    When Biman started flights to NRT, I saw on the news that Biman is doing codeshare agreements with the Japanese Careers (names werent mentioned) to help passengers connect to fly to US west coast.

      And yes, they indeed ordered A350s. Idk how many but they did.

    Starting Codeshare with one of the majors that go the US seems to be a good stepping stone. There is no reason to restrict to the european route only. They try Singapore and Hong Kong.

    Without a private management, Bangladesh biman will be all about pride, than profit.
    So far Bangladeshi airline is a systematic drain for the economy of Bangladesh.

    I suggest Biman should operate flight from DAC to LGW ( London Gatwick) and codeshare with Virgin Atlantic to several U S cities.This way they could be popular and profitable by U S customer.

      Good plan, but we have a problem, Virgin pulled out of Gatwick.

    If it is non-stop then no point. Flight time ends up being longer. Also might as well book a layover ticket with another airline so you can get off the plane and get some rest or see another city.

    Question why is it not direct nonstop service and why do they have to refuel? NYC has flights to Delhi India direct nonstop with no refueling. Dhaka and Delhi are an hour away from eachother

    Great video!! I think Biman has the same ideology as many Asian airlines it’s more about US routes being a pride thing for the country rather than profits just like PIA and the old JFK route

      Beautifully worded. They don’t need to fly to JFK tbh but it does seem like quite the prestige to serve the airport and city.

    they are ready to take on losses, because these longhaul flights serve VFR traffic from the USA and canada. They would be valuable foreign exchange/hard currency (USD/CAD) earners while much of the expenses would in the local currency.

    Izmir is a lot cheaper than Istanbul for landing cost, Biman will have 10 Airbus A350's,, President of France went to Bangladesh to sign agreement. it wil retain 787's for regional routes. Biman has already started flying to Toronto by the way.th-cam.com/video/W7YhQvUjmaA/w-d-xo.html

    This is ridiculous!! The writings' on the wall. The U.S. isn't permitting the airline to fly passengers directly between Turkey & the U.S. for 1 reason only, & it ain't safety or a lack of aircraft. Aircraft leasing companies exist for this very reason, & if they can afford to order new aircraft, they can surely afford to lease a few to satisfy their route network. Please tell me I'm not the only 1 who sees it. ✈️✈️😳😳

    Biman is a dangerous flight. They have the worst aircraft’s. They need brand new 380’s in their fleet for example Emirates.

    • @mehedihasan-uo5kz
      @mehedihasan-uo5kz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Airbus doesn't even make a380s anymore and plus buying a380s will make them go bankrupt. They consume a shit tone of fuel, their existing fleet of aircraft is alr very good

      You have no idea what you are talking about. Do you know the operating specifications or economics of a B777, 787 or an A350 . ? A380 is history , no more dude !
