, i change oil every 3.000 miles without fail, used to use castrol Edge, but valvoline high milage beats it.
Amsoil at 6000mile will still have better protection than Castrol at two oil change cycle. Look at testings, and facts on the oil. You are paying more changing castrol more often while getting less protection on your engine. That’s how the price is justified. At least for me.
@@lonniebeal6032 Amsoil tends to market in the right places and is a MLM multi level marketing scheme. I don't care about the marketing does it work is it worth the extra cost etc is what matters.
Nah, Schaffer 9000 is one of the best out there, 8+ TBN while having the best retention and big MOLY numbers. Their oil simply retain them better for long wear and tear protection. These oil mentioned go check out their VOA, not even comparable.
They're all good oils , I use NAPA full synthetic high mileage which is made by Valvoline in my 2009 RAM TRX4. I change my oil and filter every 3500-4000 miles and use Champion or Motorcraft filters.
Amazon basic is the same exact oil sold to Costco in the Kirland brand and the SuperTech sold at Walmart. All bottom tier oils produced by Warren Oil. Pretty much every oil listed and a few more are far better oils, plus use a quality filter and not OEM and bottom tier junk. I can link you to the complete testing of oil filters here on TH-cam, if you would like?

Used Castrol for years until tried Pennzoil, then realized Pennzoil is much better than Castrol.

Yup Ultra Plat. is the best bang for the buck.
@lonniebeal6032 Hard to beat! Tho OEM Full Synthetics are pretty good too. Motorcraft came out on top of Project Farm testing.

Fram Ultra Synthetic is an amazing oil filter- 99%+ efficiency @20 microns! Can be used w/any type oil. I'm stocking up before prices go up!
Listen to the Motor Oil Geek and Project Farm for real data
Wow, you can read the brochures
What oil is good for a 2016 buick regal 2.0 turbocharged engine full synthetic
Thank God for Project Farm !
Oh ya
I just discovered an oil that is high performance. Triaxx synergy SRT. I'm running it in my Acura RDX.
Notice everyone that test oil always use royal purple as a competitor
It’s not read “six ex” or “twenty ex” 6x or 20x is read as “6 times”… “20 times.”

Is the Walmart long life oil any good
CASTROL Number One in my book.
Didn’t mention anything about Pennzoil being good for turbo chargers, like they did with the other oils

Great 👌 You are right....Penzoil and Valvoline rules. 🇺🇲🌎🇸🇻
I use Brad Penn "the green oil" on my Supra thats 1000whp and my 700whp Civic.
Motor Oil Geek says Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is the best.
Amsoil?
I wouldn't take this review serious. Think it's click bait more than anything.
Agree valvoline number 1 for me
Amsoil or Pennzoil, which wins Championship? Let's find out!

Amsoil is and will forever be the best.
YOUR THROWING GOOD😢😢 MONEY 💰 🤑 💸 AWAY AMSOIL IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE ANY TOP OIL DOES JUST AS GOOD.
Why is royal purple still ILSAC- GF5 ?
What about Amsoil

Where is AMSOIL?
The AI voice is pleasant. Too bad I didn't learn anything new.
Redline is close to amsoil.
I prefer quaker state fs and valvoline.
You lost me when you didn't know how to pronounce amazon basics.

Highly subjective review. Sounds too fishy with bad infos.
Valvoline il migliore anche shell
Amazon Basic Oil doesn't look like is sold anymore. Also Terrible video and offers nothing
