It's good to see the crop being harvested! Can you see rocks in the field before you actually reach it? I don't see how you can see it through all the crop!
Folks used to say it was a "next year" deal. Now farming is a "next 3 years" deal. Without insurance it's very hard to survive just one bad year anymore. Everything is way more expensive, and in relation, crop prices have not kept up. So carrying more insurance is just another expense when you do have a good year.
Always a good feeling when it is finally in the bin. A lot goes in to getting it there.
