Hope you guys get it done, im sure this year you have noticed the difference and benefits in spraying fungicide, great to see you guys got some heavy yeilds this year, especially since the last couple years were light

If it’s a decent year we always spray the wheat and peas. Canola not usually but did more this year than ever and now I’m glad I did. Yield bump but also standing so much better

@dustinbezugly i help my uncle during harvest here in Alberta, and he swears by spraying, he always says regardless of conditions, traditionally you'll always more than cover your cost of spraying by the increased yeild, just because the plant stays stronger and healthier longer, which helps it cope the best in tougher growing conditions including drought stress.

That was some serious repair work with the separator! It's incredible how durable these machines are, even with the occasional hiccup like a broken shaft. I'm curious, how do you handle downtime when you're racing against the clock in harvest season? Do you find that having a backup combine helps or do you rely on getting these repairs done quickly in the field? Also, love the part where you warmed up the lasagna in the cab-true farming multitasking! 😄

Not much downtime as it rained the next day so got it fixed and was going again the day after. When we’re down to one combine it seems very slow compared to two

After a while I get sick of sandwiches. Use that cooker every few days. I usually foil my container and add a little water into bottom of cooker and steams food hot without drying out.

Good tip! What food have you all warmed up in it?
