I've been doing incredible suds, quick beads and ceramic gloss once a month as my form of protection. And then rinseless as maintenance washes once or twice a week. Much preferred over spending an entire weekend polishing and ceramic coating.
everything yvan teaches is always so perfect and *SIMPLE* he never over thinks anything. this style of detailing is how you can actually enjoy the process and save a ton of time. I used to be the over thinker worrying about mixing this with that not knowing if its bad for the paint and never enjoyed detailing my own car until i started following the ways of diy detail.
WYS = = what would Yvan say? If you are wondering why there are not 2W’s it is because 2W would be a waste of product. WYS? Efficiency breeds quality “
Yep, that was definitely worth the wait, an awesome video! I absolutely love the foaming method for Quick Beads and can't wait to try it… in spring (vive l'hiver du Québec) 😂😂
On the back of the shirt put waterless wash with the sponge with a few water drops from the sponge then write under just a few drips or just a few drops
@ Quick Beads is a phenomenal product, foaming it on seems like a great way of insuring you didn’t miss a spot as you’ll have that visual aspect there for you. Definitely gonna be an interesting video!
This is a great process of quick beads in foam cannon. Can’t wait to get my two BF mystery boxes!! OK on ceramic coated cars? Don’t want to plug up the coating. Nick, we know what “good from far, but far from good” means, 5 foot look, LOL. Black car one nighter, haha! So true. FRF baby, even on the wheels, great plan
I feel like "no pressure" or "less is more" would be cool somewhere on a DIY shirt! Would get one for sure I didnt know about using the foam cannon for quick beads, going to definitely try that
Hi you boys thanks for the lessons, always great, I tend to use hand held blower to get rid of drips of water from creases mirrors and behind rubber trims
Thank you for the tips and products! I have a question: I have a car that has already been professionally ceramic coated with a 3 year warranty coating. Should I still decontaminate the car like you did in this video every few months before adding a ceramic topper, or will this decontamination be harmful to my existing base ceramic coating? Thanks!
I liked this review, it may be the quickest/easiest way to get a decent result. I don't think it is as good as applying a top quality wax, which lasts months, but that takes a lot more time and effort. I don't mind time & effort though, as it always gets the very best results. Regarding leaving the product on at the 2nd stage, and then applying the 3rd product on top, I find a bit worrying, because unless you know exactly how the two different products react with each other, you could find they weaken each other or cancel out.
@@diydetailofficial I beg to differ. Something like Soft99 Fusso coat is a proven 9-12 months coating, I wash my car almost every weekend, and it lasts me a good 9 months still beads. Even some ceramic coatings don't last much longer, so there isn't a chance some spray on ceramic detailer is going to last close to that.
With quick beads in a foam cannon… is there any streaking issues with leaving quick beads past 30 seconds? Can ceramic gloss be used on a foam cannon like this?? 🤔 great efficiency as always!!
Hey DIY Detail! I plan on doing a deep clean, polishing, and finally ceramic coating my car with your 8 year coating, only using your polishing pads. My question is as follows: I only have a DA polisher. I understand you generally recommend a rotary for this, but I wanted to know: Would the DA be okay for the red jeweling pad to enhance gloss? Also, would you recommend running it in the highest speed setting to try and make it like a rotary? Or would it be the regular 2-3 speed setting suffice? Thank you! Keep making awesome videos and products!
2-3 speed setting is sufficient, the red Jeweling pad is great on a DA. The DA at its slowest speed actually moves the abrasive faster over the paint than the Rotary
im big fan of you guys you doing a great job please i need few advices 1st can i polish my windsheild glass and door glass by rotary or dual action ? you quick response is highly appreciated thanks in advance
Would this form of adding quick beads be counter productive outside in the sun? Would it dry too fast and cause streaking? Any advice on how you would do it outside?
oooooooh looks interesting 😜😜😜 … what dilution did you go with for the foam cannon? i found that for coated cars 1oz of quick beads per 18oz is perfect, unprotected cars like 2oz
Yvan, how do you recommend cleaning salty windows and mirrors when you don't have time to do a full wash but need to see. I used rinseless to try and lift off the oils and grim twice, and it left some nice streaking as it always does, even after with a glass cleaner still streaking from the brine oils. So annoying, I love winter but boy do i hate salt
Hi Guys! Loved all the SEMA videos! QUESTION: I ordered a new pickup. It's being painted in Mid-December, and should be delivered to the dealer in Jan 2025. How long should I wait to apply the C6?
I was just wondering, when Quick Beads was first introduced it was said that you spray it on and you need to rinse it off immediately. Why is it safe to leave quick beads on for so long when using the foam cannon to apply to vehicle?
I see that in many of your videos, you use the clay towel as one of your decon steps. Do any of these cars have ceramic coating applied to it before? Would the towel affect / strip the ceramic coating over time?
I tried to search the comments, but is it ok to let the quick beads sit on the paint as applied in this process? Typically you have to rinse off a few mins after spraying it on…???
Is it possible to do a iron removal/decon after doing a rinselss wash? Or does that step require a proper hand wash? I wanted to decon so I could also use the spray sealant afterwards but it gets complicated because I was originally planning to do a restless wash and then the spray sealant and then dry afterwards. Having the decon step in between complicates things I feel?
@@diydetailofficial OK. I think I conflate "iron decon" with just decon in general. I was planning on using a rinseless wash and then a spray sealant on an otherwise uncoated/unprotected car. Rinseless wash, spray the sealant as a drying aid, and then dry with a towel. I wasn't sure if my method would be damaging the paint. Sealant on a rinseless washed car that LOOKS clean.
I used the clay towel on a are for like 2mins and it still sounds like there’s contamination on the paint I used iron remover as a lubricant and everything and then we I go to touch it it’s smooth as butter but then I go back and clay again sounds like there’s contamination then at the end there light scratches every lol help what did I do wrong? Is my clay towel too old?
Awesome tutorial! Love these wash and talks from you both. Knowledge BOMBs! 💣 I need to use up my Koch GSF, can it be used in this process with QB going over it before a deacon? Also, to conserve QB can it be sprayed from the bottle rather than the foam cannon, before the deacon towel? Just for a sanity check on the QB to water ratio @ 15:1 in ML…887ml Water to 59ml QB
No sure of the compatibility with GSF. You will need to do a test. Using the foam cannon in many cases actually uses less DIY Detail Quick Beads. For one car you only need to mix up 15 oz of water with 1 oz of DIY Detail Quick Beads. Yes your calculations are correct

DIY Detail Quick Beads or DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss last much longer than a wax. Our products are designed to work together.

Do the car in sections
I usually dry my glass first to prime the towel then dry the paintwork

Hi Guys! Loved all the SEMA videos! QUESTION: I ordered a new pickup. It's being painted in Mid-December, and should be delivered to the dealer in Jan 2025. How long should I wait to apply the C6?
The day you get it. The paint is fully cured before it leaves the factory.
What do you do with your drying towels after drying. Should you throw them n the washing machine or rinse them in clean water and hang?
We clean and hang 5-6 times, then launder
Can Quick Beads be used as the drying aid too if i dont have Ceramic Gloss?
Yes
@diydetailofficial thank you. I know what I'm doing this weekend.
As long as the soap has no striping component the products have no conflicts?
Correct
So if doing this outside in the sunlight it's probably not recommended right? Quick Beads potentially drying wouldn't be ideal. Correct??
Correct
I was just wondering, when Quick Beads was first introduced it was said that you spray it on and you need to rinse it off immediately. Why is it safe to leave quick beads on for so long when using the foam cannon to apply to vehicle?
The application method changes the dwell time

The Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel has no effect on a coating
Would you recommend all these steps if you’re detailing outside? I feel like everything would dry a little faster
Yes, but work accordingly

So it's safe to use the decontamination towel if I'm only doing a chemical decontamination and not a mechanical?
Yes
